Illustrative Example of Model-Based Design for Complex Aircraft Systems
Sopoušek, Radek ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Janák, Luděk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is on the development of aviation systems, in particular their software, using model-based design (MBD) methods while maintaining recommended practices developed by the aviation industry and certification authorities (in particular RTCA DO-178C/331). The general MBD deployment options given by current aviation regulators and standards are described in the theoretical part of the work. Furthermore, this work describes what the process of developing software for a sub-segment of an aircraft system (altitude hold mode of autopilot software) could look like using the model-based design method. The overlap to the system development level (SAE ARP 4754A) is also partially addressed. The work includes an illustrative example in which system requirements were specified, software development through "Design model" and ensuring traceability between system requirements and model design.
Software possibilities of using algorithms of artificial intelligence methods in industry
Karas, Kristián ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the use of artificial intelligence techniques in the industry and in systems for monitoring machines. In the practical part, the work focuses on the construction of a convolutional neural network and its testing on real data for diagnosing the state of the machine.
Using artificial intelligence to monitor the state of the machine
Popara, Nikola ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focus on monitoring state of machine parts that are under the most stress. Type of artificial intelligence used in this work is recurrent neural network and its modifications. Chosen type of neural network was used because of the sequential character of used data. This thesis is solving three problems. In first problem algorithm is trying to determine state of mill tool wear using recurrent neural network. Used method for monitoring state is indirect. Second Problem was focused on detecting fault of a bearing and classifying it to specific category. In third problem RNN is used to predict RUL of monitored bearing.
Development of monitoring application for a production cell workspace with SICK scanners
Dostál, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis is about scanners of SICK company and monitoring methods in workspaces. Next in this thesis is described implementation of monitoring methods in robotic industry. Objective of practical part was design, implementation and to test application created in LabVIEW for monitoring workspaces. Created application contains choice of use serial communication with scanner SICK PLS 101-312 or possibility to create simulation of monitoring workspace. In conclusion both choices are tested and evaluated.
Coherent dusty and gaseous structures near the Galactic center
Štofanová, Lýdia ; Karas, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kovář, Jiří (referee)
Sagittarius A*, a compact source in the centre of the Milky Way, is the nearest supermassive black hole (SMBH) in our cosmic neighbourhood, where various astrophysical processes take place. In consequence, variety of structures emerge near the Galactic centre and bow shocks that are closely studied in this work represent an example of them. The introductory part of this thesis is a brief review of the history of the Galactic centre research and its discovery in radio wavelengths. The main body of the thesis is focused on a simplified model of the bow- shock structures that are generated by stars moving supersonically with respect to the ambient medium. We discuss how these structures vary along the orbit. To this end, we consider four different models: (a) without the presence of any gaseous medium emerging from or accreting onto the SMBH, (b) taking an outflow from the SMBH into account, (c) the case of an inflow onto the SMBH, and finally (d) the combined model involving both an outflow and an inflow at the same time. We discuss symmetries of each model (or lack of them) and we find that the model considering the ambient medium at rest appears symmetrical with respect to the pericentre passage. The combined model manifests itself as the most asymmetrical one of them all. We show profiles for the...
DAQ application development for measurement of electric energy consumption in machinery
Kovář, Lukáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to develop application for data acquisition and analysis during the measurement of electrical consumption at mechanical machines. First part of the diploma thesis is providing general summary about the methods of measuring the electrical consumption. Special focus is given on methods of the metering electrical consumption in three-phase distribution network. Furthermore, the data acquisition components are being described. Hardware components and development environment LabVIEW where the program itself was created are detailly described.
Using artificial intelligence to monitor the state of the machine
Kubisz, Jan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis focus on creation of neural network’s internal structure with goal of creation Artificial Neural Network capable of machine state monitoring and predicting its remaining usefull life. Main goal is creation of algorithm’s and library for design and learning of Artificial Neural Network, and deeper understanding of the problematics in the process, then by utilising existing libraries. Selected method was forward-propagation network with multi-layered perceptron architecture, and backpropagation learning. Achieved results was, that the network was able to determine parts state from vibration measurement and on its basis predict remaining usefull life.
Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0
Hirsch, Radim ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to provide an overview of the application of artificial intelligence methods in the context of Industry 4.0. The first chapter defines the concept of industry 4.0, previous development of the industry and inclusion of the scientific field of artificial intelligence in this concept. The second chapter is focused on the applications of artificial intelligence methods in the field of machining, manufacturing industry, automation and energetics. The work concludes with evaluation of methods, their advantages and disadvantages from the point of view of individual practical applications and mentions possible directions of future development.
Analysis of walking as energy source for biomedical applications
Cieslar, Filip ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper deals with measurements and statistical processing of the acceleration data measured in the area of the human head. Types, principles of biomedical applications are shown, and problems pointed to its power supply. There are efforts to earn energy from surroundings of devices and extend its lifespan. Kinetic energy harvesters require such levels of acceleration for their excitation, that could possibly be obtained from human movements. 30 different people with different characteristics were thus measured during walking in order to find the common frequencies and relevant magnitudes created through vibrations during walking. Energy efficiency is evaluated using generator and use of this source to supply biomedical devices.
