Rendering and Interacting Objects Displaced in a 3D Landscape
Koza, Tomáš ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system of powerups for program TankGame. This document contents theoretical base for rendering of objects in 3D scene, it describes algorithms used in rendering of these objects. It also contains overview of rendering process and description of concrete graphical engine used in program TankGame. In the end there is description of concrete implementation of renderable objects (powerups) for program TankGame.
3D Objects Reconstruction from Image Data
Ambrož, Ondřej ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The work concerns 3D reconstruction of an object making a strictly set angle turn in front of a static camera. It tries to explain the basic principle of this reconstruction given all the camera parameters are known.
Realistic Rendering Using Radiosity
Janoušek, Jiří ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with one of the global illumination algorithms - the radiosity algorithm. There are handled fundamentals of the radiosity algorithm including basic equations and relations. You can see review of possible solutions of this method in use and description of the implementation based on video card and OpenGL rendering. The thesis tries to explain main problems and attitudes to implementation of radiosity briefly, clearly and comprehensibly.
Java Client for 3D Displaing of Medical Image Data
Bireš, Jiří ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The thesis considers use of Java language in interactive 3D displaying of medical image data. Main point is to find out advantages of using this language in medical visualisations and find suitable tools for its future usage. At the conclusion it evaluates advantages and disadvantages of used technologies and suggests possible development of the appliacation
OpenSceneGraph Components for Medical 3D Image Data Visualisation
Kučiš, Michal ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis describes methods displaying 3D image data. The thesis contains implementation of method displaying cut throught data.
Using Spectral Analysis for 3D Triangles Polygonal Mesh Conversion on 3D Spline Surfaces
Šenk, Miroslav ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
In this work we deal with conversion of 3D triagonal polygonal meshes to the 3D spline patches using spectral analysis. The converted mesh is divided into quadrilaterals using eigenvectors of Laplacian operator. These quadrilaterals will be converted into spline patches. We will present some interesting results of this method. The assets and imperfections of this method will be briefly discussed.
Medical Image Data Compression
Balarin, Jakub ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The efficiency of various compress algorithms on medical images is explored in this paper. It try's to find algorithm or group of algorithms with the best compress efficiency. Except classic algorithms the medicine data properties (it contains many similar image points) can be used to reach higher compress level. We verify delta coding efficienty to final compress ratio. At the end the best founded method is presented.
AeroWorks - Flight History Reconstruction
Pribula, Ondrej ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with processing and visualization of flight data. It contains description of flight variables, airplane motion and of the equipment used in visualization. Significant part of the project deals with the description of the application used for flight path reconstruction and visualization of the flight variables. It describes its design, calibration, tools and procedures used.
OpenSceneGraph
Javorský, Peter ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The OpenSceneGraph is an open source high performance 3D graphics toolkit, used by application developers in fields such as visual simulation, games, virtual reality, scientific visualization and modelling.
Color Images Advanced Dithering Methods, Reduction of Color Space on n-Dimensional Palette
Štěpán, Petr ; Vaďura, Jiří (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis describes summarizing and comparsion of advanced dithering techniques used to reduce the image color space on n-dimensional palette. The goal is to create a set of basic methods including theirs enhancements and modifications focusing on the output image quality and maximum visual fidelity to the original image. Another part of this thesis is to analyze this methods using own comparsing method and design new dithering algorithm combining their advantages.
