Technological Possibilities of Using Waste Claystone for Manufacturing Refractory Grog burned in blast furnaces

Aluminosilicate refractory grog are being manufactured by firing refractory clays, claystone and shale. Firing takes place mainly in rotary or blast furnaces. However, when adjusting the raw material before firing in blast furnaces, the formation of the fine clay particles takes place. It is not possible to fire the fine particles in blast furnaces the usual way, which leads to the generation of waste. There is a possibility, however, to form briquettes of these particles, which can be fired in blast furnaces. This solution also brings the possibility of adjusting the mixture by using correction raw materials or other types of clay. Using this method, it is possible to produce a special refractory grog with specific properties.

Diploma thesis is dedicate to plan project which task is to improve communication on high school while it is going to use project and change management. The theoretical part is about basic knowledge of project and change management. Analysis of current state is done primarly with strategic analysis. Practical part include Logical Framework approach, risk analysis, budget etc. In this part we also choose and implement chosen IT solution. Benefits of the project and project itself is summarized at the end of thesis.

Web-Based Collaborative Real-Time Editor

Real-time collaboration editing is research area that has been studied for over 20 years. It involves multiple users editing a document such as plain-text, rich-text or an image concurrently over a high-latency network. Many problems involving consistency between users are associated with concurrent document editing, and an innovative technique called Operational Transformation developed by the GROVE (GRoup Outline Viewing Editor) system in 1989 addresses some of these issues. This paper will compare and contrast current implementations of real-time collaborative editors, and on the basis of this analysis describe the creation of a new web-based editor with support for concurrent editing. The design of our web editor will focus on methods of mutual communication between the individual instances of the editors, propagation of text changes, how to solve conflicts between multiple operations, and communication failures.

Implementation of standard ISO 27701 in the company using Gap analysis

This thesis analyses current state of the system for implementation of standard ISO 27701: 2019 extention. This standard extends already established standard ISO 27001. The thesis evaluates set of controls to the requirements of standard ISO 27701: 2019. Theoretical part contains information regarding the information security, describes a set of ISO 27000 standards as well as European and Czech legal acts related to information security. Following analysis of the company is performed with the application of security measures while implementing the extension standard ISO 27701. Contribution of this thesis is evaluation of the analysis which results from implementation of recommended standard to address the increased number of security threats and the protection of security information.

Detection of DNA/RNA fragments using graphene sensor and influence of upper electrolytic gate

Jedinečné vlastnosti grafenu, jako je biokompatibilita, vysoká mobilita nosičů náboje a povrchová citlivost, z něj činí vhodný materiál pro biosenzory. Cílem této práce je popsat a představit takové senzory a měření provedená za účelem detekce fragmentů DNA, konkrétně látek na bázi cytosinu. Grafen je v polem řízených tranzistorech zapojen jako vodivý snímající kanál. Dopování grafenu vyvolané adsorpcí molekul na vodivém kanálu způsobuje změny transportních vlastností grafenu. Tyto změny se odrážejí v měření elektronických odezev: měření odporu grafenové vrstvy reagujícího v reálném čase na přidávání různých roztoků a závislost odporu na průběžné změně hradlového napětí. Druhou metodu měření lze provádět FET senzorem zapojeným v konfiguraci se spodním nebo elektrolytickým horním hradlem. Je sledován rozdíl mezi oběma konfiguracemi a také vliv vzdálenosti mezi grafenem a horní hradlovou elektrodou na odezvu senzoru. Výsledkem těchto měření jsou transferové křivky vykazující typické píky označující bod neutrality (Diracův bod) grafenu. Různé koncentrace roztoku analytu vedou k různým hodnotám napětí Diracova bodu, což slouží ke kvantifikaci úrovně dopování grafenu.

Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of economic indicators using statistical methods. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes various methods and methods of financial analysis. In the practical part is created an analysis of economic indicators, which reveals the weaknesses and strengths of company. Based on the calculations, was determined a prediction for the following years. The design part contains recommendations for the company and an important part is also the application designed in Microsoft Office Excel.

Calendar App in WebAsssembly Environent

This thesis deals with the creation of a calendar application usable both as a desktop application and as a web application in the WebAssembly environment. First, the existing calendar applications and the data structures used in them are analyzed. Next, the design of the application itself is created, including the design of the graphical user interface and the library of data structures. The application is then implemented in C++ programming language using the QT creator and Emscripten tools and then properly tested.

Study of selective hydrogenation using KPFM

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of selective hydrogenation of graphene and their analysis. The theoretical part deals with the properties of carbon materials and different hydrogenation methods. Furthermore, it thoroughly describes the raster probe microscopy AFM and KPFM. The last part of the theory discusses a suitable method to analyze hydrogenated graphene, namely Raman spectroscopy. The results that have already been observed in previous research are discussed. In the experimental part, three methods for producing hydrogenated graphene samples are described, which are measured using KPFM and Raman spectroscopy. Finally, their results are compared.
