This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of the selected company Nové Vinařství, a.s. and proposals for its improvement over the period 2013-2017. In the first half of the thesis, the theoretical part will be elaborated, focusing on specific methods of financial analysis applied in the practical part. Another part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of the selected company. The final chapter will propose measures to improve the financial situation of the company.

Bachelor thesis is focused on interface of company DOLP, s.r.o. Intern analysis is based on utilization of strategical tools and financial analysis which are outgoing from resources provided by the company (intern materials, financial statements). This thesis is divided into three parts. First part is focused on theoretical basis, of the chosen analytical tools, in the second part is made an analysis of the chosen company and in the last part are mentioned improvements fand suggestions for better running of the bussines based on the conducted analysis.

The bachelor thesis focuses on a evaluation of the financial position of the company SVOBODA – výroba domácích knedlíků, s.r.o. over the period 2012–2015 using financial analysis indicators. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The first part describes methods of financial analysis and theoretical solutions. The second part provides basic information about the copany and calculation of the indicators. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate financial position of the company and to propose possible solutions, which might lead to an improvement of the current financial healt.

Tools and methods for measuring and reducing risk

The content of this thesis is a critical analyze of the current methods of risk reduction in a company engaged in food production. Based on the obtained information to suggest methods for measuring and reducing risks in the field of staff and food industry. The food industry comes up with a lot of characteristics of the field, such as professional staffing, increasing demands on the level of hygiene (as part of the enforcement authorities, and by consumers) as well as keeping pace with new trends and technologies. The main contribution of this work is to show how the selected company can deal with the risks and survive in a highly competitive environment.
