Psalm 118 in the New Testament
Veverková, Zuzana ; Mrázek, Jiří (advisor) ; Pokorný, Petr (referee)
Our work deals with the role of Psalm 118 in the New Testament, which is also the name of our work. In order to figure out the function of Psalm 118 in the New Testament we analyzed the Psalm itself and offered quotations and remarks of it. Our thesis is that authors of the New Testament have found a new meaning for Psalm 118. This meaning is Christological and along with that we hope that these authors do not take our cited quotations out of context too harshly. Consequently, we provided the reader with an analysis of three New Testament quotations of selected verses, namely the concept of context, exegesis and the use of the psalm 118. The first selected texts deal with confidence in God and the second ones with rejected corner stone. Lastly, we considered the exultations and blessings of the King. We are looking at interpretation of our Psalm and the use of the context of cited verses.
Did Luke Write also for the Non-Believers?
Kunstová, Mária ; Roskovec, Jan (advisor) ; Pokorný, Petr (referee)
New Testament writings were mostly adressed to the church for education, spiritual formation and liturgical purposes. Concerning Lukan work, there are several different theories about its possible intended readers out of church. These theories could be divided into three groups: 1. Theories about Lukas writing literature which was to be published and distributed in the common book market, 2. theories about possible political intentions of Luke's work and 3. theories about Gentiles who believed in one God and sypathised with Judaism. The work focuses on the whole Lukan cycle - both Gospel according to Luke and Acts. It attempts to find the answer to the question if Luke wrote also for non-Christian audience. It deals with particular Introduction topics (author, date of composition, unity and purpose) and soteriology of the two books. It uses with synoptic comparison and contains exegesae of chosen biblical texts. Klíčová slova Nový zákon, synoptická evangelia, Lukáš, Evangelium podle Lukáše, Skutky apoštolské, soteriologie, lukášovská soteriologie, marnotratný syn, adresát, účel sepsání, politický rozměr Lukáše Keywords New Testament, Synoptic Gospels, Luke, Gospel according to Luke, Acts, Soteriology, Lukan Soteriology, Prodigal Son, Audience, Purpose of Composition, Political aspect of Luke
Proposal of Change of Marketing Mix of selected Company
Pokorný, Petr ; MBA, Michal Novotný, (referee) ; Mráček, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the design of the marketing mix of the selected company. It is divided into four parts. Objectives and methodology, theoretical, practical and design part. The first part focuses on defining the objectives of the diploma thesis and at the same time describes the used methodology, the second chapter deals with the theoretical knowledge, the third chapter deals with the practical processing and the last one is concentrated on the design solution of the marketing mix of the company, while the whole work compares theoretical knowledge with reality.
Dynamics of small bodies in the Solar System: from dust particles to asteroid
Pokorný, Petr
In this thesis, we study two different topics: collisional probability between two bodies and dynamics of the sporadic meteoroids in the Solar System. Determination of the collision probabilities in the Solar System is one of the important problems in mod- ern celestial mechanics. Here, we generalize classical theories of the collisions between two bodies by Öpik, Wetherill or Greenberg by including the Kozai-Lidov oscillations, a mechanism that significantly change orbital eccentricity and inclination in the Solar System. Sporadic meteors have been studied for many decades providing a wealthy re- source of data. Here, we build dynamical steady-state models for all known populations observed in the sporadic meteoroid complex based on the latest and most precise data provided by Canadian Meteor Orbit Radar (CMOR). Our models using the latest theo- ries for cometary populations in the Solar System accurately describe observed sporadic background population. Our results are in agreement with observations provided by space probes IRAS and LDEF.
The use of music in German lessons as a means of developing communicative competence
Pokorný, Petr
This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of using songs in German language teaching. Its aim is to contribute to tackling the issue of using songs in lessons of the German language as a second foreign language. The theoretical part introduces the position of the German language in the current Czech educational system, presents crucial methodical concepts of German teaching relevant to the chosen topic and also describes some difficulties with using music while teaching a foreign language in terms of pedagogy and psychology. The subject matter of the practical part is a research among students and teachers of lower-secondary and secondary schools. The aim of the research is to ascertain and describe the current use of songs in German lessons and detect when and why the songs are used for teaching German as a foreign language. On the basis of the results collected by a questionnaire survey and semi-structured dialogues with experts, a collection of nine worksheets and methodic sheets for working with songs during German lessons has been created. The sheets present diverse activities and methods suitable for A1, A2 and B1 levels according to the CEFR.

Raman spectroscopy as a tool for analysis of microbial cells
Pokorný, Petr ; Enev, Vojtěch (referee) ; Samek, Ota (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of Raman spectroscopy for analysis of ectoine and hydroxyectoine presence in bacterial strain Halomonas elongata. Theoretical part compile characteristics of extremophiles with closer look on halophilic organisms and one of their main osmolytes, ectoines. Following by description of Raman spectroscopy method and its uses. Experimental part deals with cultivation of bacteria on different combinations of substrate and salt concentration in order to reach optimal production of PHA and for achieving the highest possible yield of biomass to be analysed by Raman spektroskopy. As the best substrate for PHA production turned out to be glukose along with salt concentration 30 g/l NaCl, where percentage representation of PHB makes 30,5229 %. As an ideal substrate for the highest yield of biomass proved to be sacharose. Bacteria that grew on sacharose with three different salt concentrations, 40, 70 and 100 g/l NaCl was measured along with Halomonas salina and Halomonas organivorans for comparison. Raman spectroscopy unfortunately turned out to be inadequate for measurement of this type of sample, thus we were not able to measure ectoine of hydroxyectoine presence in cells.
