Design of autonomous vehicle simulator

Design and realization of serial communication monitor
Šnajder, Jan ; Králík, Jan (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is design and realization of serial communication monitor. The thesis describes creation of hardware device responsible for collecting data from analyzed communications and for distribution of these data by USB bus. Thesis also explains connection between serial monitor and software Wireshark by extcap interface. Visualization of data in readable format is done by decoding script, which is tested by selected protocol. The last part of the study is focused on evaluation of data permeability of hardware device according to data line fullness.

Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by UN Peacekeepers
Králik, Ján ; Faix, Martin (referee)
The thesis provides legal analysis of sexual exploitation and abuse by UN peacekeepers with particular focus on military members of national peacekeeping contingents. It provides brief survey of peacekeeping operations thereby underlying their importance in the contemporary activities of the UN and describing factors that have caused or might led to sexual exploitation and abuse by UN peacekeepers. Furthermore, UN action towards those acts is described and it is also evaluated whether such steps are successful, sufficient and whether more could have been done or what more can be done in the future. A part is also dedicated to international humanitarian law perspective and international human rights law. In this context, the author tries to answer the question if and when the sexual exploitation and abuse by members of national peacekeeping contingents while deployed to a UN peacekeeping mission may constitute war crimes or crimes against humanity and whether there is a role to play by International Criminal Court. In the same vein, issues of extraterritorial application of human rights treaties are discussed. The question of international responsibility is the central topic of this thesis. Apart from individual responsibility of members of national peacekeeping contingents for acts of sexual...

Implementation of kinematics algorithms for the four legged mobile robot
Králík, Jan ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Sova, Václav (advisor)
The goal of the work is restore a quadruped walking spider-type robot named Jaromír. Part of the work is a body design that is then printed on a 3D printer. Another part is the design and creation of a new control board, which’ll include sensor equipment appropriate for robot operation. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the design of the tactile sensor’s and their fitting on the legs. The final part is implementation of the algorithm for robot control. The goal was to put the model to a state where it could be used for learning and presentations.

The Competency profile of tennis coach
Králík, Jan ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Title: Competency profile of tennis coach Objectives: The aim of this work is to create competency profile of ideal tennis coach which based on evaluation by tennis experts. Methods: At first data for the research was obtained by studying the written sources and was subsequently extended and modified thanks to interviews with tennis coaches. 4 level-point Likert scale without central tendency was chosen for evaluating the importance of the data. Respondents were exclusively tennis coaches. They were asked about the importance of competencies in person and also by social networks. Results: The most important competencies for ideal tennnis coach were identified in accordence to results of the evaluation. These competencies were chosen to be in competency profile. Keywords: evaluation, coach, competency, tennis

Diachronic comparison of synchronic corpora
Křen, Michal ; Čermák, František (advisor) ; Kučera, Karel (referee) ; Králík, Jan (referee)
The thesis presents a method for diachronic comparison of synchronic corpora that reflect language of very close time periods. Its primary aim is the assessment of possi- bilities and limitations of language change detection based on the synchronic written SYN-series corpora. The approach is corpus-driven, based on a statistical evaluation of differences among normalized average reduced frequencies of lemmata and lexical combinations. There are several variants of the method applied on various subcorpora of corpus SYN and their results examined in detail. Difficulty of the comparison lies in the influence of corpus composition and the interconnection of changes in language with changes in society. As it is not easy to distinguish the signs of diachronic shift from naturally existing synchronic variability, the statistically discovered significance of frequency differences is additionally verified by querying the base corpora. The interpretation of the results is also adjusted by the knowledge of their exact composition. The conclusions are based mainly on the newspapers as a written text type that is most receptive to the changes. The changes can be characterized as a thematic diversion from the original political and economical orientation of the newspapers towards real- life and free-time topics...

Exploratory spatial data analysis
KRÁLÍK, Jan
The goal is a sophisticated evaluation of the possibility of using exploratory spatial data analysis in the analysis of socio-economic activities in the area. Exploratory spatial data analysis (ESDA) is a collection of methods used to survey spatial data of different nature, which is used in a wide range of graphic or visual methods, and maps. Spatial data is a characteristic that applies to certain locations in space, ie. As already known, where data exist and how they polohu. In practical part describes how to apply demographic data using a computer program Geode. As input into the program GeoDa serves the statistical data (data series), which can be obtained, for example on the website of the Českého statistického úřadu.Tato data must then be adjusted to a desired format and opened in the program GeoDa. Output GeoDa program are different maps (in this case the Czech Republic), where monitoring demographic indicator categorized in several colors and these colors are then placed around the map, according to that which takes the values pursued by the phenomenon in a particular area.
