Education of children in the Terezín ghetto

The work is aimed at the lives of Jewish children and teenagers inside the Terezin ghetto during the years of 1941-1945. It describes the persecution of Jews, Nazi's intentions in the pre-war era and the reasons for the creation of Terezin ghetto. It concentrates on the lives of children in the girl's and boy's houses, which became very honorable due to their educational activities. It also mentions the literary works of these imprisoned children and the cultural activities they were involved in. The tuition programme, goals of education of the children and teenagers in Terezin are presented along with spiritual resistance, which was one of the key factors for development of such rich activities. Problems connected with the educational tendencies are also described. Study of gender stereotypes of students (both girls and boys) of the selected basic schools

The thesis is aimed at finding if the ninth-year students (both girls and boys) of selected basic schools have been affected by gender stereotypes, and if the gender stereotypes approach their ideas, perception and decision making. Besides gender concept, the theoretical part also includes chapters related to gender theories, attitudes, gender stereotypes, equal opportunities for men and women in occupation, and the role of men and women in a family. The central chapter deals with topics of gender and education. The practical part of the thesis is focused on determining students'attitudes towards gender area. Using questionnaire inquiry, the author has got data from 204 students (both girls and boys). The obtained data were faced with finding from the relevant literature.

TITLE: Assessment Centre SUMMARY: The thesis is concerned with technics of a personnel selection, that is called the "Assessment Centre", and adverts to possibilities of usage of the Experience pedagogy in the process of the personnel selection both in general and concretely in respect to technics of the "Assessment Centre". The thesis in its practical part covers the implementation of technics of the "Assessment Centre" in a particular company which select an employee for a position of a manager of GO parking business. The thesis in its research part primarly describes process of the recruitment in question and covers in details all technics and activities, on the basis of which the recruitment in question was carried out, and subsequently the thesis explains why the applied technics and activities were selected.

Markéta Kalinová Abstract The thesis titled The possibilities of individualisation, differentiation and personalization in teaching and learning strategies deals with teaching and learning strategies, forms and methods suitable for teacher's work in a mixed ability classroom. Theoretical basis results from the presupposition that every human being and naturally also every pupil is different and has their own educational needs. The thesis tries to find opportunities how to fulfil these needs within the framework of collective schooling. It also concerns the development of differentiated teaching in the history of education. The subject matter is also described in connection with the recent Czech educational reform. The empirical research describes a situation in one Czech basic school. The aim was to find out elements of differentiated instruction. Primary school integration of the handicapped child

Petra Doležalová Abstract The diploma dissertation is focused on an integration a handicapped child into the conventional elementary school class. There is a theoretical part concerning an integration problem in my dissertation. It specifies conditions which determin integration from the viewpoint of legislative, economic, pedagogical, psychological, family and public conditions. The practical part is focused on a specific case of integration. The results are from the three years of observation and evaluation the results. The results were found with the aid of questionnairies, interview-based assesments and documents analyses. There are summarized all found researches in the conclusion of the diploma dissertation. There are also described positives and negatives of integration for all participated persons. Šárka Vávrová Title: Work with elderly people in selected social institucions The work deals with the theoretical aspect of aging and the old age-from the biological and psychological point of view. You will find here information about the forms of social security for senior citizens in the Czech Republic. A substantial section of this work in devoted to the research of several selected social care facilities in the South Bohemian town of Strakonice. More precisely two homes for the elderly and nursing home, in which there was carried out a qualitative research and quantitative research, which takes place at the individual facilities on a regular basis.
