Free Software and Cooperation as a Course for Development of Czech Librarianship
Jansa, Václav ; Nič, Miloslav (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee)
The dissertation focuses on the use of free software in Czech libraries. Both real practice and librarians' attitudes to this type of software are analyzed. The main goal of the dissertation has been to evaluate the attitudes of Czech libraries to free software, to analyze its use in practice, to design information and communications strategy for free software project and to implement it using Evergreen as an example project. In order to achieve the goals, both qualitative and quantitative research methods have been used. These included a survey, web data gathering and analysis and also case studies. The devised and implemented information and communications strategy consists of eight main parts (setting up a local community, creating communication tools, organizing seminars, Czech localization, the creation of first common catalogues, making documentation publicly available, active involvement in the international community and establishing a legal entity to improve awareness about free software among librarians) which are complemented with a SWOT analysis evaluating the strategy implementation.

Evolutionary Design of Boolean Functions for Cryptography
Dvořák, Jan ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Husa, Jakub (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to compare various selection methods used in cartesian genetic programming applied to a problem of various types of cryptographically significant boolean functions. I focused on these selection methods: evolutionary strategies (1+lambda) and (1,lambda), tournament selection and roulette selection. The chosen problem was solved by an implementation of CGP with the above-mentioned selection methods and by a statistical evaluation of data acquired from conducted experiments. Evaluation of mentioned data has shown that the best results in case of bent functions were achieved while using (1+lambda) evolutionary strategy. The roulette selection performed the best in case of balanced functions with high nonlinearity.
Pseudo-differential higher-order frequency filters
Jeleček, Jiří ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Sládok, Ondřej (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with pseudo-differential frequency higher order filters working in voltage mode. The thesis deals with the description of frequency filters, their types and applications. Follows an analysis of differential and pseudo-differential transmissions. Next part contains a description of used active elements (conveyors) at thesis (CCII, DVCC, DDCC, UCC). In the last part the thesis is devoted to the own design of the pseudo-differential filter. Design functionality is verified by experimental simulation.
Aerial platform for flight time measurements
Schneider, Tibor ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis elaborates on creating a mathematical model and realisation of a flying platform. Consequently, it compares results from the mathematical model which simulates flight duration with results which were measured with constructed flying platform. In the first part of the thesis, flying platforms are introduced and also the usability range and what types exist. Matlab was chosen as a language to create the script. In the second part, principle of the matematical model is explained, graphs which explain power influence in UAV movement are presented. There are time dependences of hovering time on different UAV weight, flight distance or outside environment temperature. In the end, there is final comparison of theoretical calculations with measured time values. According to the calculations and measurments, it is more optimal to fly with a speed of 4m/s rather than 1m/s. According to the calculations, distance of 1000m was on the limit, therefore, the measurments were conducted within the range of 600m.
Device for measuring fluid level

1 Rights from defective performance in consumer contracts Abstract This diploma thesis deals with rights from defective performance in consumer contracts, with both the general regulation of the rights of defective performance in the contract between the entrepreneur and the consumer, as well as the specific rights of defective performance in this contract in the case of the purchase contract and contract for work. The thesis contains definitions of the basic subjects of consumer law, as well as legal terms, which are often associated with the application of legal rules of consumer law. Such terms are defective performance, as well as individual types of defects, or even the disputed warranty under the law or voluntary contractual guarantees provided by the seller. This thesis deals in detail with the rights of defective performance, which belongs to the buyer in case of conclusion of the purchase contract. A special focus is given to the special subsection of civil code on the sale of goods in the shop. The part of this thesis is also the definition of the term of complaint, the exercise of the right from defective performance in terms of its content, manner or form, or the work also represents the persons entitled or compulsory to complain. The thesis also solves problems with proper application of the...

Donation mortis causa Abstract Inheritance law, in its broader concept donation mortis causa falls, is being referred to as the hearth of civil law since it interconnects both proprietary (contractual) and personal (family) aspects. Czech civil law recodification meant significant change of inheritance law legislation, including renaissance of wide range of legal institutions including donation mortis causa. This thesis aims to comprehensively and critically assess legal regulation of donation mortis causa in the Czech Civil Code. The emphasis is primarily put on problematic aspects of this regulation. The submitted thesis endeavours to find answer to the question of practical usability of the donation mortis causa. Its author attempts to provide a reasonable interpretation of provisions of lex lata concerning the subject matter of this thesis. The solution of the most serious legislative problems is proposed within the summary of the submitted text. As for the structure, this diploma thesis is divided into six parts, with each part being split in chapters and sub-chapters.
