My bachelor thesis points at the application of Bayes methods during the decision making and moreover is interested in general types of investments and their advantages and disadvantages. The output of my thesis is the portfolio of materials used for three possible investments, specifically for gold investments, funds and agricultural lands during three economical conditions of the world - during recession, stagnation and growth. The model will be furthemore entered by expert's accurate estimation of possibilities that one or another condition of the world will happen. Apart from this, results will be compared with the variation of decision making during the uncertainty and thanks to this, we will demonstrate the difficulties of this method. My thesis ends with the presentation of methods which develop the process and specify the groundwork for decision making.

The thesis is focused on Czech and foreign detection solutions. The aim of the application part is to determine to what extent the software tool is able to detect plagiarism in text documents. For this purpose, the Czech system Theses.cz was used, in which were analysed several artificially created plagiarisms. In the conclusion, there are discussed results of verification of the effectiveness.
Software for visualizing data on a Microsoft platform compared to available open source products

My thesis deals with comparison with Business Intelligence software for data visualization for Microsoft platform to selected open source product. The aim of my thesis is to find visualization software that is suitable for small company and firm can handle visualization by itself. At first there is introduction to issues of Business Intelligence following description of visualization resources of Microsoft platform, specifically Excel, Power View, Power Map and Reporting. Subsequently open source software was chosen that is able to compete with visualization products of Microsoft platform specifically CDE Dashboard from Pentaho platform. There are compared chosen products via proposed scenario and evaluated standards. Finally there are evaluated suitability of individual software for data visualization.
Bayesian Approach in Managerial Decision Making
Mošna, Ondřej ; Bína, Vladislav (advisor) ; Váchová, Lucie (referee)
This diploma thesis is about Bayesian approach in managerial decision making process. The goal is not only to quantify the principals used by managers during decision making in real situations but also the application of Bayesian methods on given examples. The mentioned principals are the probability updates after gaining a new information. In thesis are also described the computer systems which work with Bayesian calculations and a chosen system is described in detail. In a practical part of this thesis is demonstrated the use of Bayesian principals in real decision making situations -- there is demonstrated the use of Bayesian games, Bayesian networks (both classic and dynamic) and risk decision making process.

Modeling and analysis of multi-level reward systems
Berit, Jaroslav ; Zelená, Veronika (advisor) ; Váchová, Lucie (referee)
This thesis is solving the issue of modeling and analysis of multi-level reward systems. The main goal is to design a solution that allows the development and testing of multi-level reward systems. The solution is based on the simulation of a dynamics reward system and the subsequent statistical analysis. The solution uses quantitative tools for simulation modeling and statistical analysis. The proposed solution eliminates the shortcomings of existing approaches, which are based strictly on methods of mathematical analysis. This invention makes possible the capture of not only the characteristics and functioning of the reward system, but also its stability and security. The output data are suitable for control and management decisions in firms that uses complex reward systems.
