The institutionalized seniors education

The aim of the thesis is a pointing out the importance of educational activities in senior's life. The attention is focused on institutionalization of seniors education, its community support and educational possibilities for seniors. In the thesis are defined some basic concepts, the name of the science about seniors education, its subject and its position in the science system. Further there are noted some circumstances which was contributing to its formation, the importance of education both for seniors and for community. The attention is focused also on community support for seniors educational activities at the international, European and national level, on the preseniors and the seniors education.
Application of psychology in personnel management

It is evident from the name of my thesis that I am trying to connect through two disciplines - psychology and personnel management. My effort is to identify and show the application of particular psychology branches that are somehow connected with Personnel Management. I have chosen this topic, because I am interested in both of these disciplines and I am convinced that every theory should have utilization in practice - here in practice of personnel management. My thesis is divided into three parts. The first chapter brings out general problems of personnel management, explanation of concepts and making clear who really is involved in this process. Very important is a question of a status of personnel management in the whole company structure. The status has a great impact on the real personnel work. Second part concerns several psychology disciplines, which are in my opinion the most utilizable in personnel work. It is industrial and organizational psychology and personality psychology. I write about its history, concepts, main figures and particular knowledge. There is a lot of theories bounded with personnel work (e.g. motivational theories), but I am not describing every theory and I am not enumerating all of them. Bachelor thesis "Psychological problems related to leaving one's job" considers negative impacts related to leaving one's job, job loss, change of job status, change of status from employed to unemployed. The thesis theoretically summarizes existing problems in five chapters. It defines basic facts, informs about basic researches of unemployment impact on individua and family. The main part of the thesis describes psychological and psycho-sociological impact of unemployment. Its impact on physical and psychical health, family as well, which works as an important social support. The last part considers basic services one can utilize to improve the current situation. At the end is stated a casuistry showing a real example of married couple, when both of them lost their jobs.
Stress in the workplace

This BA thesis deals with the issue of stress and work-process-induced stress in particular. The introduction provides definitions of the conceptions of stress, stress reaction, and stressors. Further, an overview is presented of working load, where stress plays the above-limits role. The thesis focuses on stressors specific for the field of work and their manifestation according to certain professions, form of management of stress situation with the help of coping, the influence of personality characteristics for stress management, as well as definitions of the burn-out syndrome. The concluding part introduces some evaluation methods of workload and connection of work stress with the state of health.
Psychological problems of adult education

This work aims at the education process for adults. The issue is examined from the psychological point of view. First, the necessary central terminology, such as education, learning, docility, etc., is defined. Next, selected psychological education theories are mentioned. As to the styles of education, Kolb's empirical learning cycle is explained in details. Consecutively, internal and external learning conditions are engaged. Following chapter focuses on both adult student and lector personalities. The attention is also paid to the reciprocal relationship in the education (learning) process. A special chapter is dedicated to the influence of physiological changes on the adult learning process. The last examined issue is the contrast of program education and self-directed education.
