Host care in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis is focused on host care in the Czech Republic. The first chapter deals with attachment and its explanation. The second chapter describes alternative care in the Czech Republic. The list of alternative care forms and types of institutional care are included in this part. The third chapter is focused on host care and its legislative framework, forms, advantages, risks and the process of host care mediation. In the fourth chapter there are introduced specific examples of host care. The fifth chapter describes the survey methodology focused on host care. The sixth chapter contains thequestionnaire survey assessment. To define the issue, the author uses specialized literature aimed at substitutional family care and host care, Czech laws (i.e. Social-legal protection of the children law, Civil code, the law of institutional care accomplishment). She also derives from websites occupied by host care, such as civic association Děti patří domů, The Centre for Adoption and Foster Care. The aim is to verify theoretical facts followed from specialized sources and the description of host care in the Czech Republic.
Anonymity as a Special Issue of a Chat Crisis Intervention

The main topic of this thesis is crisis intervention that is focused on the topic crisis intervention. As a specific feature that is associated with this phenomenon is anonymity. Anonymity includes both theoretical part and a practical part. For this thesis are used domestic resources and foreign resources. Rich source of information are students' thesis that frequently deal with this topic. The practical part consists of a qualitative research focused on a semi-structured questionnaire with workers on a child helpline - Linka bezpečí. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how anonymity affects the communication with the client from the perspective of consultants of Linka bezpečí.
The Impacts of Legalized Prostitution in Germany

The goal of this master's thesis is to understand the link between legalization of prostitution and human trafficking. The thesis is divided into three major sections. The theoretical part defines major terms, such as human trafficking and prostitution. This section also describes the issue of human trafficking and prostitution in the context of the Czech Republic and in the context of Germany. The empirical part/section is based on interviews with a number of social workers in Germany, and its primary goal is to elicit whether legalization of prostitution in Germany caused an increase in the number of victims of human trafficking. Víra a morální hodnoty sociálního pracovníka v pomáhajících profesích Faith and moral values of social workers in the helping professions Michaela Fiedlerová This bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of faith and values in social work, highlights areas where religion and spirituality are already firmly in place and also reveals the dark side of religiosity and crisis situations arising trough involvement ones worldview into the relationship between social worker - whatever party worker or client is believer. The paper endeavors to answer the question whether and, if so, to what extent can social worker affect the service to his religious beliefs. Pitfall of religiosity in social work lies in the fact that the social worker can access to his task as a religious mission, more or less consciously can put pressure on the client (or colleagues) to accept his understanding of the world, to profess the s ame values and even in the same manner. The social worker has considerable power over the client, legitimate one, arising from his position, expert power and especially power resulting from source control. Construction of conflict situations by social workers employed at Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children

The thesis is focused on the construction of conflict situations of social workers of OSPOD (Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children). The first part explains what conflict is from the perspective of helping professions and social constructionism. This section explains the Relational Dialectics Theory (construction of meanings related to individual identity and relationships through the use of language) and the structure of discourse construction using Gee categories. The aim of this ork was to examine the construction of conflicts between clients and social workers who work at OSPOD. The results showed what is the structure of the construction of conflict situations and what kind of struggles of discourses can be called conflict.

DEATH OF A CLOSE PERSON IN THE CONTEXT OF SPIRITUALITY Mgr. Sylvie Stretti The dissertation submitted is dealing with the relationship between the subjects of the death of a close person and spirituality, especially personal concept of spirituality. Death of a close person is a crucial turning point in the life of a human being. The turning point affecting the next life in all aspects of the human life, in all its directions - biological-, psychological-, and sociological-spiritual. The complete care about a human being is more and more applied in the context of health or disciplines working with relations or connections; it is thus relevant to be aware of this fact of multidisciplinary cooperation and enrichment. I introduced the status of current approaches to subjects of the death of a close person and spirituality and introduction to the problematic in the beginning of my work. The subject of spirituality occurs in relation to extraordinary events, i.e. in the interdisciplinary field; this corresponds just with human dimensions.
