Controlling of Robot Movements by On-Board Camera
Uhlíř, Václav ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This student paper discusses the basic image processing and it's use in automatic systems, particularly for use in space orientation and obstacle detection for robots. Additionally, the work show  concept implementation of the basic obstacles recognition and description of actual implementation for specific application an the robot Surveyor SRV-1.
Comparison of Methods for Travelling Salesman Problem
Šušová, Lucia ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work is about comparison of methods for solving the traveling salesman problem. There are many algorithms for finding solution of this NP complete problem but it is not easy to choose the right one. Main goal of this thesis is experimental methods comparison between each other. Reader is going to learn what result she can expect if she chooses certain algorithm for finding the path. First part is focused on theoretical basics where is described all needed information for understanding the problem. Second part describes single heuristics and methods for solving these problems. The methods are divided into groups by principle of working. Next part contains experimental comparison of methods. This comparison was done based on own implementation of single heuristics. The following part of this work contains information about this implementation and also describes comparison application. Next possible steps of this project are described in conclusion.
Intelligent Passive Client for Music Player Daemon
Winkler, Tomáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
Music has always been integral to our lives. It is very appropriate to use not only our sense of hearing but the other senses as well to intensify our enjoyment of music. My goal in this bachelor's thesis was to appropriately enhance functionality of existing clients for a music player daemon so that it could be achievable to watch certain presentation when playing music. An aplication uses internet sources to download suciant amount of pictures. Another sources can be add using an aplication interface. In this thesis I also solved a problem of duplicity image detection and a problem of download sources rating from various sources. Of course it can show an interpret's name and a playing song's name during picture presentation. This thesis is about creating a draft, a discription and an impelmentation of inteligent passive client which should go public.
USB Host with PIC Microcontrollers
Kučera, Pavel ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The aim of master thesis is implementation of USB host in a microcontroller PIC. The thesis contains description of ways of peripherals to computer connections with detailed description of USB bus. There are also discussed several approaches in implementations USB host for embedded systems. A concept of layered USB host system is designed on the basis of analysis of the state of the art. Finally, the designed system is implemented in microcontroller. Resulting firmware of development kit is tested on real USB device.
Applicability of GCD Technology to Antivirus Software
Švec, Michal ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis describes Grand Central Dispatch technology. It is technology for parallel computing and task processing. It also describes history and techniques of parallel computing. As an example stand simple HTTP server with 4 methods of request parallel processing. Server is connected to AVG antivirus software and check each request for viruses.
Quality Evaulation of Structured Documentations Using Methods of Artificial Intelligence
Svrbíková, Simona ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Homoliak, Ivan (advisor)
The motivation of this work is to provide evaluation simplicity and speedup of an extensive number of documentations with the same subject. The tool for automate evaluation was created and tested on the set of structured documentations originated from student´s projects with the same assignment. The tool uses an existing methods of the artificial intelligence for the purpose of the supervised learning. The source of the first attributes group are string-kernel functions using the criterion of the text strings similarity. Another group of attributes makes provision for properties like the structure of documentations, the stylistic, the length of chapters etc., which are statistically evaluated. These groups of attributes are joined together to achieve higher diversity of classified objects. The experiments present results achieved by using of neural networks, naive Bayes and SVM methods. The analysis of the data has been performed by data mining studio RapidMiner. The contribution of this work is to find out the classification usage possibilities in the case when classified objects have very similar properties in the feature space.
Automated Document Categorization
Sváček, Radim ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of automated document categorization application. Text contains analysis of existing systems and description of classification methods. Thesis includes object oriented design of application including plugins. Application is implemented in C++ with possibility of functionality extension through plugins. Application aims to simplify work with unsorted documents through their organization into directory structure based on informations extracted from files, including their metadata.
Simple 3D Printer Simulator
Čillo, Vladimír ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of 3D printer simulator in C++ using Qt. The simulator assumes a printer based on widely used method of 3D print - Fused Deposition Modeling. An input of simulator is a 3D model in STL file format. For the 3D model simulator provides an estimate of the total print time. Simulation also includes visualization of 3D print. The result is a cross-plaform program tested under Linux and Windows. Functionality of simulator has been tested by several experiments.
Sport Assistant for iOS
Fišer, Jakub ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create a mobile phone application for iOS, that would be used for recording all sport activities of a person. The application can record activity using GPS or count the exercise manually, automatically at time intervals or by motion sensor. For recognition of moves while using motion sensor was developed a library called Motion Recognizer. The application uses HealthKit framework. The application also offers an opportunity of planning a sport activity by using Trainer objects. It uses Core Data framework while working with data and it backs up the data on iCloud.
Code Generation from Object Oriented Petri Nets
Hanák, Martin ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes opinions about generating code from PNtalk language into more standard object orinted languages, such as C++ or Java. Goal is to construct model of the formalism of Object Oriented Petri Nets (OOPN), represented in PNtalk languege in mentioned languages. This model should be simlpier and more effective than actual implementation in Smalltalk language. Thesis also contains ideas about abstactization the code generator to be able to generate code in various languages.
