Outplacement
Use of biological feedback during training of postural regulation
Papáček, Roman ; Mužík, Jan (advisor) ; Jiřina, Marcel (referee)
The thesis focuses on the study of the impact of visual stimuli from virtual reality scenes and on influencing and training postural stability in patients after brain damage. It endeavours to inform comprehensively about the substantial facts related to this topic and widen the possibilities of an objective evaluation of postural stability and this eliminate the risk of a subjective mistake made by a physiotherapist. In the course of the work I have used a number of virtual reality scenes through which I measured and evaluated both static and dynamic labour of the tested people with their own centre of mass. The process of positioning was scanned by Wii Balance Board and the data were recorded with the help of a specially designed computer application "Rehabilitation in virtual reality". It was necessary to create two groups of people tested. A group of healthy probands of 50 in number and a group of patients comprising 3 members. In one part, the recorded data represented the figures of centre deflection (in millimetres), and in the other part, the number of points gained during the measuring. The results of both parts were then processed into well-arranged tables which also involve the basic statistic quantities, and they are presented in the form of graphs. In the conclusion, the thesis verifies...

Application of the coaching method in the field of employee development considering the factor of quality
Langrová, Veronika ; Mužík, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Jarošová, Helena (referee) ; Tureckiová, Michaela (referee)
The period we live in is characterized by change. Not only does this change affect the world around us, but also our very selves. It also has impact on functioning and general run of organizations including the field of employee education and development. It is necessary for organizations to be viable and able to withstand growing competition in the market environment to adequately react to these changes. At the beginning, but also in the course of writing of the presented doctoral thesis, I asked myself a question, how the organizations are able to cope with the mentioned problems, what innovations does this process bring to the field of human resources and more importantly education and development management, what needs and new situations does it bring about and how are the organizations able to react to all the described challenges. My goal is to introduce coaching as one of the ways of development and to offer self-contained view on this method and its implementation in the framework of education and development in organizations. This allows me to link together theoretical concern with my own practical experience in this field and at the same time to introduce concrete examples of coaching adjustment in organizations in the Czech Republic, to explore quality and the rate of success of coaching use and...

Pličková, Ema ; Mužík, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Krejčí, Petr (referee)
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to outline the role of the European Social Fund in the frame work of further education. This thesis is based on the concept of society of knowledge and education. It deals with the role of further education and development of humans resources. The European social fund is described here from the point of view of the tourism industry whose employees represent a large portion of the population working in the services. It further describes projects implemented by the Ministry for Regional Development in the framework of the Program Development of Human Resources for the sphere of tourism industry within the period of 2005 - 2008. In the tourism sector besides a few of large companies there are active mainly medium to small sized enterprises. These are generally unable because of high financial requirements to train their own employees and current crises does not make it any easier. However, the travel industry has been always underestimated in further education. It is the travel industry that offers job opportunities for 59 0000 self employed persons and 181 000 employees. The output of this thesis is the evaluation of projects realized by the Ministry for Regional Development and financed by European Social Fund and co financed by the State Budget within the "old"...

A quality management system (QMS) forms a part of the organization's management. There are various QMS systems. Quality management is a dynamic process that constantly changes and develops in terms of forms, methods and content. Specific QMS types can be attributed to one of three basic concepts: industrial standards, TQM (Total Quality Management), and the ISO concept. Various approaches to quality management began to develop in the 1920s. After World War II, the issues of quality gain priority particularly in Japan and the USA, followed by Europe. At that time the first true quality management systems were established. Their significance and development rapidly grew mainly in the 1980s, when quality began to be considered a key prerequisite to success and future competitiveness. Presently, two systems are...

Electronic clinical study management system with artificial intelligence-based data processing capabilities
Mužný, Miroslav ; Mužík, Jan (advisor) ; Štěpánková, Olga (referee) ; Ngo, Phuong Dinh (referee)
An increasing amount of data are collected through wearable devices during ambulatory, and long-term monitoring of biological signals, adoption of persuasive technology and dynamics of clinical trials information sharing - all of that changes the possible clinical intervention. Moreover, more and more smartphone apps are hitting the market as they become a tool in daily life for many people around the globe. All of these applications are generating a tremendous amount of data, that is difficult to process using traditional methods, and asks for engagement of advanced methods of data processing. For recruiting patients, this calls for a shift from traditional methods of engaging patients to modern communication platforms such as social media, that are providing easy access to up- to-date information on an everyday basis. These factors make the clinical study progression demanding, in terms of unified participant management and processing of connected digital resources. Some clinical trials put a strong accent on remote sensing data and patient engagement through their smartphones. To facilitate this, a direct participant messaging, where the researchers give support, guidance and troubleshooting on a personal level using already adopted communication channels, needs to be implemented. Since the...
