THE APPROACHES TO SEXUALITY OF PEOPLE WTH DISABILITY IN SOCIAL CARE ORGANISATION. Comparison of sexual surrogate projects in the Czech Republic and New South Wales
Janíčková, Kateřina ; Kolářová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kobová, Ĺubica (referee)
In my thesis I discuss sexuality of disabled people, the service of sexual surrogacy and the conditions which are in this sense set in social care institutions. My aim is to offer an insight into the openness of the representatives of these institutions to discuss sexuality of social care recipients. This should outline what starting position for those who provide information or practical assistance in satisfaction of sexual needs of disabled people is. Besides, I compare the situation in the Czech Republic with the situation in New South Wales. In this Australian country, there was a survey few years ago similar to the one I recently made here in the Czech Republic and I want to compare their results. New South Wales is in my thesis the example of countries where providing sexual services is legal while in the Czech republic there this way of making money lies in "grey market". The different approach to legislation of providing sexual services in my point of view and also according to the information I found out influences how people perceive the service of sexual surrogacy for disabled. Based on that, I expect the results of Australian survey and also the extent of accessibility to information and sexual surrogacy shows to be more favourable than those in the Czech Republic.
Current life of "superwomen" after primary family breakup
Hanáková, Šárka ; Kobová, Ĺubica (advisor) ; Hasmanová Marhánková, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis is dedicated to women who were called "the super women" during the communist era. Their mission was to combine their profession with taking care of their children alongside of being a housewife. Even though the traditional model of the men supporting the whole family changed to more democratic model with the both man and woman supporting the family, the housekeeping and taking care of children still stayed the wive's responsibility. In the period of communism, women were "double burdened". They dedicated their lives for their families and the free time they had, which was less then what men had, mostly corresponded with the interests of children and the whole family. In this thesis I focus on how these women live nowadays. They have already retired and after losing their partner they now live alone. I also focus on how they deal with this different life situation and changes in their social roles. I work with the theoretical approaches of emancipated femininity and active aging as a way to cope with changes in social status. I chose the qualitative approach as a research method. It is implemented in this diploma thesis by analyzing thorough interviews with widowed seniors.

This diploma thesis concerns the issue of economic autonomy of women in marriage in light of the legal institute of community property. The thesis touches upon the relationship between reproductive and productive labour in today's society and its impact on economic autonomy of women. Using the method of feminist in-depth interview, the author analyses the phenomena of allowance system, which is related to the women's exit from the labour market. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the economic autonomy of women through uncovering of mechanisms of the emergence, sustaining and rationalisation of the allowance system. The thesis' contribution stems from its analysis of the functioning of allowance system, which is specific for the control men have over family finances. As such, the allowance system deviates from the imperative of solidarity between spouses, which is legally embedded in the institute of community property. The conclusion of the thesis is that the perception of family as a solidary institution which functions on the basis of altruism is an example of ignorance of power hierarchy within families.
