This bachelor thesis focuses on the ethical side of plagiarism in text documents. In the first part defines the basic concepts in order to introduce issues of plagiarism. There is also described the field of the citations and ethics. The practical part deals with two main tasks. The first is ethical research among students of Faculty of Management, University of Economics in Prague. The goal is to enrich and repeat already once conducted research. The second task is devoted to codes of ethic and codes of conduct. By comparing ethical principles of prestigious universities such as Harvard, Berkeley, Yale and others, I would like to find the identical points of these codes. On this basis, I will try to suggest points that should contain the appropriate code for the Faculty of Management. I will not leave out the Czech universities.
