Asian automotive industry: the impact on the European market

The aim of my thesis is to describe the automotive industries of the most significant countries in the Asian region. The whole thesis is focused on passenger cars. The thesis is focused on the following countries: Japan, South Korea, China and India. Another aim is to analyze the impact of selected auto makers from these countries to the European market. One of the aims is also introduction of the future trends in the Asian automotive industry, related to Europe. The last aim is to determinate when the Chinese automaker will belong to the world's car manufacturers.
EU Energy Security and Relations with Russia

The main objective of this dissertation is to research the interconnectivity of energy security of the European Union and its relations with Russia. Achieving this goal entails an analysis of the current situation in the EU energy security in the context of its import dependence on Russian energy sources and an outline of the future development of strategic partnership between the EU and Russia in the energy field. The dissertation is divided into five logically arranged chapters. The first chapter provides the theoretical background, the concept of the energy security and methodological researching tools. The second chapter provides an overview of the current state of the global and the European energy industries as a basis for the evaluation of the energy security. The second chapter is also focused on the EU legislative framework concerning energy system. The third chapter deals with analysis of the energy security of the individual sectors and levels of the energy system by determining risk factors and measures to limit their impact. The fourth chapter examines the energy sector of Russia in terms of its impact on the EU energy security. The final fifth chapter outlines scenarios for the future of the EU energy security in the context of relations with Russia.

The Master thesis "Importance of LNG in the Global Economy and its Geopolitical Impacts" describes the market with liquefied natural gas and the importance of developing this technology for the global energy market. It analyzes the LNG market and compares it with other energy markets and other energy commodities, especially in terms of financial costs associated with shipping. Also captures the historical context and predictions that accompanied the development of LNG. It focuses on the impact of LNG on isolated gas prices in various regional markets. The thesis also deals with the impact of geopolitical development of LNG. As is reflected in the issue of energy security. Describes who profits from the LNG boom, what threatens other producers of energy resources LNG and how it will develop in the future market.
Economy of contemporary Czech hunting within European Union

The master thesis deals with evaluation of the economic status of hunting in the Czech Republic within European Union. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first part is focused on economic-theoretical approaches in relation to hunting, defines basic terms and outlines the most important legislative regulations. The component is also the issue of the valuation of wildlife in the Czech Republic in comparison with neighbour states. The second chapter is about legislative regulations, programmes and policies of the European Union in relation to hunting. In this part there are listed the most important organizations and their influence on game management in the Czech Republic. The final chapter is devoted to evaluation of game management in the Czech Republic according to profits and costs. This section evaluates the status of the most important species of wildlife in the Czech Republic with the reference to main problems and their possible solutions. The component of this part is the case study focusing on the management of the Hunting Association Chotěbudice.
Natural gas in the world economy with a focus on new trends in the EU

This bachelor thesis deals with natural gas and its importance for the world economy. The thesis focuses on new trends in the EU which mainly relate to shale gas and the transportation of natural gas. The first chapter characterizes generally natural gas, its origin and its way from a reservoir to a consumer. It also analyzes the controversial extraction of shale gas. The second chapter focuses on individual regions and leading countries in production, consumption, export and import of natural gas. It also describes natural gas reserves and transportation and the world's biggest gas companies. The third chapter, which deals with countries of the EU, contains the same subheads as the previous chapter. Moreover, it describes the development of the EU energy policy.

Global terrorism and its impact on oil trading

The goal of this thesis is to describe the theory of international relations, terrorism and the influence of terrorism on the international trade with oil. Three terrorist attacks were chosen for the purpose of this thesis: the September 11th, 2001 attacks in the United States, the Madrid bombings on March 11th, 2004 and the London bombings of July 7th, 2005. This thesis analyzes the influence of each of the attacks on oil prices and oil trade in the countries affected by these attacks.
Crop production in the world with a focus on cereals and oilseeds

The aim of this master thesis is to analyse the current trends in production , consumption and trade in cereals and oilseeds. Furthermore, the work seeks to highlight the ever growing importance of these two groups of crop production. It also addresses the issue of declining growth in global agricultural production in relation to the growing population and the factors that affect the price of agricultural commodities. The entire work is conceived in three main chapters. The first provides a particular theoretical framework and includes definitions, localisation factors and many other basic data. The second chapter focuses on crop production in the world and its trends, paying particular attention to the group of cereals and oilseeds. Finally, the last chapter analyzes the world trade in cereals and oilseeds. It also examines the factors affecting prices of agricultural commodities and concludes prediction of the future development of the cereals and oilseeds sectors.
Competitivness of Czech republic in the sphere of innovation

Diploma thesis devotes itself to the topic competitiveness in the sphere of innovation. First part approaches the topic by description of knowledge-based economy and the perception of the changing approach to human capital. Second part evaluates performance in innovation and identifies markers according to which originated the results. By the method of comparative analysis were evaluated other countries Sweden and Israel in order to identify the weaknesses of the Czech Republic in this area. The final part describes programs that help to develop innovative entrepreneurship and also several own suggestions, which could lead to an improvement of the current situation.
