The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive and its application to the capital market of the Czech Republic

Application of MiFID on the czech capital market In this work we describe and analyze evolution of Czech capital market and crucial changes which are caused by implementation of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) to the Czech legal system. We use the interdisciplinary (legal and economic) approach when studying this subject. Firstly, we discuss the relation and difference between definitions "capital market" and "financial market". The interest is also focused on use of this terms in legal system. Then we describe basic changes in the historical evolution of the Czech capital market. In this section, we focuse our interest on the institutions which represent supervisory authority of the capital market. This historical chapter is structured on three basic periods: evolution of the capital market from its beginnig to the restauration in 1993, period of coupon privatization and the period of creation of diferent institutions which supervisored the Czech capital market. Further, the development of Czech legal system concerning the capital market is described. This section is divided in two separate parts - evolution of Czech and EC law. The Human Being in Riddles. Contribution to the linguistic Picture of the World in Czech

Riddles can refer to all spheres of human being. The thesis is based on contemporary theories and methods of cognitive linguistics and etnolinguistics: riddles can be seen as a specific semiotic system, which contains references to the certain way of understanding the world. The aim of this thesis is to define the linguistic picture of human being and human body in Czech folk riddles. The article of etnolinguist H. Kazancewa provides the methodical basis. Riddles can be classified: riddles about human ontogenesis are in the first group, rhyming riddles describing human body and its parts using neologisms are in the second group, riddles about organs and parts of the body are in the third group. Part of human body can be encoded on the basis of its appearance, or on the basis of its function, or both. Sets of organs in the second and in the third group differ. Head, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, hands (and arms) and legs appear in both groups - they have the central position in the linguistic picture of the human body in Czech. The second group of riddles encodes forhead, stomach, knees, feet and heels in addition. The third group of riddles encodes teeth, tongue, beard, fingers and ears in addition. (in English): The BA thesis focuces on the Russian imposture. It places this problematics into a larger context of the world history. It examines the phenomena of Russian imposture from the historic and folkloristic point of view. The folkloristic material comes from Central Russia, Volga Region and Ural region. In conclusion we consider general questions about mentalities, social ideals, utopias and peoples' models.
Flamenco as a reflection of andalusian popular culture

(in English) The aim of the thesis is to treat the topic of flamenco culture in the place of its origins. It interconnects filological and ethnographical data and the manner of perception of the cultural region of its origin. Its main focus is to describe the history of flamenco as a complex as well as its compounds. Its contents are dedicated to the history and the fundamental elements that participate on the formation and function of the culture itself. The emphasis lays on the expression of the dance, and the so called canto. The end of the thesis is dealing with the phenomenon of flamenco outside Andalucía, in this case the czech cultural region.
Village Lysolaje

The thesis analyses the ethnic identity of economic farmhouses in the village Lysolaje. The work is divided into three parts. The first part of research folk architecture from 1952 to 1953 called "description research" on folk culture 50s of the last century, the Ethnographic Society of Czechoslovakia. The second part of the material presents a historical evolution from inception. Describes farmhouses, work, old road administration's Ruzyne magistrate, statistics and modern-day attractions Lysolaje. Archival sources from the National Heritage Institute, building condition survey in 1952 and also from the 80s of the last century Lysolaje. Monsters in Folk and Popular Culture

The work is devoted to study the evolution of the concept monstruality throughout European history. In my work I try to show the monster as a phenomenon accompanying the history of humanity from antiquity to the present. Perceptions about the existence of these enigmatic and mysterious creatures in the course of history has changed. Gradually, the monster was pushed out of reality into the world of fiction literature and films, yet had kept its popularity and attention million people as a cultural universal.
