Management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic

Title: Management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to present recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic derived from its analysis on the basis of sequential management functions, such as planning, organizing, selecting and deploying staff, leading people and controlling. This analysis, which is a secondary objective and precedes the main objective, was performed by comparing the responses, attitudes and opinions of the respondents of the semi-structured interviews regarding the functioning of beach soccer management. Methods: Internal documents analysis, semi-structured interviews with a top beach soccer manager, Chief coach of the national teams and two players of beach soccer Results: The result of this thesis is a series of recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic based on its previous analysis. The author sees the most significant problem in the strategic goals, which are set quite unrealistically. A new strategic plan is proposed, in which the required number of members in 2028 is rapidly reduced, which also results in an analogous reduction in the required number of teams and leagues. Analysis and forecast of prize money development in selected sports taking into account unexpected external influences

Title: Analysis and forecast of the development of prize money in selected sports, taking into account unexpected external influences. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the development of prize money at the largest sporting events - tennis, golf and biathlon, and then create a forecast until 2033. A partial objective is to consider the effects of unexpected external influences (covid-19 and the war between Russia and Ukraine) on the prize money in recent years, which significantly affected the prize money. Methods used: Quantitative prognostic methods in the Excel program were used to compile the forecast of selected sports events. Using a linear and exponential trend line, the future course of the monitored development was recorded. In most cases, the exponential trend line, which showed a higher R2 reliability value, had a higher predictive value. Results: The result is a forecast of the development of prize money at the largest sporting events of tennis, golf and biathlon and an assessment of external influences (covid and the war between Russia and Ukraine) on their development. Title: Attitudes of referees and football public towards VAR technology. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to find out how VAR works in the Czech Republic, how it is perceived and where it will go in the future, based on interviews and the opinion of the football public. Methods: The work will combine qualitative and quantitative methods. First, referees will be interviewed and an electronic questionnaire will be developed for the football public. The questionnaire will be used to determine the public's perception of VAR. Results: Based on the information gathered from the respondents, it was found that VAR technology is perceived quite positively, but still has many negatives and room for improvement. Title: Benefits of SK Slavia Prague football match for spectators Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to identify and describe the individual benefits for the spectators of attending a football match of SK Slavia Prague in the current season 2022/2023 at the home stadium. Subsequently, through marketing research, the satisfaction of direct spectators with the benefits offered by the club in connection with attending SK Slavia Prague home matches will be determined. Methods: Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in the thesis. It was therefore a mixed research. Personal observation, semi-structured interviews and electronic questionnaire method were used to obtain the necessary data. The quantitative research was used to determine the satisfaction of the direct spectators with the partial benefits of a football match of SK Slavia Prague at the home stadium. Results: The main benefits of the SK Slavia Prague football match at the home stadium were identified as sport performance, safety, stadium, accompanying programme, accompanying services and VIP services. Title: Principles of Good Governance in a Selected Sports Organisation Objectives: The main aim of this work is via exploring of each principle of good governance concept reaching overall and partial results for the selected sports organization. Methods: Research is divided into four dimensions where each one contains different number of principles. Principles are divided into indicators. While using content analysis of relevant documents and additional interview with representative of a selected organization are these indicators rated. For all the variables then results come out which are statistically and via text interpreted. Results: Results show a recent situation of the organization in dimensions of transparency, democratic processes, internal control and social responsibility. According to final results organization leads its best in questions of transparency. On the other hand, its worst is in the framework of social responsibility. Testing of model for predicting the outcome of professional tennis matches

Title: Testing of model for predicting the outcome of professional tennis matches Objectives: The aim of this work is to create a simple and easy to understand model to predict tennis matches. Methods: In this thesis it was used secondary analysis of the data for gaining a relevant and current information. In this work it was emphasized on valid data, which should come from the reliable sources. Further, mathematic and statistical methods were used to obtain calculation for determination correct predictions. The obtained data were processed a then they were presented within tables. Results: The modified model based on the Low-point model, which was simplified so the general public could understand it and which used easily searchable and immediately available data, successfully predicted the tournament Australian Open 2021. At the end of the tournament we had more money on the fictitious account than at the beginning. The model was able to correctly predict 5 out of 7 matches and it was in profit when betting on the predicted winner as well as betting on the advantage of the odds. However, when the model was validated at the next two Grand Slams, this model was at loss, so we cannot designate it as long-term profitable. Title: Management and marketing of Men's Softball World Championship in Prague and Havlíčkův Brod in 2019 Objectives: The main objective is to evaluate the organization as a component of the management and marketing and promotion strategy of the Men's World Championship 2019 in Prague and Havlíčkův Brod. On the basis of the performer analysis, also propose opimization tools that would lead to an improvement in the quality of the organization, which would increase its competitivness. Methods: The first method is the in-depth interview method. The interview was conducten with members of the sports event's organizational team. The secon method use dis the analysis of documents, both internal toCzech Softball Association and publicly available. Next, the method that was chosen is the method of comparative analysis, which was used to compare the real course of preparations and the World Championship event itself with theoretical starting points. Title: Possibilities of improving the service of a selected company Marketing research of customer satisfaction Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to create a proposal to improve the Surf Camp in Portugal in the upcoming season. The evaluation of current customers satisfaction was achieved through both the standpoint of its customers as well as its management. Methods: Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to evaluate the customers satisfaction. The main research methods used were questionnaire surveys, an interview using the instruction with the company's owner and employ and internal data analysis. Results: The results of this diploma thesis are shown in graphs, tables and classification crosses. The data obtained helped to identify opportunities for improvement, and based on them, suggestions and recommendations were made to improve Surf Camp in Portugal. Title: Marketing communication of a selected sports club through social networks Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis is based on the analysis of the current state of marketing communication on the social networks of the hockey club SKLH Žďár nad Sázavou to create a communication plan for the season 2022/2023. This plan will lead to the correct use of social networks, but also to the expansion of content and greater activation of partners. Methods: Qualitative methods were used to evaluate the current state of marketing communication on social networks. The main research methods were yearlong analysis of social networks, a semi-structured interview with the administrator of social networks and the analysis of the provided statistics from social networks. Results: The result of this diploma thesis is a communication plan through the social networks of the hockey club SKLH Žďár nad Sázavou for the season 2022/2023. The newly created communication plan is focused on low financial costs, as the hockey club puts minimal financial amounts into marketing communication on social networks, and especially on the main mistakes that the club currently makes on social networks (does not distinguish between posts on Facebook and Instagram, monotonous content, zero involvement of club partners,...
