Mašková, Alžběta ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: The effect of Warm Up Protocols on Explosive Power Performance in Track and Field Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was to compare three types of warm up protocols and their effects on explosive power performance. Methods: This thesis tested 43 students of UK FTVS, who visited Athletic Conditioning lessons. The group consisted of 28 men (height 183,2+-/5,6 cm) and 15 women (166,3 +-/5,7 cm) aged 20-23 years. There was six measuring sessions separated by a week off. They performed a 800 m aerobic warm up mean run, followed by one of three types of warm-up protocols (static, dynamic, balance). Each of the warm-up protocol was performed two times in the opposite order. The experiment examined the explosive power of lower limbs and upper body/limbs. Performance score were recorded from vertical jump, a ball throw, and medicine ball front throw. Results: The thesis did not confirm any of the hypotheses. It was found that the active static stretching had a positive medium effect on medicine ball front throw by Cohen scale effect size compared to the active dynamic and the active balance warm-up protocol. Other tests did not prove any significant changes, positive or negative, of any warm up protocols. Keywords: Dynamic warm-up, Static warm-up, Balance warm- up, Testing, Explosive Power

Title: Attitude toward Physical Activity in Children of Age 8-10 Years Objectives: Main goal of the paper is to examine and then compare attitudes towards physical activities for school children of age 8 - 10 years using a questionnaire CATPA Grade/Year 3 in 2014/2015. The survey was done in small towns Žamberk and Letohrad. I have also compared observed results to other surveys made during previous years. Methods: The survey of attitude toward physical activity was done in grade 3 and 4 of elementary schools in Žamberk and Letohrad in June 2015. I have used a data questionnaire known as CATPA Grade/Year 3. The research was done in cooperation with master teachers according to provided guidelines. I have obtained opinions from 176 pupils (104 boys and 72 girls). Results: I compared six attitudes of boys and girls and I have found differences especially in X5 - aesthetic dimension (higher value in set of girls) and X3 - danger dimension (higher value in set of boys). Furthermore, I observed differences between sport-living town and a town without sport enthusiasm. Keywords: attitude, physical activity, children, age 8 - 10 years, CATPA Grade/Year 3, Letohrad, Žamberk, elementary school

Název: Trenér dětských sportovních přípravek a soukromé podnikání Cíle: Hlavním cílem této práce je představit nároky na trenéra dětských sportovních přípravek, charakterizovat funkci dětských sportovních přípravek s ohledem na osobnostní rozvoj dětí předškolního a mladšího školního věku a pohlédnout na realizaci dětských sportovních přípravek jako na soukromé podnikání. Metody: V naší práci jsme použili metodu analýzy a metodu komparace. Metodu analýzy jsme aplikovali v rozboru odborné literatury týkající se charakteristiky trenérské role, charakteristiky dětí předškolního a školního věku a charakteristiku kroků úspěšného podnikání.
Kids' Athletic skills
Štvánová, Anna ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: Kids' Athletic skills Objectives: To describe a level of skills of kids in a selection of exercises, who attend the preparatory athletic school, and to compare this level between 5-6 and 8-9 years old kids. To find out if kids, who attend other sports club, will achieve higher levels of skills. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of observation, a method of analysis, a method of comparison and a method of interview. Results: A prerequisite that older kids will achieve better results than younger kids, I didn't confirm absolutely. Overall, they often achieved better results, but in some exercises were younger kids at a very similar level. The second prerequisite that kids, who attend other sports clubs, will achieve better results than other kids, I can not confirm, since all children attend other sports clubs. Key words: level of motor skills, preparatory athletic school, kids, photo sequences

Komínková, Linda ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Performance progression and training for heptathlon Objectives: This bachelor thesis deals with my personal performance progression and training in basic and special period of heptathlete training. We will evaluate my own training plans from year 2003 to year 2010. Tasks: The aim of this work is to evaluate and to judge my personal performance development. From the analysis of my training plans we want to find out the cause of my early stagnation and decreasing performance in athletic heptathlon. Methods: This work uses methods of analysis and comparison. Results: We found that the highest performance was when I was fifteen. Early performance stagnation in 2008-2009 was caused by unsystematic training and too week training impulses in view of previous years. The next decrease performance in 2009-20010 was due to low training load and loss of weight. Keywords: athletic heptathlon, basic and special period of heptathelete training, performance progression, stagnation and decreasing performance
