Fault Injection for Web-Services
Žouželka, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This document is especially aimed at web services technologies and testing them using fault injection methods. The work deals with Service-Oriented Architecture, used as a standard for web service implementation, and with software testing in general. Practical part of the project includes the design and realization of a tool, which is able to test the most common types of web services according to setup criteria. To demonstrate its functionality, some of the sample and public web services were tested.
Interactive Web Page Design Environment
Moravec, Jaroslav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis describes an environment for creation and management of interactive web pages. It deals with both the structure design and the visual part. The basic idea is that the page consists of individual elements that can be arbitrarily composed together. There exist several kinds of such elements: interactive, content, database and informative elements. Furthermore, the environment includes tools for account management, access control, database administration, auditing, multilanguage support and some more.
Specifications Database of Security Protocols
Ondráček, David ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
Original protocols, which were created during early development of computer networks, no longer provide sufficient security. This is the reason why new protocols are developed and implemented. The important component of this process is formal verification, which is used to analyze the developed protocols and check whether a successful attack is possible or not. This thesis presents selected security protocols and tools for their formal verification. Further, the selected protocols are specified in LySa calculus and results of their analysis using LySatool are presented and discussed.
Unified Software Database for RPM Based Systems
Všechny tyto nástroje si udržují informace o nainstalovaném softwaru, a proto si každý z nich spravuje vlastní databázi s redundantními metadaty o balíčcích. Záměrem této práce je analyzovat úložné prostory, identifikovat případy užití správců balíčků v distribuci Fedora a následně navrhnout a implementovat jednotnou cen- trální softwarovou databázi na systému.
An Application Utilizing esmska Plugins for Sending SMS Messages via Web Gateways
Marton, Dominik ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a console application, that utilizes esmska JavaScript modules to enable sending SMS messages from inside of user scripts via web gateways without CAPTCHA security plugin, and of a web service with REST interface making this application accessible remotely. Both are primarily made with the purpose of running on network devices with OpenWrt operating system while trying to minimise memory consumption. The whole solution is written in C with the help of libcurl library, embedded JavaScript interpreter Duktape and standard C library uClibc.
Implementation of External Authentication Modules for nginx
Kameníčková, Petra ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the process of design and development of authentication modules for nginx web server. These modules are used for enrollment of nginx-based applications and services into FreeIPA environment. The first part of the thesis explains the basics of FreeIPA and nginx architectures and principles of Kerberos and PAM authentication mechanisms as well. The second part of the thesis solves the practical problems - existing Apache modules analysis, nginx design description and implementation details. The last part describes confi guration requirements and possible enhancements.
A Stock Management System with an e-Shop Integration
Farník, Filip ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns the introduction to the problem of a stock management, analysing stored data and ongoing processes in Knihy&Škola company. Furthermore it concerns the development of a suitable data model and the implementation of an information system which is connected to an e-shop. In the final part the thesis contains a discussion concerning possible further development of the system. The information system is based on the web technology and it is employed in trial run in Knihy&Škola company.
Analysis of Private Information from FAT32
Križan, Lukáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create an application which can search for and recover specific files in the file system FAT32, and subsequently extract sensitive information from these files. The first part of this thesis describes the principles underlying FAT32, and focuses on how the analysed applications store information. The second part outlines the application and describes its implementation and simulations.
Application for the Data Processing in the Area of Evolutionary Biology
Radakovič, Lukáš ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis describes the design and implementation of the application that has the task to verify the accuracy of the algorithm. Purpose of the algorithm is to analyze mechanisms used in the creation of the phylogenetic tree. The application allows users to specify different parameters of phylogenetic tree, its generation and subsequent analysis using an algorithm. Results of the analysis are written to the output file, giving the user the option of setting file path. Studied algorithm correctly estimates the participation of specific mechanism in the tree formation. Estimates of the absolute and relative share of changes in chromosome number and genome size are less than accurate results.
Automated Web Application Vulnerability Detection
Koláček, František ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Tato práce si dává za cíl analyzovat a porovnat implementaci již existujících open source scannerů webových zranitelností ( pomocí nástrojů Wivet a Wavsep ) a na základě této analýzy navrhnout a implementovat efektivnější způsob testování jednotlivých skupin útoku do open source scanneru Revok .
