The thesis concentrates on the network infrastructure problems , its proposal in the civil service area and analyses in detail the present condition of surroundings in the chosen organisation which requirements and needs for the suggested network infrastructure result from subsequently . On the base of the analysis it considers the posibility of realising the network infrastructure which consists in the choice of the suitable technology and the proposal of the computer network structure , including the implementation the solution in the given organisation and the specification of the financing resources.

The thesis focuses on a proposal of making maintenance and control of a small hydroelectric power station more effective. It is adjusted to the concrete situation and contains a selection of management, suitable technology, design of network infrastructure and description of an active element configuration with an appropriate proposition of financing. Then the final directions for installation and usage of a remote control system of the power station are presented as the result of this thesis.

This cabling system must improve nowadays situation in the administration building and simultaneously has to make possible reserves for following enlargement of computing equipment. This cabling system must be also variable in case of possible rebuilding offices. In the master’s thesis, there are described processes whose aim is an optimal solution, to suggested cabling system.

Designing of a Fiber Optic Network for Connecting Blocks of Flats in Kojetín

The subject of this diploma's thesis is to create a design of a fiber optic network, which will allow an access to broadband internet connection for households living in blocks of flats in Kojetín. For this purpose the best technologies will be compared by analysis and the new network topology will be designed. The investor is a civic association Cyrilek.net that provides a wireless internet at this area. The best solution will be selected on the basis of financial and technical analysis and the investment will be calculated including its return. This innovation not only give people a really fast internet connection, but also the possibility of other services such as IPTV or VoIP.

It also describes individual areas of information technologies and their advantages. Finally, it focuses on selecting the most suitable technology with the assessment of its economic benefit for the company.

The present status, company demands and the brief summary of available technologies for proposed solution have been described. The optimal option for the company has been chosen. Current company costs have been analyzed and savings solution for both monthly costs for maintaining the network and purchasing cost for computer technology itself.
