Electromagnetic current meters of velocity

This bachelor thesis explains the issue of electromagnetic current meter of velocity. A survey of all available standards on these devices is carried out. Devices are described technically and metrologically. There are also described the possibilities of usage, operating conditions as well as problems of calibration of these devices. Information on available commercially available devices is provided along with a description of all relevant parameters. One selected device model is put to the test of measurement the velocity on the calibration tank of the laboratory, thus the experiences from real calibration measurement are gained and described.

Mechanical design of 3D printers for large-sized parts

This thesis deals with a construction of a largescale 3D printer. The main goal of the thesis is design and manufacture of functional prototype of FDM 3D printer with a size of building chamber (520 x 520 x 480) mm. Designed printer belongs to the RepRap project. A built of the 3D printer is enclosed with a heated bed. This allows printing from PLA, PET-G and particularly ABS. In the thesis, a research was conducted into 3D printing methods from polymers, materials, printing parameters and technologies of FDM printers. The analysis was carried out in the second chapter, where knowledges from the research were evaluated and determined significant parameters of a printing quality. Final technologies were chosen on the grounds of drafts from previous chapter. The realization of the printer including strength calculations is described in a part of a construction solution. The last section of the thesis deals with a calibration of the printer.

The Mass-media, the Political Sphere and Media Education

Naše práce si dala za úkol několik cílů. Prvním cílem byl náhled do problematiky médií a politické komunikace. Popsali jsme některé důležité aspekty médií, které zahrnují jak omezení dané technologií, tak omezení organizační. Shrnuli jsme současný stav teorie mediální a politické komunikace, včetně styčných ploch mezi těmito dvěma disciplínami. Bohužel tento současný stav a omezený prostor této práce nedovolují zevrubnější náhled do problematiky a formulaci jasnějších závěrů. Na druhou stranu jsme využili více zdrojů a přístupů pro identifikaci účinků mediálního sdělení a popsali několik způsobů, jakými se média snaží zajistit objektivitu i několik strategií, jak lze sdělení pozměnit tak, aby místo neutrálního vyznění ovlivňovalo příjemce. Cíl, který jsme si stanovili jako druhý v pořadí, lze shrnout jako popis procesu, kterým prochází mediální sdělení. Vytvořili jsme vlastní schéma, podle kterého jsme odvíjeli analýzu jednotlivých částí procesu. Pomocí příkladů uvedených v literatuře se nám podařilo nastínit možné problematické partie jednotlivých účastníků tohoto procesu a i když jsme zdaleka nevyčerpali všechny otázky, které se nabízejí, zmínili jsme všechny důležité momenty. Finalisation of development and verification of Flow123d software within the DECOVALEX 2015 project

This final report summarizes the progress of work and results for the whole period of the project. The subject is modelling of tasks within the project Decovalex-2015, development of Flow123d software, and preparation of documents for its standardization using the comparison results with foreign teams. TUL team participated in Task C1 (THMC processes in a single fracture) using the software Geochemist’s Workbench and their own tool TrAper for connecting chemistry and deformation and Task C2 (flow and transport in the vicinity of the tunnel Bedřichov) using Flow123d software. Task C2 also includes the formulation of the assignment and coordination of the solution of other teams. The ÚGN team participated in Task A, focusing on saturation of bentonite seals in clay rock and closing the gap, with the help of the COMSOL Multiphysics software. The outputs are the joint report by international teams and papers in a special issue of a journal. The developed models and lessons learned contribute to the ability to predict phenomena in the deep geological repository. Another result is a set of documents for the Flow123d software. The subject of this thesis „Concept of Education at the Chamber of Financial Consultants“ is to analyse the current situation on the financial consultancy market whose absences have led to the concept proposal for the education of financial consultants to extend the knowledge of consultants and to improve the quality of their services. In the practical part I propose options, how the concept of education in the framework of the chamber's financial advisors should be applied.

Energy Assessment

The first part of the final thesis is focused on the use of thermovision for diagnosing defects and failures in building industry. Documented history, physical principles and conditions for the measuring of thermographic camera are described in this part. Thermal images of the object described below were used for demonstrating the defects. The second part is dedicated to the elaborated energy assessment for a nine-storey slab block building. In total, there are five energy economic measures developed for the building. Three of those are of structural character and two of those are for building equipment. There are two variants designed based on the measures, one of which is recommended and evalu-ated. The final section is focused on the measurement of slab block building indoor environment (CO2, air temperature, relative humidity, dew point) and its assessment in concern with the current legislation.

Multifunctional Semi-detached Building in Svitavy

The thesis contains the design and construction design of a residential building with an establishment connected to the existing terraced houses in the town of Svitavy in level of project documentation for the construction. The building has a rectangular plan shape, one underground floor, three floors, the attic and the roof is designed as a saddle. The property is brought footpaths and nearby the parking is proposed. Building land is sloping to the north. The main part of the building is intended for living, ground floor is designed for three establishments.
