The costs of single phase of the building life cycle

The bachelor’s thesis determines the costs of individual phases of a building’s life cycle. The thesis explores a very broad subject which entails a variety of topics. The theoretical part concerns itself with building in general, costs of individual phases of a building´s life cycle and pricing in the Czech Republic. In its practical part, the thesis primarily dissects determining costs for the utility, maintenance, repair and reconstruction of a building during its life cycle. The process for the calculation of the total sum of financial costs in individual phases of the life cycle is shown in a table, which contains the costs for individual phases of the building’s life cycle.

Specifics of the costs of building construction throughout life cycle

Bachelor thesis deals with property life-cycle costs. The theoretical part informs about basic concepts and phases of the lifecycle. There are estimated costs for house in the practical part. These costs are divided into four parts. Assessed value of house using financial indicators is in the investment part. Operation, repair and liquidation costs are estimated. The whole cycle is included in the table which shows the cost of the lifetime for 50 years.

Thesis will focus on the analysis of trends in prices for residential buildings and creating a structural overview of the valuation of real estate in adjacent countries. Gradually describes the issue price and dividing them by building andvaluation practice, continues to next part of the work focuses on the description of civil engineering as part of the economy and the problems and history of valuation of real estate in the Czech republic.

Influecne of Ecological Factors on Construction

The aim of this thesis was to accomplish a research in the field of ecological construction and analyze the effects of environmental factors. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of ecology in construction, fundamentals of valuation, valuation of work and supplies. The case study is described by the effects of environmental factors, which influence the price of the building in the practical part of the thesis.

Active Employment Policy

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the active employment policy - mainly the instruments that the state uses to decrease an unemployment rate and to raise a level of qualification of the labour force. The first chapter defines the terms connected with the subject of this thesis, for instance the labour market or unemployment. Then the state employment policy and its dividing into active and passive policies is described. The second part is focused on the instruments of the active employment policy, their application and comparison. The third and last chapter deals with the analysis of the application and effects of the instruments in Pilsen region and includes also graphs.

Social system in Cuba

The thesis deals with the Cuban system of social security. The work focuses on general operation of social systems in Latin America and compares them with the Cuban social system. Thus, the thesis aims to explore the system of social security in Cuba, to describe its advantages and disadvantages and to show why the system is sometimes considered as more effective then other systems in this region. Attention has also been paid to the ageing of the population and how Cuba deals with this problem.
