System for Detection of APT Attacks
Hujňák, Ondřej ; Kačic, Matej (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
The thesis investigates APT attacks, which are professional targeted attacks that are characterised by long-term duration and use of advanced techniques. The thesis summarises current knowledge about APT attacks and suggests seven symptoms that can be used to check, whether an organization is under an APT attack. Thesis suggests a system for detection of APT attacks based on interaction of those symptoms. This system is elaborated further for detection of attacks in computer networks, where it uses user behaviour modelling for anomaly detection. The detector uses k-nearest neighbors (k-NN) method. The APT attack recognition ability in network environment is verified by implementing and testing this detector.
Security Tool for wifi Network
Hala, Martin ; Henzl, Martin (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
The main purpose of this tool is testing wireless networks security level for both personal and commercial use. It is based on latest knowledge about security of wireless networks. Key features are: portability - implemented on live linux distro, simple manipulation - well aranged GUI, testing - rich options of tests selection, security level evaluation - recommendations consequent on NIST standard.
Tool for Security Testing of WPA-PSK
Gancarčík, Lukáš ; Kačic, Matej (referee) ; Jurnečka, Peter (advisor)
This thesis is referring to the problems of securing a wireless network, to the possibilities of defending these networks and the implementation of the tool to test them. It discusses the usage of the nVidia CUDA technology to accelerate parallel tasks. The advantages of using this technology as well as the rise of performance compared to the results of a classic processor can also be viewed.  The conclusions of the tool used on a real wireless network are reviewed in the end.
Sport Timing System
Sláma, Jiří ; Jurnečka, Peter (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis describes sport timing system. Main goal was to create aplication, that covers  completely all requirements  of IT at sport competition. To these tasks belong creating web pages, schedule and then wireless launch of stopwatch. Aplication was implemented in IDE Qt with using programming language C++.
Application for Detection of Plagiarism
Kačic, Matej ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to create application, which can detect plagiarism in program code of projects without skeleton. It describes constructions of C/C++ language and their usage for detection of plagiarism. Projetcs are analysed by preprocesor, lexical analyse and phase of making structure of compare. After that they are compared one to each another by statistical test and Body test depends on Longest common subsequence.
Traffic Control System
Kačic, Matej ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to create an application which can do a simulation of model of road traffic system based on reality and can handle to manage signal control based on the proposed algorithm so that the road traffic should have a great performance and system should have a maximum throughput.  It describes a simulation model, different approaches in design of algorithm for management of the road traffic system and decribes in detail evolutionary approach for optimalization system of control crossroads.
Programming CUDA with C#
Zajíc, Jiří ; Kačic, Matej (referee) ; Jurnečka, Peter (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on GPU accelerated calculations on NVidia graphics card. CUDA technology is used and converted to implementation on a .NET platform. The problem is solved as a compiler from C# programing language to NVidia CUDA language with expression atrributes of C# language that preserves the same semantics of actions. Application is implemented in C# programing language and uses NRefactory, the open-source library.
Frame Generator Based on 802.11 Standard
Švanda, Pavel ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of the generator frames used for information transfer in wireless networks. At the beginning of the thesis there is described the introduction to the issue of data transmission in wireless networks 802.11 and the analysis of existing tools. Then it is designed language for describing the structure of their own frames and designed their own tools. The work also deals with the subsequent implementation of the resulting tool. Finally the results of the test are mentioned.
Wireless Intrusion Detection System Based on Data Mining
Dvorský, Radovan ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
Widespread use of wireless networks has made security a serious issue. This thesis proposes misuse based intrusion detection system for wireless networks, which applies artificial neural network to captured frames for purpose of anomalous patterns recognition. To address the problem of high positive alarm rate, this thesis presents a method of applying two artificial neural networks.
Device Location in Wireless Network
Szabó, Peter ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Kačic, Matej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of locating devices in wireless networks. It takes existing solutions as example and extends them using additional approaches. This thesis designs and describes the implementation of a prototype of a new proprietary indoor localization system used for locating devices within a WiFi network. In the final part of the thesis the testing of this system is described and its results are analysed and compared with another localization systems based on similar technologies.
