Minor mothers in the Romani communities

The bachelor thesis "Minor mothers in the Romani communities" addresses the phenomenon of minor mothers in the traditional Romani community. More generally, the demographic behavior of the Romanies is analyzed, and discussed with respect to the overall demographic data valid for the population of the Czech Republic. This thesis and its conclusions are based on the author's own research performed in Poschlá, a suburb of the city of Vsetín. The Romani community in Vsetín is introduced, including notes on its history. It is pointed out that the community still exhibits remarkable respect to the outstanding role of the typical extended family structure, which significantly influences the demographic behavior of the community. The author also notes fundamental differences concerning the mean lifespan of the Romanies versus the majority population, by which the typical early timing and extension of the female reproduction period can be explained naturally. Such conclusions are justified by the author's own research dealing with three overlapping generations of the Romani mothers in Vsetín, with focus on their age at the time of their first delivery. The thesis also discusses various aspects of social work and its efficiency regarding the issues related to minor mothers and their families.

Tato práce by měla tvořit jakýsi přehled současné situace, týkající se seniorů, nevyhnula jsem se v ní reflexi současné situace i předpokládaným demografickým projekcím a aktuální situaci seniorů v oblasti sociálního zabezpečení v ČR. Považuji za důležité zmínit i to, jak jsou senioři vnímáni většinovou společností a jak jsou dnes chápány pojmy stárnutí a stáří. To že jsou, stejně tak jako v ostatních věkových kohortách, velké interindividuální rozdíly, také nelze opominout. Cílem práce je předložit závěry několika provedených výzkumů, které se tématu sdružování seniorů dotýkají a interpretovat jejich výsledky.

The Principles of Gratuity and Nonprofit in Social Services in Czech Republic

This work targets the theoretical concept of social services system, which is based on the free market's principles and delimitated the regulation role of the state. The work targets the economical aspects of social services system and brings new views of financial flow in the system. Further, the work aims these services, where stay the client as an customer or submitter of the service. The general part reflects the current system of social services (1. chapter), which is based on relatively exacting state regulation and on the subvention system. Financial flows in the system are jumble now, there are combined the client pays and the state subventions without legal claim. Due to the providers cannot create long term strategy of social services development. Further, the subvention system disadvantages any legal forms of providers (NGO's, firms and providers out of the mode of social services' act. The first chapter brings a comparing in the European context. The second and the third chapter bring concept of free market system of social services. The work is based on information about the foreign community or senior centres which offer a number of services and programmes to their clients. The text stresses above social political context of potential leisure time centre for seniors inclulding budget design for the first and others years. The work is divided in six chapters. The first five chapters give definition of target group - seniors, social environment which they live in and topic of active ageing, volunteering and general social political context. The last chapter focuses on the particular form of potential leisure centre for seniors, including budget design and funding.

Vize je definována jako vidění vztahující se k budoucímu, resp. vzdálenému, vnímání nedostupnému. Je výsledkem schopnosti předvídat nebo živě si něco představovat, vybavovat. Realita oproti tomu představuje věcnost, skutečné bytí něčeho (věci, podstaty aneb jen vlastnosti), tedy skutečnost proti toliko pomyšlenému (idealitě). V oblasti dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti České republiky je jednou z vizí naplňování cílů Evropské strategie zaměstnanosti, a v této souvislosti pak snaha o její minimalizaci. Úplné odstranění dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti je představou nereálnou. Realitou zůstává, že počet dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných v ČR je ve srovnání s ostatními členskými státy Evropské unie stále vysoký. V podmínkách českého trhu práce, v souvislosti s dlouhodobou nezaměstnaností je také realitou, že stále existují lidé, kteří chtějí být dlouhodobě nezaměstnanými. Výrazné propojení trhu práce se sociálním systémem je nutné z toho důvodu, že dnes fungují v nerovnováze. Stále se velkému množství lidí vyplatí využívat sociálních dávek, aniž by byli nuceni aktivnějším přístupem svoji situaci řešit. Systém musí být více motivující, pracovní trh je stále málo pružný. Výše uvedené skutečnosti, vlastní poznatky a zkušenosti nabyté v souvislosti s problematikou dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti, mne přivedly k rozhodnutí, věnovat se...

Means of subsistence of Roma women from socially excluded locations in Liberec

The thesis deals with the issue of social exclusion and unemployment in general including its causes and consequences in relation to Roma women. In detail it focuses on various aspects of their lifestyle including its traditional forms as well as current lifestyle varieties. The aim of the thesis is to search for answers to the key question which strategies do Roma women utilise in socially excluded locations in order to obtain means for their subsistence and what are the roots of these strategies. The introductory part deals with theoretical background of the area - i.e. the concept of social exclusion, unemployment, the position of Roma people in the Czech society and their subsistence strategies. The empirical part presents the results of qualitative research as well as the interpretation of these results. It analyses the subsistence strategies of Roma women and points out certain shortcomings in their employment, access to illicit employment and dependence on social benefits.

Effect of physical exercise on movement response selection

Název práce: Vliv tělesného zatížení na výběr pohybové odpovědi v herních situacích (na příkladu fotbalu) Title of Study: Effect ofPhysical Loading on Movement Response Selection in Game Situation (with special reference to the football) Cíl práce:. Cílem je zkoumání vlivu tělesného zatížení na výběr pohybové odpovědi v herních situacích. Práce je příspěvkem k rozšíření poznatků o vlivu tělesného zatížení na taktické jednání ve sportovních hrách. Metoda: Hlavním plánem výzkumu bylo experimentální šetření, ve kterém byl sledován výkon ve výběru pohybové odpovědi na statické herní situace po předchozím tělesném zatížení. Výkon v rozhodování byl hodnocen podle rychlosti a přesnosti pohybové odpovědi. Tělesné zatížení jako experimentální faktor byl navozen stupňovaným intermitentním zátěžovým testem. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo sedm jedinců ve věku 16 - 18 let trénujících fotbal. Výsledky: Studie naznačila, že tělesné zatížení ovlivňuje výběr pohybové odpovědi v presentovaných herních situacích. Zajímavý závěr studie ukázal, že při vyšším tělesném zatížení narůstá počet nevhodných odpovědí na herní situace, ale zároveň se zkracuje doba výběrové rekce. Na základě studie lze vyřknout hypotézu, že v důsledku únavy po vyšším tělesném zatížení mají jedinci tendenci vybírat odpověď s vyšší mírou rizikovosti než...

Ensure of individual in traditional village comunity

The thesis deals with the topic of securing individuals in different contexts. In the first charter the social structure of a village is introduced. The particular position of a local community member influenced his/her opportunities of financial securing, rights and responsibilities. Next the work deals with relationships within the village community and in the line of the ruler, the nobility and villeins. Different strategies of the civil service are also presented. Finally three ways of securing an individual are described - financial security after entering into a marriage, provision after retirement, the right of heritage and final settlement.
