Frýdek roofed grandstand

The work deals with a design of a steel structure of a grandstand with a roof at the football stadium in Frýdek-Místek. The floor plan dimensions are 50 × 14 m, the height is 16,4 m. The auditorium structure consists of lattice girders placed on main girders. Mono-pitched roof is supported by rods to columns. The construction material is S235 steel.
Steel footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists

The aim of the work is to design a steel footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists in Brno. This is a valley bridge where there is no road for vehicles. All motor vehicles are not allowed to entering the footbridge. The theoretical span of the bridge is 50 m, the height of the structure is 7 m. The bridge deck is elevated by 0,5 m in the arch. Two variants have been proposed. The more suitable one was selected by comparison according to several criteria, for which a detailed structural analysis and drawings were prepared.
Shopping center in Frýdek-Místek

The aim of the diploma thesis is to construct a steel shopping mall hall. The construction is located in Frýdek-Místek. The whole object can be divided in two parts. One part of the building is an atrium with a cross bridge made from glass. The roof construction of the atrium is designed as system of cylindrical lattice girders within purlins are set up. The other part of the construction is multistoried shopping mall with terrace designed as composite steel and concrete structure. The whole ground plan size of the construction is 72 m x 120 m. The height of the construction above the ground is 12.06 m. The cross-links are built up to 6 m one. There were created two versions of the construction. The most convenient version is described in more details. The outcome of the thesis is a comparison of two above mentioned versions. The whole project is based on officially recognised standard ČSN EN. The construction was designed in RFEM programme.
Pedestrian bridge in Hradec nad Moravicí

The aim of this thesis was to design and assess a footbridge over the Moravice River for pedestrians and cyclists, as the existing footbridge is in poor condition and it is narrow, so it doesn't allow convenient movement of pedestrians and cyclists. The footbridge is located in Hradec nad Moravicí and connects Žimrovická Street with the sports complex on Na Potůčku Street. First, four different variants were considered, from which the most advantageous design was selected, and it was then solved in more detail. The winning variant is a steel arch footbridge with a lower bridge deck, while the bridge deck is suspended on two rigid arches by means of tie bars. The span of the footbridge is 28 m, the span of the arch is 5.5 m, and the entire structure is made of S 235 steel except for the screws and system tie bars.

Steel Structure of Cultural Hall

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to design steel structure of the cultural hall situated in Moravské Budějovice. The dimensions are 32,6 x 62,0 meters and height is 13,5 meters. The main constructional material is S 355 steel. The load bearing structure of the hall consists of the truss frames with axial distance of 6 meters. Exterior building clading consists of trapezoidal sheet and other layers. The static analysis of the main load bearing parts of the structure is processed. The calcuation were made in accordance with the European design codes.
Sports Hall

This Bachelor`s thesis deals with the design and assessment of steel structure of the sports hall in Olomouc. The building dimensions are 30 x 45 m. Minimum headroom of the hall is 10 m. The supporting structure of the roof is formed by a system of purlins and truss arches with a span of 30 m, which are hinged on steel fixed columns. The distance between each crosslink is 5 m. The spatial rigidity is provided by transverse and longitudinal stiffeners. The steel S355 is used as the main material in load-bearing elements. The structure is designed according to standards ČSN EN. The work includes technical report, static calculation reviewing the major structural elements of construction and design of joints and drawings.
Botanical greenhouse

The thesis deals with design and structural analysis of the botanical greenhouse constructed from steel members. Greenhouse is situated in Zlín. Footprint of the building is 20x38m with 15m height. Structure is made from 7 steel trusses connected by hinges to pad foundations with are 6m apart. Trusses are connected via purlins and girts. General stiffness is provided by traversal and longitudinal truss bracings. The object is single nave hall with curved roof. The façade is made from glass rectangles.
Road bridge on road III/0462 over highway D46

This thesis deals with design of III/0462 road overpass over D46 highway near Brodek u Prostějova. There are 2 preliminary variants. First variant is a right bridge, whose main beams are tied archs. Second variant is a skew bridge with truss superstructure. In case of second variant there are three subvariants differing with truss design. Design and calculation is done according to valid standarts and other regulations for designing bridges.
Rail bridge over Morava river between Staré Město and Uherské Hradiště

This diploma thesis deals with the design and assessment of a railway bridge over the Morava River between Staré Město and Uherské Hradiště on line No. 341. The existing railway bridge has a span of 20,5 + 60 + 20,5 m. Five different variants with different static systems were developed. All variants of the bridge steel structure were designed and solved with a lower orthotropic bridge deck. To select the final variant, all variants were statically assessed and compared using multicriteria analysis based on the selected criteria. The final variant was subsequently assessed in more detail according to the applicable standards.
