Modeling of linear drive for control design purposes
Drábek, Jakub ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design of control of linear drive by taking advantage of connection between tools provided by NI LabView graphical programming environment and SolidWorks 3D CAD system. This work describes the various resources the CAD systems provide for virtual modeling of mechatronic systems and their simulation. Control is designed using simulation tools by utilizing link between NI LabView and SolidWorks, while the invented control mechanism is finally tested on real system.
Simulation modelling of VNT mechanism kinematics
Zelda, Jan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the modeling of kinematics VNT Turbocharger mechanism. In the first part, there is a general overview of supercharging combustion engines, search optimization methods and overview of the types of simulation models. Creating a simulation model and performing sensitivity analysis of each part follows. The final part of the thesis reflects the impact of clearance in the joins of the mechanism.
Complex simulation model of vibration power generator
Harapát, Jan ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work is focusing on analysis of current development in energy harvesting projects in aerospace industry field, and on analysis of current development in vibration generator field. It is also concentrating on establishment of a complex simulation model of vibration generator. It deals with modeling of magnetic field of generator and its cross connection with a mechanic and an electronic model.
Proposal of Microactuator Based on SMART Material
Hradil, Aleš ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the proposal of microactuator based on SMART material. The thesis opens with the comparison of SMART materials which are suitable for actuator construction from the point of view of a reaction on stimulation in form of deformation. Subsequent part of the thesis is the report theory of piezoelectric effect, it also describes direct and indirect effects and it concerns about the description of piezoelectric materials. The thesis focuses on several principles of piezoactuators and motors. The last part of the thesis includes modeling and simulation of piezoelectric material in program ANSYS 13.0 and dimensioning geometric of actuator with evaluation of impact of parameters on final motion.
Modelling of mechatronic system with flexible parts
Kšica, Filip ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the simulation modelling of mechatronic system with flexible parts using ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink. The beginning of thesis is dedicated to the summary of available methods of modelling mechatronic systems with flexible parts. Next chapters describe different approaches of modelling flexible parts using analytical and numerical methods. In the following step, model of particular mechatronic system is created. System itself consists of a flexible beam part, electromagnetic vibration exciter and vibration power generator. Each part of the system is created separately in variety of programmes, including FEMM, ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink. At the end of this thesis, co-simulation of ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink is used to describe behavior of the complete system, especially energy conversion efficiency of vibration power generator and its impact on the system.
Pendulum excitation
Vrána, Jiří ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creating a model situation of excited pendulum with one degree of freedom that oscillates in both linear and nonlinear condition. The theoretical part describes several basic concepts of oscillation theory and states some examples of pendulum applicability. The practical part consists assembling of motion equations of model situations, based on which simulations programs are created. The thesis contains also concept of practical use of the nonlinear pendulum model.
Flood control measures in the Loučka Catchment
Hadaš, Zdeněk ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the river basin flood protection Loučka. The aim to assess the need tu supplement flood control measures in the watershed. The first half deals with exploration of river basin, providing geographic factors and obtaining information on the topic. The second part deals with the establishment and application of rainfall model to solve the problem. For schematisation basin was used ArcGIS program. Rainfall simulation process were calculated critical duration of rainfall intensity and spare set of N-year flows. It was by searching for critical points and assessed for possible overflow.

This master thesis deal with analysis of possible alternative energy sources for health monitoring of railway trafic. Mainly focus on energy harvesting via SMART materials, specifically materials with piezoelectric and magnetostrictive properties. First theoretical background and real concepts are introduced, followed by material modelling and simulations. End of thesis cover parameter suggestion and SMART materials comparation and valorizations.
Proposal of mechatronic system with vibro-insulator
Fargač, Michal ; Březina, Tomáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The theoretical study of this thesis deals with options available for preventing the passing of vibrations on precision mechatronic system through the structure on which they are stored. The practical part consists of the design concept of vibro-insulating mechatronic system. At first there is an analysis of the unique structure in ANSYS Workbench. Next chapters describe how to connect the ADAMS and MatLab Simulink softwares for the purpose of co-simulation of dynamic systems. With this co-simulation, the carrying structure of the system is being analyzed. Finally, the concept of vibro-isolation system is designed and simulated for its response to force load.
