Risk Asessment of Construction and Demolition Waste
Repka, Matej ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Hrabová, Kristýna (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the assessment of risks associated with construction and demolition waste. These are risks mainly related to environmental protection, safety and health protection of workers handling construction waste on the construction site, as well as technical aspects of the use of recyclates. The tools selected for this thesis to identify and analyse the risks are cause and effect analysis (Ishikawa diagram) and bow-tie type analysis. For the assessment of the identified risks, the methods selected are the risk matrix and then the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), which also deals with the design of measures for each problem, which aim to minimize the probability of occurrence and impact of the identified risks. Thus, the aim of the thesis is to identify, assess and analyse the risks and determine simple measures to eliminate or mitigate them.
Recuperation systems in automotive technology
Běhoun, Lukáš ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods of energy recuperation in the automotive technology. The first section explores the historical development of the recuperation systems spanning from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The second section is following with the division of the recuperation systems in accordance with the method of their energy storage and their transmission. This is consecutively supported by three examples of use for each of the systems. The third section offers a comparison of the individual cumulative units. Furthermore, it offers a comparison of all the types of systems used in bus transportation. The fourth section analyses the fuel consumption by a bus without a recuperation system and by an identical bus with the Bosch Rexroth recuperation system. This is supported by calculations. Subsequently, the above systems are scrutinized from an economical point of view. The last part deals with the possible development of recuperation systems in the future.
The concept of electric motors used in vehicles

Design of combustion chamber control
Bábíček, Ondřej ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is research of the testing process exhaust clamps. There is a description of a testing device designed to provide simulations of the real operating conditions on an exhaust assembly. The testing device is named the Hot Gas Test Bench. The thesis solves the optimization process of the test setup by determining the optimal fuel ratio, which is given by air flow as oxidizer and flow of natural gas as fuel. The input parameters which provide flow of mentioned fluids are speeds of blowers. In diploma thesis is created a design of initialization and control process to ensure the optional combustion ratio during the entire length of the test.

Path Planning Algorithms Visualisation
Řepka, Michal ; Uhlíř, Václav (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Finding of collision free path is central in creation of mobile, autonomous robot. Goal of this paper is to show the most important algorithms implementing such solutions. It also describes application that is being created to allow students experiment with these methods. For this purpose it uses library that was introduced by Jakub Rusnák in 2017, which means this is a continuation and possibly extension of his work.
Development of margin squeeze in comparison to the development of similar types of abuse of dominant position in the EU competition law
Řepka, Matěj ; Šmejkal, Václav (advisor) ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse how the margin squeeze developed within the reasoning of the European Union. Margin squeeze is a special type of abuse of dominant position. This type of abuse has massively developed in last years. However, we cannot say that it is totally new form of abuse as we can find certain cases that concern margin squeeze already in the 70s. Nevertheless, especially because of the liberalisation of network industries in the 90s, this abuse has substantially spread up and because of that there was a necessity to answer certain questions that were unclear until that time. This thesis is composed of four main chapters that are further composed of particular subchapters for the purpose to analyse this development. Chapter one is dedicated to general characteristic of the margin squeeze. This abuse is first of all classified as a special type of the abuse of dominant position according to article 102 TFEU. Afterwards, the chapter concerns about the definition of this abuse and its particular legal and economical characters. This all from theoretical point of view. Chapter two briefly discuss the most significant cases that concern margin squeeze and that were decided by European institutions. All these cases are ordered chronologically and the main goal is to describe its...
Research of Coatings of Hydrodynamically Lubricated Sliding Bearings for Combustion Engines
