Using artificial intelligence to automate trading
Čermák, František ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of artificial intelligence for automating stock trading. The main objective was to investigate current technologies applied in algorithmic trading and then to design and develop an automated trading system using artificial intelligence. The work focuses on various aspects of algorithmic trading, including high frequency trading, cloud solutions, machine learning, blockchain and smart contracts. It also explores the applications of AI in trading, such as predictive analytics and natural language processing, and discusses the ethical and regulatory challenges associated with this technology. The design and development of an automated trading system is described in detail, including system architecture, choice of programming languages and tools, and implementation of trading algorithms. The results show that the use of artificial intelligence can significantly increase the efficiency and accuracy of stock trading, but technological and ethical risks must be considered. This thesis makes a significant contribution to research in the field of algorithmic trading and provides a foundation for further research in optimizing trading algorithms and integrating new technologies.
Mini 3D printer
Čermák, František ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with desig of a functional miniature 3D printer. The theoretical part analyzes the anatomy and control of such printer. There is also a detailed description of individual parts of the printer. Materials that are used by FDM printer are mentioned as well. The practical part is about design and construction of the miniature FDM printer. Then the detailed workflow of electronic connection and manipulation with softwares to control the 3D printer is described. At the end of the thesis, the unusual problems that I encountered while solving the task are also analyzed and explained.
Thermal processes in machining of metal and non-metal materials
Čermák, Filip ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis examines the temperature processes during the machining of various materials in the form of an experimental study. The elaboration of this topic includes acquaintance with machining technologies of milling and turning, introduction to the issue of temperature processes during the machining process and their measurement. The second part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on an experiment in which the temperature is measured by a pyrometer during the machining of metallic and non-metallic materials. In the end, the measured results are evaluated and presented.
Laser cleaning of technical materials
Čermák, Filip ; Joska, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of the effect of laser cleaning on the surface of the base material, respectively on its surface texture. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of laser technologies, an overview of surface cleaning methods in the field of mechanical engineering and the introduction of the company ŽLUTÉ LASERY s.r.o., that helped to create and process the assigned topic. In the practical part focused on the experiment is discussed the choice of materials, production of samples, selection of types of impurities and their application to designated areas. The main part is a description of the laser cleaning process, roughness measurement and statistical evaluation of the investigated surface roughness parameters (Ra, Rz, Rp, Rv, RSm, RPc, Sa, Sz, Sp, Sv, Spd and Spc). In the end, the processed results are evaluated and presented.
Rights of passengers in international air transport and the influence of COVID-19 pandemic
Čermák, Filip ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Zavadilová, Marta (referee)
Rights of passengers in international air transport and the influence of COVID- 19 pandemic Abstract The thesis is devoted to the legal regulation of the relationship between passengers and air carriers in air passenger transport. The text is set in a general historical framework, which illustrates the rapid development of air transport from the 1920s to the present day, with special emphasis on the modern era. One of the aims of the study is to show how difficult it is for the legislator to respond to ongoing changes in the industry as well as unexpected events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The central theme is then the analysis of Regulation 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, one of the most important pieces of legislation on the relationship between passengers and air carriers. The thesis presents the system of regulation enshrined in this Regulation, its strengths and weaknesses - taking into account the extensive case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union - and shows the impact of the above-mentioned pandemic in this area (the common cancellations of flights due to anti-epidemic measures led to frequent application of Regulation 261/2004 and to heated debates on some of the newly emerging controversial issues). It is pointed out that the problematic aspects of the...

This report describes the work carried out in the second year of the public contract Geological and geotechnical characterisation of the rock environment – PVP Bukov II. The\ncharacterisation and descriptive works are directly related to the excavation of the premises for the future underground laboratory. These include in particular: geological and geotechnical documentation of the faces and walls of the workings, petrographic, mineralogical and structural geological documentation, hydrogeological characterisation of the environment, as well as determination of the physical and mechanical properties of the rock mass in situ and in the laboratory, geophysical characterisation and monitoring of the seismic effects of blasting and hydrogeological monitoring. An important part of this report is preparation of the classification system used to describe the rock mass. The report also includes a brief overview of the work planned for the third year of the project.

Theory of interventions and the concept of minimal intervention
Cvrček, Václav ; Sgall, Petr (advisor) ; Čermák, František (referee) ; Kořenský, Jan (referee)
Theory of Interventions Theory of Interventions was elaborated as a general methodological and sociolinguistic theory describing 1) influences which can change the language development (types of intervention, their effect and their classification) and 2) the possible ways how to design relationship between linguists, speakers and language. According to this theory, language is an object which is exposed to interventions (metaphor of an Brownian motion from physics, p. 19). Among other possible divisions, interventions can be of two types: individual and institutionalized (p. 18). Individual interventions include processes of (self-)censorship, proofreading or language management in media. These interventions create a spontaneous order, they are plural and variable. Therefore they mutually interfere and their impact is very small or none (they almost never influence the immanent evolution of language). On the other hand, institutionalized interventions include processes leading to standardization of language, language education or language politics. Impact of institutionalized interventions can influence development of language, because they are monopoly and because of their authority.
