Design of Consumption Management of Material Elements for Production Processes with a Focus on Waste Management of the Production Line
Dušek, Jakub ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the waste management of the production line and the proposal of measures to ensure the reduction of waste in the production process. It also deals with the streamlining of production data reporting, using information and automation technologies with the use of lean manufacturing principles.
Penetration testing of ANC
Dušek, Jakub ; Jakub,, Přibyl (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of a security solution that was recently deployed by a British company renting office space. This validation system is based on a database of MAC addresses, a database of clients and active filtering of connected devices. The first part explains the concepts of computer network, VLAN and basic concepts needed to understand the function of dynamic assignment of VLAN and IP addresses. The second part is devoted to measurements based on hypotheses, according to which measures are proposed in the last part to solve these security problems.
Properties of aminoclay complexes and biologically active substances
Dušek, Jakub ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This paper builds on previous research of aminoclay complexes in undergraduate studies. Theoretical part deals with study of current problems of aminoclay complexes with bioactive substances and the choice of substances for complexing with aminoclay. The experimental part consists of preparation of aminoclay complexes with selected bioactive agents at various concentrations. Verification of binding of bioactive agents to the aminoclay matrix was performed by Elemental Analysis (EA) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). For finding of the bound amount of bioactive substance were used the Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC®) and analysis of the cytotoxic properties of the formed complexes by used by the MTT assay. The main motivation of this study is to create new complexes with improved characteristics that would replace existing forms of substances used in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
Development of the circadian system after systemic potentiation of GABAergic transmission in early ontogenesis
Dušek, Jakub ; Bendová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Mareš, Pavel (referee)
The circadian system is the evolutionary response of organisms to repetitive geophysical conditions and allows organisms to devote their energy to solving sudden changes. Although the circadian system developed to help organisms survive and thrive in dynamic conditions, system itself is sensitive to external changes. During critical developmental period of the mammalian CNS, the neonatal period, the circadian systém is significantly vulnerable. Benzodiazepines, pharmaceuticals widely prescribed for half a century, interfere with GABAergic transmission, which is critical type of signaling for the functioning of the circadian systém. The purpose of this thesis is to determine whether and how the development and functioning of the circadian system is altered after administration of a drug from the benzodiazepine class, clonazepam, during the critical developmental period. This thesis examines changes in the expression profile of selected genes in the hippocampus, olfactory bulb and frontal cortex of two ontogenetic stages of rats. Results of this work suggest that benzodiazepines administred in the neonatal period disrupt the development of the circadian system and that these changes, particularly in the hippocampus, persist for certain time. Key words: circadian system; circadian rhythms;...
Design of Consumption Management of Material Elements for Production Processes with a Focus on Waste Management of the Production Line
Dušek, Jakub ; Bartošek, Vladimír (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis is looking for weaknesses in the area of production waste generation and capture, production reporting on the production line. It also discusses the proposal for immediate reduction of waste generation and suggestions for improving solutions using automation and information technology, with a focus on reducing production costs.

Puerto-Rican Spanish with a Focus on Lexis
Dušek, Jakub ; Mištinová, Anna (advisor) ; Zavadil, Bohumil (referee)
(in English): This Bachelor's Thesis examines the Puerto Rican Spanish vocabulary, which contains a large number of typical features, generally applicable to American Spanish (on a lexical level). A brief overview of the history of the country is also included, as each historical period has had some impact on its language. The paper then describes the theoretical background of every typical feature of the Puerto Rican lexicon, especially its origin or definition. This is followed by a practically focused part, in which specific examples for each aspect in vocabulary. From this chapter conclusions are then drawn summarizing the most important findings of the examined lexical features. The last described area is the situation of English on the island and the presence of Puerto Rican Spanish in the United States. I focused on the specific case of the interaction of both official languages, thus involving the use of anglicisms and Spanglish speech. In conclusion, I have tried to show, inter alia, the basis for the future development of this issue in Puerto Rico.
Relationship between owner of the media and editorial office-ethical issues of media moguls-politicians Silvio Berlusconi and Andrej Babiš
Dušek, Jakub ; Moravec, Václav (advisor) ; Osvaldová, Barbora (referee)
This thesis analyzes the influence of tycoons on media they own. The theoretical phase explains the normative media theory as well as basic journalistic concepts used in this thesis such as well as conflict of interest and the legislation that deals with it. But this part of thesis mainly contains of two profiles of media moguls, which are also in top level politics - Andrej Babiš and Silvio Berlusconi. The analyzis contains of two comparative case studies to prove, that the influence is being practiced in two aspects: 1) writting less about topics, that would politically harm the owner 2) owner is attacking political opponent by his media. Involvement of cellular signal systems controlled by small G-proteins in neuroregenerative processes
Dušek, Jakub ; Novotný, Jiří (advisor) ; Košek, Dalibor (referee)
G-proteins repeatedly seem as significant signal mediators according to actual "cellular signal during neuroregeneration" reviews. This thesis aimed to find out how much small G-proteins correlate with neural tissue regeneration and which molecular mechanisms induce the regeneration. The thesis mentions pathologies of nervous system which are caused by traumas or neurodegenerative diseases in wider social perspective. Pivotal part of the text describes principles of functioning for each small GTPase family and its involvement in nervous tissue repair. This thesis demonstrates crucial role of small GTPases in neuroregeneration and points to considerable therapeutic potential of these GTPases. Key words: neuroregeneration; small GTPase; small G-protein; Ras; signal systems; neurodegeneration
