The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of drawing funds from European Union in village Jiříkovice. The first part describes theoretical knowledge about the municipality and drawing subsidies from EU funds. The second part deals with the analysis of subsidies in village Jiříkovice including past and current programming period with the evaluation of the success in already implemented projects. Based on a structured interview with the mayor of the municipality, analysis of the external and internal environment and quantitative research is proposed recommendation including grant title for further development of the municipality in the current programming period 2014-2020.
Inadequate forms of nurture upbringing: the life consequences of social pathology

When living together, children and their parents can get into adverse situations. For example, parents might not keep on fulfilling their obligations to their children, they might indirectly support truancy, punishtheir childrenuncontrollablyinsteadof talkingthings out, or inhibit the children's development by alcoholism and other addictions. In this thesis, I theoreticallydraw on the concept of parenting styles that parents use while coexisting and dealing with their children and which may significantly influence children's subsequent development. In the practical part, I describe several case studies of families from the Příbram area on which I demonstrate parenting styles, conditions in which parents raise their children, and how such styles manifest on the children in the forms of intentional lying, emotional flatness, increased aggressivity,problems withestablishingrelationships,inclinationtowardaddictive substances, and rejectingone of the parents. Finally, I list methods which social workers might use to deal withtroublingsituations: analysis of familyproblems,professionalconsulting,active resolution and the setup of appropriate steps leading to a betterment of the family situations,followed by a professional support of multi-disciplinaryteams during case management.
Social Work with the Theme Death from the Perspective of Crisis Centers

89 Abstract The theme focused on the work of social workers, who work with people whose loved one has died, is very topical. Focusing on working with this topic is not so common, but it is very important to show that even social workers can work with such clients. The theoretical part defines social work, a social worker and their specialization specificity using the concept of PIE, further it deals with the method of crisis intervention, defines the terms related to death and possible reactions to it. The aim of the thesis was to answer the main research question: "How do social workers of crisis centers in Prague, with regard to the field specificity of social work, use the method of crisis intervention in situations of acute reaction to death?" To find the answear to the research question the method of grounded theory was used, but not in full, only its partial sections. The research was carried out with social workers of crisis centers in Prague. The research revealed how social workers at first get to know a client with an acute reaction to death and, subsequently, how they proceed. This thesis deals with the current state of donorship in the Czech Republic. It is primarily focused on comparing different forms of collections and opportunities which are enabled by online fundraising. Quantitative research deals with attitudes that donors have towards collections and fundraising. The work shows which forms of collection are the most acceptable for donors. The research is aimed at their trust in the effective use of the financial contribution by nonprofit organization.
Individual planningin low-threshold club for children and young people

In my master thesis I consider the individual planning agenda within low-threshold clubs for children and young people. Within my thesis I focus on determination of the terms "individual planning" and "low-threshold club for children and young people" especially I am focused on "Nízkoprahový klub Husita" low-threshold club. The nature of my thesis is theoretical - researching and its main goal is to increase the quality of individual planning agenda in NPK Husita. The practical part of my work is focused on analysing individual plans made in 2019, pointing out the difference between them according to the age of the person making the plan, their topics, style and setting the targets of the plans according to the individual planning agenda.
The value of the Child's Wish in the Contemporary Pracities of the Proceedings Regardiny the Adjustment of Legal Relations towards Minor Children

This Diploma Thesis is focused on the issue of the value of a child's wish in the framework of the divorce/break-up settlement. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the child's status, its right to participate and the means of ensuring that in the mentioned framework are presented. In this thesis, the term child's wish is also discussed in the context of defending child's own interest. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, there is illustrated the suitable way how to interview a child. The aim of the practical part is to, through half-structured interviews with the professionals taking part in this process and an analysis of those interviews, answer the main research question: How do the professionals taking part in the divorce/break-up settlement perceive and deal with the child's wish in this process? The research part of this thesis is also focused on the possible space for change in the contemporary attitude towards children as participants of trials.
The Profession of Social Worker

The profession of a social worker has a significant role in the society context. The task of the social worker is to help people to solve their problems, cope with difficult everyday life situations, provide courage for active solutions and reinforce the responsibility for one's own life. This thesis presents the social worker's profession and it is divided into six main chapters. In theoretical segment social work is defined in the first chapter. The second chapter contains information on history of the social work and analyses the current state of it. The third chapter is devoted to the ethics of social work, ethical dilemmas, ethical code and professional values. The fourth chapter defines the social worker's profession, mentions the required personal qualities and competences as well as its roles. Furthermore, it describes the characteristics of the profession itself and professional identity, studies the prestige of the profession and education of social workers. The practical part starts with the fifth chapter and it maps the opinions of social workers about their profession. The research strategy, the selection of the respondents and course of the survey and the data evaluation methods are described there. The final chapter interprets the collected data and provides their graphical depictions.
