Visualization of Route Information and Elevation Profile
Elman, Michal ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is design and implementation of application for visualization of elevation profile and track information. GPS devices record track trace to GPX file which is opened in the application. The statistical indicators are calculated from input data, elevation profile is shown as a graph and track is painted on free maps OpenStreetMap. This work describes the entire application development from analysis through design to implementation.
CFD simulation of fluid-induced vibration
Kubíček, Radek ; Vondál, Jiří (referee) ; Buzík, Jiří (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis focuses on flow-induced vibrations of a tube. The main aim and benefit is the analysis of tube stiffness in contact with the other one and the following use of obtained values and characteristics in CFD simulations. The work can be divided into three parts. The first part is about the current state of knowledge of flow-induced vibrations. It introduces the basic mechanisms of vibration and methods for their suppression. The second part deals with the determination of stiffness of defined geometry tube including the collision with the other tube. The final part demonstrates and evaluates the application of obtained characteristics in CFD simulations.
Problems of the complex potentials of the isotropic elasticity
Kubíček, Radek ; Hrstka, Miroslav (referee) ; Profant, Tomáš (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis concerns linear fracture mechanics and deals with determination of the stress intensity factor of the finite crack, which is located in the vicinity of the bimaterial interface, solved by the distributed dislocation technique and theory of complex potencials. The work is possible to devide into three parts. The first part includes basic concepts of the linear fracture mechanics and is also dedicated to the mechanics of composite materials. The second part deals with the determination of the stress intensity factor from solving singular integral equation formulated by Bueckner's principle and the distributed dislocation technique. The third part includes the specific configuration of the crack with respect to the bimaterial interface and the solution, which is compared with results obtained from the FE analysis.
Dynamic characteristics obtained from solution of simple vocal folds models
Kubíček, Radek ; Švancara, Pavel (referee) ; Hájek, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis concerns the biomechanics of voice and its aim is to obtain dynamic characteristics of simple analytical and numerical vocal folds models. Thesis includes main theories of voice production and thorough analysis of the widest used computational models. Essential is an anatomical and physiological introduction including basic pathologies. Behaviour of computational models mentioned in the bibliographic research is demonstrated by the dynamics characteristics gained by modal analysis and by the solid mechanics equation solution. Eigenfrequencies come under range from literature. The aim of thesis is comparison of analytical and numerical solution and particular computational models.
Building Designer and Generator
Jurka, Zdeněk ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with design and creation of 2D editor for fast transfer of bitmap building plans to a vector representation. Emphasis is placed on an object oriented design of editor allowing extension of the automatically generating 3D object representation obtained from the vector form. The thesis describes an important part of the design of the user interface and an equally important mathematical background of the implemented 2D features. The work also addresses the description of the intended generation of 3D models with a choice of appearance of the resulting 3D model.
CAD System for 2D Drawing
Brnický, Vojtěch ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating a CAD system for 2D drawing. It contains an introduction to the genaral issues and characteristics of today's CAD systems. The thesis analyzes the system requirements, describes the design and subsequent implementation of the system. In the conclusion of the thesis, the achieved results are evaluated and the potential for further development is defined.
CAD System for 2D Drawing
Hübner, Lukáš ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis considers the characteristics of a computer aided design. It specifies the typical methods used for drawing in this sort of programs. Practical part is an application for 2D drawing, which implements some of the specified methods. There is described a concept and an implementation of the application with Qt and Open Scene Graph libraries.
Library of Algorithms for Text Ciphering
Mikulka, Jiří ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis brings an overview of historical and modern methods and approaches used in cryptography. It also describes and assesses ciphers, which have been used since the very beginning of encryption till modern ciphers. Based on information resulting from this overview the reader should be able to distinguish between ciphers, know their advantages and disadvantages, and be able to choose the best cipher for any purpose. Ciphers mentioned in this thesis are implemented in a library called CipherLib , which shows usage of every described cipher.
Visualization of Route Information and Elevation Profile
Kolčárek, Michal ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
An ambition of this thesis was to create a complex program for managing geographic data from GPS receiver with graphic user interface. The final application is able to show an information about tracks, to draw tracks into map and to create graphs. Main challenge was to create a user friendly aplication, which is easy to manage even by beginner users. In this application was used a Java language using objected-oriented paradigm.
Cycling/Running Training Diary Using GPS Data
Matera, Tomáš ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a cross-platform application of training diary using GPS data. The first part is dedicated to theory of sport training, keeping a training diary and GPS technology. The second part describes design and implementation of the application based on this theoretical basis.
