Musical in the Czech Republic after 1989

The diploma work Musical in the Czech Republic after 1989 explores different forms of staging both world and czech musicals after during 1989 ? 2008. In the first chapter the author analyses differents components of the genre ? the book, music, song and dance and points out basic theoretic criteria for reviewing musical performances. The merit of the work is in the sedond chapter which presents analyses of chosen performances after 1989. With this analysis, the author establish variable forms of musical theater in the Czech Republic and point out its main problems. In the third part of the work, the author critically reflects ger own production and direction of graduation performance in theater DISK ? a musical based on a same name novel of Emile Zola Ladie´s Paradise (musical radical)

HISTORICIZATION AND ACTUALISATION AS TWO OPPOSITE APPROACHES TO PRODUCTION OF CLASSICAL DRAMATIZATION IN CONTEMPORARY THEATRE

This thesis is focused on the term great classic theatre (or high drama). It is understood as a spoken theatre based on a very aestheticizing dramatic text (poetic drama) that deal with the deeper problems, values and men´s world opinion. The theatre is approached as a social, moral and educational platform. The thesis tries to name the phenomenon of great drama and it also tries to research the possibilities how to stage the dramatic text of the great drama in modern theatre. There are two different conventions - convention of scening at the time of text origin and convention of scening in contemporary theatre. In other words every production must be also an adaptation. It always tries to improve contents of dramatic text. There are two ways how to adept classical text of high drama. If we strengthen the mythological value of drama, we adept text by historical principle. On the other hand if we transfer text to the modern social situation, we continue the adaptation by the actualizational principle. The first part of this thesis tries to describe these facts. The second part applies these facts on concrete practical example of staging of the Czech dramatic text of the high drama. Characterization of adaptation of Hippodamie, written by Jaroslav Vrchlicky, demonstrates that even though we approach the scening of dramatic text of high drama from the historicizational point of view and thus from the point of view of eternity, in some way we touch present problems at the same time. Historicization and actualisation present as two sides of one coin.

The evolution of main protagonists of Vaclav Havel's dramatic works

The thesis aims to describe the development of main characters featured in the most important plays of Václav Havel from the 1963-1985 period (Garden Party, The Memorandum, The Increased Difficulty of Concentration, Audience, Unveiling, Protest, Largo Desolato and Temptation). The introduction accurately defines the focus of this work as well as the methodology used, which is based on literary and dramatic analysis. Considering the fact that no clear definition of the term "main character" exists, the introduction also describes a method of his/her selection. Each section dedicated to a specific play first elaborates on the story of the play's main character, and continues with the detailed analysis of the main dramatic character as a fictional literary subject. Summarizing the conducted research, the thesis concludes with a statement that the development of the characters is a continuous process - not just absorptive, but rather gradually ontogenetic.

Specifics of student theater

This thesis qualifies basic borders of the conception of student theatre. To qualify three basic categories we use presence or absence of theatre education. These categories are defined in the thesis. Also the view is taken to the standards which help to section the student theatre. Categorization according to age of the members of theatre companies is refused, as there are examples which are beside of such dividing. Also the specifics and charakteristics common to divided categories are mentioned. The thesis analyses extents of artistic work in theatre played by children and adults. The thesis observes the benefits of the student theatre to its members and surroundings. The aim of this thesis is to set up the base for next exploring of the main trends of theatre played by students and surveying activities of student theatre companies.

The Roaming Regulation

This diploma thesis examines the issue of the roaming regulation. The goal was to find out whether it had been necessary to regulate roaming prices at the EU level and what consequences it has and will have for individuals in the market - especially consumers, mobile operators, politicians, and also for the single European market. The basic hypothesis is that the roaming regulation will ultimately lead to a reduction in consumer utility, and therefore there is no substantial improvement to the single European market. The first part describes current developments in the roaming regulation and presents arguments for and against regulation. The second part then discusses the presented arguments. The impact on various market players is examined using the available data.

Analysis of relevant markets in electronic communications

Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést zhodnocení analýzy relevantních trhů elektronických komunikací. V úvodu bylo popsáno rozdělení trhů v oboru elektronických komunikací podle tzv. Nového Regulačního Rámce Elektronických Komunikací (NRREK). Jedná se o 18 relevantních trhů, které byly určeny Evropskou komisí. V další části analýzy je uvedena obecná definice relevantního trhu a následuje úvaha, zda je těchto 18 relevantních trhů opravdu relevantních. Úvaha se opírá o příklady na trzích připojení k internetu, trhu hlasových služeb a trhu distribuce TV signálu. Úvaha také využívá zdroje Českého telekomunikačního úřadu a Úřadu na ochranu hospodářské soutěže. Poslední část této práce přináší závěr, tedy zodpovězení otázky, zda si všech 18 relevantních trhů elektronických komunikací opravdu zaslouží přívlastek relevantní.

Intellectual Property - Case of Information Technology

This theses analyses necessity and legitimacy of existence of intellectual property rights, especially patents and copyrights. There is shown the true essence of these instruments as monopoly privilege. On case of information technology I demonstrate that these privileges are unreasonable and counterproductive in many cases. Analysis of ?free software? alternative model proves that use of patents and copyrights is not a necessary condition of creation of intangible goods. The last part of this work shows, that existence of any special instruments for intangible goods protection is not needed as well as it is not reasonable.

Regulation and public projects of internet access in Czech republic

Práce analyzuje trh internetového připojení a jeho regulaci v České republice. Po zhodnocení vývoje tohoto síťového odvětví a jeho regulace od roku 1989 se autor zaměřil na popsání a analýzu specifik české struktury trhu internetového připojení. V poslední části práce se autor pokusil představit model vysvětlující jeden z pohledů na neefektivnost veřejného financování nebo dotování projektů internetového připojení. S pomocí tohoto modelu a po analýze ekonomických charakteristik statku internetového připojení autor došel k závěru, že neexistuje důvod pro veřejného financování nebo dotování této služby i přesto, že je internetové připojení spojeno se silnou síťovou externalitou. Na příkladu veřejného projektu internetového připojení v MČ Praha 5 bylo prokázáno, že v krátkém období jsou sice soukromé náklady mnohem vyšší než náklady společenské, nicméně v delším období začnou, z důvodu zaostávání technologie, růst oportunitní náklady času jednotlivých uživatelů a společenské náklady převýší náklady soukromé.

Diplomová práce se zabývá procesem deregulace trhu s elektřinou v ČR. V teoretické části zkoumá příčiny a důsledky regulace síťových odvětví pomocí názorů různých ekonomických směrů. Dále se soustřeďuje na současný trh s elektřinou v ČR, a to hlavně na změny cen elektrické energie pro koncové zákazníky a další trendy v budoucím vývoji energetické politiky EU.

Vzťah klientov a poskytovateľov bankových produktov v ČR

Diplomová práca ČR hodnotí situáciu na českom bankovom trhu a reaguje na súčasné otázky týkajúce sa bankového sektoru. Práca vnáša pohľad na problematiku ochrany bankového klienta a na reguláciu bankového trhu. Taktiež hodnotí jednotlivé prístupy k potrebnosti regulatívnych zásahov na trhu bankových produktov a porovnáva argumentácie jednotlivých názorových strán. Posledná časť práce analyzuje hlavné ukazovatele bankového sektoru a v rámci medzinárodného porovnania cien bankových produktov hodnotí pozíciu ČR.
