Copyright and internet-focused on personal data protection on social networks
Čapek, Martin ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Herein presented thesis focuses on a very complicated relationship between the Internet and selected law areas. Its aim is to emphasize the influence of information technologies on law; specifically it examines challenges which these technologies present to the copyright law and data protection. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first and the second chapter with respect to the comprehensiveness of the topic, which they describe, do not have ambitions to analyse the issue in detail; they rather present it in broader and more general context. On the other hand chapter three and four discuss specific data protection and social network issue much deeper. The conclusion of the paper is considered as a certain summary and demonstration of author's thoughts and opinions towards analyzed issue. The first chapter aimed to describe specific environment of the Internet including its origin and development. This chapter also deals with law aspects of the Internet while it presents various considerations that characterise the relationship between law and the Internet, their mutual interaction and challenges they have to face in this environment. The second chapter analyses historical transformations of copyright law and put them in context with growing significance that copyright law undoubtedly has...
Segmentace a odhad hustoty ve stehennim kloubu
Horáček, Jan ; Maršálek, Lukáš (advisor) ; Čapek, Martin (referee)
There are two basic ways of surgical treatment of femoral neck fracture - total endoprosthesis or a special metal screw in the bone. In case of a dense enough bone the screws are preferred. But for a too parse bone, the screw may cut through the femoral head, which results in further surgical operations. We present a novel method for femoral head density measurement, which serves as another hint for the doctor's decision, whether to apply a screw or total endoprosthesis. Our approach is based on semi-automatical femoral head segmentation from CT dataset based on finding optimal path through polar coordinates on axial slices. The cost function is based on a combination of corticallis properties, mostly the directional behavior of 3D gradients and their size in 2D slices, where they form typical "channels". The final volume is computed using filling and morphological algorithms and its properties are further measured. The final implementation was experimentally validated on RTG clinic of Bulovka hospital and allows radiologists to intuitively and accurately estimate the femoral head density in approximately 1 to 3 minutes.
Preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-yl-phenyle)barbituic acid
Strnadová, Iveta ; Kotoučová, Hana (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I dealed with preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-ylfenyl)barbituic acid by condensation of N-(2-oxazolin-2-ylfenyl) urea with malonic acid in the presence of acetic acid and acetic anhydride and condensation of the N-substituted urea with diethylmalonate in the presence of sodium ethoxide, too. Original substance for the preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-ylfenyl) urea was 2-aminophenyle-2-oxazolin, which was prepared from 2-aminobenzonitrile.
Word problems with topics from chemistry
Poulová, Anežka ; Novotná, Jarmila (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
The thesis is focused on verbal tasks within the subject of chemistry and consists of several parts. The introductory chapter contains a definition of the concept of verbal task, including the basic division of tasks, then the stages of solving the general verbal task and the approach to the solving of verbal tasks with chemical issue is mentioned. The second part summarizes the most common verbal tasks with chemical issue, their theoretical chemical and mathematical basis and offers various ways of how these tasks can be solved. The third part of the paper includes tasks that are an extension of the first part and serves as a sample of interesting examples (also in the terms of mathematical procedures) that are solved in chemistry. The author of the paper tries to show and compare different procedures for solutions and their influence on the efficiency and speed of calculation.
Adaptations of the Biblical Myth of Creation in the Treatises of the Corpus Hermeticum and in Philo of Alexandria and their Mutual Comparison
Čapek, Martin ; Chlup, Radek (advisor) ; Lyčka, Milan (referee)
AbstraAbstraAbstraAbstractctctct: This thesis deals with the adaptations of the biblical cosmogony, as portrayed in the fist two chapters of Genesi, in the hermetic treatises Corpus hermeticum I (=Poimandres), Corpus hermeticum III (= The Sacred Discourse) and in the work De opificio mundi ("On the Creation of the World") by the jewish philosopher Philo of Alexandria. All the three authors share the same common ground, which are the Bible in it's greek translation (Septuagint) and the contemporary greek philosophy, mainly the stoicism and the (middle)platonism. Although all of them strive to create some type of universalistic philosophycal-religious system, each of them reaches his goal by different means. The hermetists pick out of the biblical texts only those elements, which appear to them to be the most abstract and universal and they do not hesitate to add to them many of their own ideas, and to alter the text to make it look more scientific and philosophical than the original biblical myth. Philo also tries to create certain universalistic system, but proceeds in the opposite way. He tries to fill all the specificaly jewish elements, which hermetists ignore, with a new universal philosophical meaning. Apart from this, the comparison allows us to trace various differences between the teachings of our...
