Simulation of QoS models in Opnet IT Guru environment
Zapletal, Lukáš ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of this work is description and following simulation of operating with support of QoS technology in OPNET IT Guru programme. The bachelor’s work contains a theoreticall description of providing the quality of service by force of integrated and differentiated services models and also of the MPLS protocol. The work is particularly focused on IntServ model and its reservation with assistance of the RSVP protocol. The simulation in OPNET IT Guru programme has also been included in the work. Process for constituent parameters setting-up and its characterization for both the models are described thoroughly in work’s supplement. As for the differentiated services, the simulation is performed by confrontation of a voice service in two scripts. In case of differentiated services the mechanisms for tagging of packets and the treatment method have been demonstrated on inside and border routers. Operating types are simulated in ftp, e-mail and voice applications. Verification of authenticity and validity results of objects setting-up is being performed by simulation in OPNET IT Guru environment, Academic Edition version 9.1. Grafical results have also been gained by the simulation.
Application of system catalogue for database management
Nečas, Jaroslav ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to create a design and subsequently the web application for a database management which uses the system catalogue of the Microsoft SQL database system. The introduction deals with the principle of the relational databases and includes the list of the most widespread database systems. The next chapter of the theoretical part describes the syntax of the SQL query language, and the next chapter deals with the properties of the system catalogue which were utilized. Finally, the last of the theoretical chapters is centred on the .NET platform and its technologies – particularly the ASP.NET and the ADO.NET technologies. The former is used for creating dynamical web pages, and the latter is an object library used for the data access. The practical part of this work comprises the web application scheme on which is the final web application based. The most emphasized issues in this part are the security and the supposed program design of the web application. The final part of the work contains a description of the finished web application, especially the configuration and the functions which the application provides to a user. And finally, the whole project is briefly evaluated in the conclusion.
Design and implementation of authentication method for accessing web service in PHP language
Pokorný, Jiří ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Uchytil, Stanislav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis describes the available principles of authentication for access to Web services. It compares necessary hardware, safety, financial costs, complexity of implementation and difficulty of maintenance and service. The second part deals with the design and implementation of a particular authentication method for access to Web applications in PHP using the MySQL relational database. There is selected the authentication method by SMS code with regards to mentioned characteristics of particular methods. It is also supplemented by the possibility of using a client certificate.
Design of algorithms for neural networks controlling a network element
Stískal, Břetislav ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is devided into theoretic and practice parts. Theoretic part contains basic information about history and development of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) from last century till present. Prove of the theoretic section is discussed in the practice part, for example learning, training each types of topology of artificial neural networks on some specifics works. Simulation of this networks and then describing results. Aim of thesis is simulation of the active networks element controlling by artificial neural networks. It means learning, training and simulation of designed neural network. This section contains algorithm of ports switching by address with Hopfield's networks, which used solution of typical Trade Salesman Problem (TSP). Next point is to sketch problems with optimalization and their solutions. Hopfield's topology is compared with Recurrent topology of neural networks (Elman's and Layer Recurrent's topology) their main differents, their advantages and disadvantages and supposed their solution of optimalization in controlling of network's switch. From thesis experience is introduced solution with controll function of ANN in active networks elements in the future.
Design and implementation of authentication method for accessing web service in .NET environment
Tenora, Lukáš ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Dostál, Otto (advisor)
Work deals with the authentication methods for access to Web services. The first part of the authentication methods are explained and possible safety risks. The second part describes the design and implementation of custom authentication Web service environment.. NET
Antispam protection of web pages
Orsák, David ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with questions of spam especially for web pages. The work specifies the term spam, history of spam and that individual division according to way diffusion and type sight. Here is decrypted questions legislature for spam and assessment consequences for this issue. With problem of spam is closely linked the botnets, which are main sources of spam, in this thesis is decrypted how botnet work and witch botnets are the biggest in this time that mean botnet which delivered the most of spam per day. The main part this work is to defined and decrypted different ways of spam protecting websites. Here are given type of protection from basic protection for hardy form protection, name CAPTCHA. In the practical part of the thesis offers some variants CAPTCHA, which could be reused for antispam protection for web pages
Optimization of Active Network Element Control
Přecechtěl, Roman ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of neuronal networks for the control of telecommunication network elements. The aim of the thesis is to create a simulation model of network element with switching array with memory, in which the optimization kontrol switching array is solved by means of the neural network. All source code is created in integrated environment MATLAB. To training are used feed-forward backpropagation network. Miss achieve satisfactory result mistakes. Work apposite decision procedure given to problem and it is possible on ni tie up in an effort to find optimum solving.
Implementation and testing of MD5 hash algorithm
Legéň, Michal ; Kacálek, Jan (referee) ; Malý, Jan (advisor)
Hash functions are one of basic structural components of modern cryptography. Their task is to create unique bit order for entry information called message digests. This way the inevitable integrity of information is secured because data transferring via different transfer media may be altered during the transfer. They provide a possibility of fast and effective encryption of passwords because of one-way as well. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyse one of the most well-known hash functions MD5, to implement it in programming language, to analyse its security risks and to try to use practical exhibitions to the benefit of an attacker. The bachelor’s thesis is presenting theoretical and practical part on Implementation and testing of MD5 hash algorithm. The introduction of the work is devoted to the basics of cryptography, to explanation of the concept of hash function and its basic attributes. The chapter 3 is focussed on the analysis of algorithm MD5 itself. The following part describes its implementation in programming language C++. The last two parts are about problems of security and weak sides of hash algorithm MD5. On the basic of existance of first order collisions, there is in practical demonstration presented creating two different programmes with the same message digest. The final part belongs to description of implementations of attacks on one-way algorithm MD5 and comparisons of their time possibilities during getting original information on the basis of their message digests.
