The Body and Fleshliness in Olivier Clément, Louis-Marie Chauver and Jürgen Moltmann
Pařízek, Michal ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Jandejsek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the development of the relationship of the Western society towards body and corporeality by means of short insights. The insights focus on the ages of the Old Testament, Ancient Greece, the time of the first centuries and Patristics. The last two chapters of the introduction to the topic explain the approaches towards body and corporeality in Thomas Aquinas and René Descartes. The main part of the bachelor thesis interprets the views on body and corporeality in O. Clément, L. M. Chauvet and J. Moltmann. The conclusion points at a few similar approaches towards body and corporeality among the three theologians. The three approaches are also questioned and tried with respect to lives of ordinary Christians. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Sartre's Atheism
Feigl, Marek ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Kranát, Jan (referee)
Jean- Paul Sartre (1905-1980) is usually defined in the history of modern thinking as a member of atheistic existentialism. This diploma project examines mainly four philosophical works of this author in which the atheistic topic is explained with special illustrativeness. There is an attempt to grasp philosophical relevance of Sartre's atheism, its development from phenomenological relations of "Being and Nothingness" (1943) to putting forward the problem into the level of praxeology and ethics in a lecture called "Existentialism is a Humanism" (1945) and Sartre's intention to inspire reasoning of atheism by Descartes philosophical conceptions (Cartesian Freedom, 1946). At the end of his life, after experience with marxist humanism, Sartre reevaluates atheism in "Hope Now" (1980, coauthor B. Lévy). The goal of this work is to pinpoint not only discountinuity between different ways of reasoning of atheism in Sartre's works, but also possible common motives or features Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Metzov the Expression of the Dangerous Memory and its Applicaion on The History of Hidden Church in Slovakia
Murín, Jozef ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Hanuš, Jiří (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis introduces the work of the German Catholic theologian Johann Baptist Metz, especially his notion of dangerous memory, and the history of the Catholic underground church in Slovakia during the Second World War, the communist regime and after the Velvet revolution of 1989. From the perspective of Metz's theology and his notion of dangerous memory, it tries to interpret the history of the underground church as a dangerous memory for the Slovak society and for the Catholic Church itself. The appendix contains several interviews with secretly ordained priests and underground church activists, as well as a sample of original documents of the state secret police. The Relationship Between the Physical and Spiritual Life in Olivier Clément's theological anthropology
Mintálová, Pavlína ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Jandejsek, Petr (referee)
My essay explores aspects of Olivier Cléments theological anthropology; in particular the relationship between physical and spiritual life. It is primarily concerned with constitutional aspects in Clements anthropology, and shows how Berdajev's, Solovjov's, Lossky's and Evokimov's thinking influences, and manifests inself in Clements's work. The essay illustrates how the relationship between physical and spiritual life relates to a transfiguration transformation of the body and of creation, and explores how and why Clement understands the body as a "liturgical body". Attempts of Ecumenical Approach to Mary
Junasová, Gabriela ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Bauerová, Kateřina (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis Attempts of ecumenical approaches towards Mary is focusing on approaching three different attempts to speak of Mary in an historically chronological order and in various contexts. It begins in the "sixties years" of the last century (from the point of view of the reform tradition) with a book by Max Thurian (a brother of Taizé community), called "Mary, Mother of God". It continues with a book published twenty years later by two female Brazilian theologians, Ivone Gebara and Maria Clara Bingemer, which is called "Mary, Mother of God, Mother of the Poor", written from the perspective of the poor and women of Latin America. The selection is brought to an end with a contemporary work from a francophone ecumenical group Le Groupe des Dombes, called "Mary in the plan of God and in the Communion of Saints", in which they propose feasible approaches towards the conversion of churches in disputed questions relating to Mary. The Relation between Man and God in the Tehology of K. Rahner, J. Moltmann and V. Lossky
Neradová, Hana ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Bauerová, Kateřina (referee)
My work considers the relationship between human beings and God according to three theologians from different Christian traditions: Orthodox theologian V. Losský, Catholic theologian K. Rahner, and Protestant theologian J. Moltmann. In the beginning, I introduce the historical setting of their theology, and then I continue with chapters focused on the lives, scholarly work, and interpretation of the God- man relationship of these three theologians. The connecting thread through my thesis is the shared belief among these theologians that, despite the hard experience of living through World Ward II., they all insist on the divine origin of humankind which God does not take away even when people sin. Rahner's interpretation uncovers that people have an "inner sense" for transcendence - "Vorgriff", which allows him to overcome the limits of his world and to know God. And then Losský nad Moltmann reveal that the aim of human life is to be like God and to share his life and beauty. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Rethinking Theology in the 21st Century: A comparison of the Theology of the World by Richard Holloway, Rowan Williams and Slavoj Žižek
Kostková, Patricie ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Hošek, Pavel (referee)
In the 21st century we lost the previously common view of the world - we no longer seem to understand ourselves nor have a consensus on values we have in common in our society. Our views of the world and ourselves are fragmented. Anglican theologians Richard Holloway, Rowan Williams and a Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek question our fragmented reality and identify reasons for the confusion over the role of freedom and choice, love and charities, remorse and forgiveness and selfunderstanding in our society. In their theology of the world they identify a phenomenon they call either a 'social miracle', an ultimate forgiveness or agape that seems to povide an overarching force bringing together the fragments of our lives and connecting us with the general condition of humanity - the struggle for wholeness and freedom. God's Trinity from the Feminist Perspective
Knězů, Jaroslava ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Opočenská, Jana (referee)
This paper God's Trinity from the Feminist Perspective is a try to draw direction and basic contours of feminist renewal of metaphorical speech about the Holy Trinity. The author draws especially from works of Cathryne M. LaCugna and Elisabeth A. Johnson. Target of the paper is to investigate feminist starting points and inclusive images as means of reviving trinitarian faith for present time. Deconstruction of Latin trinitarian theology of Sv. Augustine and Tomas Aquinas aimed at critique of detachment of immanent and economic Trinity in their works forms a basis for reconstruction of metaphorical speech on St. Trinity in metaphors of wisdom, friendship and perichoretic relation.
