Automatized Data Abstraction
Novotná, Lenka ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Adámek, Jiří (referee)
Model checking belongs to one of the most favourite techniques for verification of software systems. During the verification process of model checking, the whole state space of the given system is traversed. However, the state space of software systems can be huge and thus it is not possible to traverse it in reasonable amount of time. This problem is called "state explosion problem" and it can be solved using a method of abstraction that creates an abstract program from the concrete one by mapping the concrete data to abstract data. The abstract program covers all the behavior of the concrete program that is necessary for verification, but has significantly smaller state space which allows its verification in reasonable amount of time. This work is concerned in automatized data abstraction. Three known methods for automatized data abstraction are described and compared to each other. Based on these methods a new method for automatized data abstraction of object oriented programs is designed.
Study of human pepsin phosphorylation
Novotná, Lenka
Novotná L.: Abstract of Ph.D. Thesis Protein phosphorylation is one of the most important post-translational modifications in nature. The process of protein phosphorylation/dephosphorylation regulates almost all cellular processes and plays a key role in the maintaining of cell homeostasis. Abnormal phosphoryla- tion is associated with many serious human diseases including cancers. The phosphorylation of main gastric aspartic proteases pepsins and their precursors varies among animal species. Pepsins and pepsinogens of several species contain phosphate groups, while others have no phosphate groups. Phosphorylation of human pepsins and pepsinogens is probably associated with different gastric diseases. Gastric cancer patients show higher phos- phorylation degree of pepsinogens compared to healthy subjects. To utilize this finding for diagnostic purposes, it is requisite to elaborate simple and reliable methods for the study of pepsin and pepsinogen phosphorylation, which could be applied to limited sample amounts. This thesis focuses on the elaboration of appropriate methodical approach for the study of protein phosphorylation, particularly phosphorylation of human pepsins, which are characte- rized by a very low content of basic amino acid residues and a higher content of acidic amino acid residues. The...
Quality of the life in patients with chronic renal failure treated by haemodialysis during exercise intervention period
Novotná, Lenka ; Chalupová, Eva (referee) ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor)
Title: Quality of the life in patients with chronic renal failure treated by haemodialysis during exercise intervention period. Introduction: Quality of life has become very discussed idea also in medicine in last ten years. The life of man is prolonged owing to the modern medicine. It does not go on to live at longest, but the most quality too. WHO advances a definition: "quality of life presents an individual relation of man to his own life goals, expectation value systems and interests in cultural, social and environmental context". In spite of it does not exist a definition, which is accepted in general. In present the study of quality of life presents the searching and identification of factors which add a good and meaningful life, the sense of a human happiness and a research of their mutual relations. Aim: To evaluate six months period of a regular exercise program on quality of patient's life with chronic renal failure. Methods: We studied a composite group of hemodialysis patients from three dialysis centres in Prague, Karlovy Vary and Pardubice. There were measured 46 patients in a mean age 64,3 ± 13,9 years. The assessment of quality of life was performed twice, before and after six months of regular exercise program. The questionnaires WHOQOL- BREF and KDQOL including generic part SF-36...
Public health insurance and its new legislative conception in the Czech legal order
Novotná, Lenka ; Císařová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Sovová, Olga (referee)
This thesis is focused on current public health insurance system in Czech Republic and its possible future changes according to the proposals of the present government. The term "public health insurance" does not necessarily imply that the system is administered by public body (or bodies); it rather refers to the fact that the health insurance scheme in Czech Republic is designed to be a social and mandatory system based on solidarity of insured and plurality of health insurers. All members of the system are regularly contributing according to their possibilities. Their contribution is monthly redistributed among health insurance companies according to the risk adjustment scheme. That ensures that the health insurers get more money for diseased insured and so they don't have motivation to risk selection. As a result, all diseased should be getting every health care they need. Such systems are also often called statutory health insurance schemes. Nowadays, Czech Republic faces several problems related to this area. Czech health insurers are owned neither by the state, nor by anyone else. That brings a lot of uncertainty into the system, because there is no one responsible for the economic results of health insurance companies. As a result of that, a huge amount of financial resources is spent needlessly. On...

Processing and properties of porous bioceramic materials
David, Jakub ; Ručková, Jana (referee) ; Novotná, Lenka (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the study of bioceramic porous materials. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first part describes biomaterials, their division and use in bone tissue engineering. The second part deals with the requirements of bioceramic support systems (scaffolds). The third section describes methods for the porous structures production. The effort of the practical part was to prepare by method of direct foaming bioceramic porous materials based on calcium phosphate. It studied mainly the affect of the suspension composition on the final properties of the synthesized material. Morphology of materials was also evaluated using scanning electron microscopy. Degradability of materials in simulated body fluid was tested in terms of biological properties.
Building contract management in the management and maintenance of roads
