The reason of study is to evaluation, which on based of the input values and calculation methods determine the economic efficiency of the project cogeneration unit on vegetable oil under mode purchase price and mode green bonus. Appreciation is also given to the overall legal review and responsibilities of cogeneration units on vegetable oil.
Mathematical description of VRB battery
Korniak, Daniel ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This work is in the introduction focused on the introduction of technologies for electrical energy storage, their description and capturing the main advantages and disadvantages. After this capture follows comparison of the various technologies in terms of efficiency , discharge time and the price for1 kWh . Following section focuses on electrochemical model VRB batteries , which describes the equations describing the behavior of a battery depending on the chemical an electrical properties . In the penultimate chapter, I introduced the language of object- oriented modeling language Modelica and the most common programs based on it, including a short introduction for modeling in MathModelica. The last part deals with the modeling of specific VRB battery, which we have at the faculty.
The grid-off Wind Power, Principle, Effectiveness, Return
Havránek, Miroslav ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with problematics of wind powered generators and their use in off-grid systems. In its first chapters aspects of wind as a power source are analyzed. Further on the thesis focuses on individual components of the off-grid systems. Also designing procedures of these systems are presented in the paper. The key parts of the thesis are 3 off-grid wind power system designs, which can be used to power a family house, and their energetical and economical evaluation.
Cooperation of micro sources within small smart grid
Cabala, Ľuboš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis concerns with design of micro sources and their implementation in Micro grid system. In the first part the work is aimed at definition of smart - grid, where describes their advantages, disadvantages and necessary changes, which has to be made in current distribution network for implementation this system. Further on the thesis concerns with detailed description of Micro grid, configuration of this kind of network, the issues in implementation and possibilities to provide ancillary services. The work also describes marginally virtual power plants, presents definition, components and types of virtual power plants. The final chapter describes the creation of micro sources in System modeler and subsequent testing of consumption cover to operate in island mode.
Biomass for power plants in the off-grid operation
Roule, Jaroslav ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis discusses the use of biomass for electricity island operation. The first chapter explains the concept of biomass and its distribution. It also shows the potential and availability of biomass. The second chapter describes the transformation of biomass into a suitable fuel form. The third to fifth chapter describes the conversion of biomass as a fuel into electrical energy through combustion, Stirling and steam engine. In these chapters there are brought the following parameters and prices of these motors and single-phase and three-phase alternators that can be connected to these engines. Other chapters describe the production of electricity in line with consumption, where the cost per hour to run engines for the various types of fuel and price of the electricity produced in kilowatt hours is calculated. In the last chapter of the thesis there is described the possibility of accumulation of electrical energy.
