Software Model of a Firewall
Švec, Michal ; Tobola, Jiří (referee) ; Puš, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with stateless packet filters and packet classification algorithms. The main task is to implement a software firewall and measure the speed of packet classification. The implemented classifier uses the Perfect Hash Classification Algorithm. The classifier is implemented in several versions. The C language is used for classifier implementation, Python language is used to create auxiliary data structures. The C language was chosen because of its speed.
Online File Manager
Švec, Michal ; Jošth, Radovan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis describes design and implementation of dual-panel online file manager, with client application separated from server app.
Applicability of GCD Technology to Antivirus Software
Švec, Michal ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis describes Grand Central Dispatch technology. It is technology for parallel computing and task processing. It also describes history and techniques of parallel computing. As an example stand simple HTTP server with 4 methods of request parallel processing. Server is connected to AVG antivirus software and check each request for viruses.
Sound Creation Using VST
Švec, Michal ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital sound synthesis. The main task was to design and implement new sound synthesizer. Created tool uses different approaches to the sound synthesis, so it can be described as a hybrid. Instrument design was inspired by existing audio synthesizers. For implementation, C++ language and VST technology from Steinberg are used. As an extension, a module, that can process voice or text input and then build a MIDI file with melody (which can be interpreted with using any synthesizer) was designed and implemented. For this module, Python language is used. For the synthesizer, a simple graphical user interface was created.
Emergency responce planing in approved traning organization
Jedlička, Petr ; Švec, Michal (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This master‘s thesis is focused on the creation of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for an Approved Training Organisation (ATO). The first part of this thesis describes aviation organisations and other transport organisations that require Safety management system. The second part analyses requirements for documentation and regulations for applying Emergency Response Plan. In the third section there is an ERP general manual which helps ATO with the creation of the document. The last part contains the ERP created for a model ATO with the help of the general manual from the third chapter.
Exploration of the jet stream in the civil air transport
Švec, Michal ; Imriš, Pavel (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with jet streams. The exploration part describes conditions of jet stream formation, its characteristics, classification on the geographical basis and phenomena attendant on the jet streams. It also contains a description of jet stream measurement methods and methods of its interpretation in aeronautical meteorological charts. Organization of aeronautical traffic in the north Atlantic region within reach of the jet streams is further described. Practical part of this thesis contains author’s own research which compares time and economical profitability of transatlantic flights planned according to the jet streams. The principle of this evaluation was based on assessment of real flights and flights via shortest possible routes. It was proven, that profits mentioned above are gained only in the oceanic parts of flights.
Web communication environment for unregistered users
Švec, Michal ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
The aim of thesis was to create a functional IM client focused on simplicity of operation without user registration. This thesis deals with different types of IM clients, their development and history. There are also described technologies used for creating web applications. The last part deals with development and creation of web IM client.
Surveillance system for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem
Švec, Michal ; Doležel, Radek (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
The master’s thesis describes IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) in terms of IMS core ele- ments (functional description, different implementation, signaling etc.) Communication protocols SIP and DIAMETER, together with SNMP protocol, which is used for collecting data are briefly described in this thesis.Thesis is also describing various IMS projects to- gether with Open IMS project, for whom was this surveillance system designed. Next part deals with architecture design of surveillance system along with management options implemented in surveillance system for users and administrators. The main part of master’s thesis deals with the description of the surveillance system for the experimental school Open IMS network and describes the remote configuration of core elements and monitoring of network traffic, together with the monitoring servers performance. The most of the data in the designed surveillance system are processed into graphs, which are regularly updated. The final part of master’s thesis describes the configuration and implementation of monitoring tools MRTG and NfSen that were used in created web based surveillance system.
Planning of the flight from Prague to Khartoum with the airplane Tatra T-101 in the footsteps of the record-breaking flight from the year 1938
Vlček, Richard ; Švec, Michal (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with a creation of the route and the pre-flight preparation for the repeating of the historical long - distance and record breaking flight from the year 1938 by a new constructed replica of the airplane Tatra T-101 in the present. The introductory part of the work deals with the historical record and the plane replica for detailed teach-in with the aircraft properties and targets, which have to be reached. Furthermore the work focus on single components of the flight plan preparation, where I checked the present possibilities of a real fligt performace with a new reconstructed airplane Tatra T-101.2. The last chapter analyses the meteorological situations and elements having immediate impact on the flight, inclusive utilizing of the day- and night- light. The analysis of certain meteorological elements contains data from the actual world airports. The work doesn´t deal with the routine pre-flight plan, but it is more the flight feasibility study.
Wind Influence on the Traffic Airports in the Czech Republic
Švec, Michal ; Hammer, Jaromír (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with surface wind, which is the wind that influences or limits take-offs and landings of aircrafts. It firstly mentions the meteorological causes of the wind, its characteristics in the atmosphere, effect of the ground relief to the wind and dangerous meteorological phenomena for aviation, which are caused by the wind. The next part is focused on the wind measurement from the general and practical point of view, which includes today’s measuring instruments. It describes the issue of wind components and their effect on take-offs and landings of airplanes, wind in meteorological reports and forecasts and AWOS system. Afterwards the evaluation of surface wind at Karlovy Vary airport was made using the described scales and methods.
