Web application tool for optical network monitoring
Rýdl, Pavel ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Holík, Martin (advisor)
The problematics of gigabit optical networks as well as web technologies suitable for a web tool implementation were studied within this thesis. An experimental web application for monitoring GPON frames is developed based on the proposed system architecture. The frontend is implemented using ReactJS and the Tornado web framework is used for backend implementation. Data for analysis are read from the stream using the Kafka platform.
Gpon Frame Database Design
Holik, Martin
This paper deals with design of a database for capturing and saving frames transmitted in downstream direction over gigabit passive optical network (GPON). This kind of system uses optical transfer over passive optical networks and therefore the architecture of network is different than Ethernet technology. The useful payload is encapsulated in GEM frames by using the gigabit encapsulation method. In this article, we describe basic principles of passive optical networks and a database model for saving GPON frames in the downstream direction captured by the field programmable gate array (FPGA) card. Next, the fundamental scripts for analysing physical layer operation, admission and maintenance (PLOAM) messages are discussed. Finally, a developed Python tool for advanced analysis is shown.
Testing, routing and QoS in private networks
Opravil, Tomáš ; Holík, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis concerns the interaction of technologies of routing with ensuring the quality of services. It focuses on the function of routing protocols RIP and OSPF in combination with FIFO, PQ and WFQ queues of the technology DiffServ. The main output consists of two complex laboratory tasks. The first deals with theoretical research of the two mentioned above Riverbed programme technologies. The second subsequent task uses the emulator EVE-NG to aim the verification as well as deepening the acquired theoretical knowledge in practise.
Design and implementation of xPON frame processing interface
Vais, Zdeněk ; Dejdar, Petr (referee) ; Holík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on system for persistence of GPON communication. Theoretical part deals with problems of GPON and NG-PON optical networks, NoSQL database systems and MongoDB database. Practical part contains design of a database schema for MongoDB database and source code in programming languages Python and C# for working with this database. The thesis is finalized by performance testing, proving that the database design and source code implementation is capable of handling real world traffic.
Analysis of GPON frames using machine learning
Výstupom systému odhad podobnosti aktuálnej komunikácie v porovnaní so vzorovou komunikáciou.
Numerical Simulation of Compressible Flow in Complex Domain
Holík, Martin ; Dolejší, Vít (advisor) ; Felcman, Jiří (referee) ; Sobotíková, Veronika (referee)
This thesis deals with the theoretical analysis and practical applications of the hp discontinuous Galerkin method for convection-diffusion problems. At first, we apply this method to a scalar non-stationary convection-diffusion equation with nonlinear convective as well as diffusive terms which represents a model problem for the solution of the system of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations describing a motion of viscous compressible fluids. The resulting, fully discrete schemes, where the time discretization is done by backward difference formula, including symmetric, non-symmetric and incomplete variants of stabilizations are theoretically analyzed. Under additional assumptions on mesh, regularity of exact solution and nonlinear convective and diffusive terms, we derive hp a priori error estimates for the DG-BDF method of the second order in time, which are optimal in the L2(H1)-seminorm and suboptimal in the L(L2)- norm. Further, we extend the concept of the discontinuous Galerkin method to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations, incorporating a semi-implicit discretization with respect to time which leads to the solution of a sequence of linear algebraic systems. We develop an efficient strategy for the solution of these acquired systems. It is based on a simple adaptive technique for the choice...

Holík, Martin ; Münster, Petr (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with GPON frame detection system. Partial problems of designing databases, optical networks and management of database system are described in theoretical parts. Practical parts this thesis are focused on design of system for detecting GPON frames and script for analysing of traffic.
Optical fiber sensors for measurement strain and vibration
Mikel, Břetislav ; Helán, R. ; Buchta, Zdeněk ; Holík, M. ; Jelínek, Michal ; Číp, Ondřej
We present optical fiber sensors to measurement strain and vibration. The sensors are based on fiber Bragg gratings (FBG). We prepared construction of strain sensors with respect to its implementation on the outer surface of concrete structures and with compensation of potential temperature drifts. These sensors are projected with look forward to maximal elongation and strength which can be applied to the sensor. Each sensor contains two optical fibers with FBGs. One FBG is glued into the sensor in points of fixation which are in the line with mounting holes. This FBG is prestressed to half of measurement range, than the stretching and pressing can be measured simultaneously by one FBG. The second FBG is placed inside the sensor without fixation to measure temperature drifts. The sensor can be used to structure health monitoring.
Nerovnosti pro integrální operátory
Holík, Miloslav ; Pick, Luboš (advisor) ; Hencl, Stanislav (referee)
The presented work contains a survey of the so far known results about the operator inequalities of the type "good λ", "better good λ" and "rearranged good λ" on the function spaces over the Euclidean space with the Lebesgue measure and their corollaries in the form of more complex operator inequal- ities and norm estimates. However, the main aim is to build similar theory for the Riesz potential operator on the function spaces over the quasi-metric space with the so-called "doubling" measure. Combining the corollaries of this theory with the known norm estimates we obtain the boundedness for the Riesz potential operator on the Lebesgue and Lorentz spaces.
