Use of fitness training in hereditary neuropathy
Vránová, Michaela ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee) ; Matouš, Miloš (advisor)
The aim was to assess exercise habits, handle the issue condition in patients with hereditary neuropathy and to clarify the possibility of using fitness training in this disease. We managed to show a reduced fitness of patients with hereditary neuropathy and its relationship with the severity of neurologic disability and mobility habits of individuals. The study results also show the positive effect of physical stress on condition of patients with hereditary neuropathy. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Gait disorders in hereditary neuropathy
Linhartová, Petra ; Horáček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Truc, Michal (referee)
Hereditary motor sensory neuropathy (CMT) exhibits characteristic symptoms, i.e. specific gait impairment. Little detailed information has been written on the gait analysis of this disease. The aim of this work was to collect information about gait disorders in patients with CMT, to perform a threedimensional gait analysis and prove the effectiveness of rehabilitation. There was a detailed kinesiological analysis, muscle strength test and Coda Motion System gait analysis done on one patient. The patient has visited rehabilitation for 12 weeks and after, the whole spectrum of examinations were repeated. Within the framework of the gate analysis there were the joint ranges in flexion-extension of the hip, knee and ankle evaluated and compared with the normal gait. After undergoing rehabilitation there was subjective improvement in the quality of walking and objective improvement compared to the initial examination's findings. This acknowledges the results of the kinesiological analysis, muscle strength test and Coda Motion System gait analysis. Results of this work provide an overview of the patterns of gait disorders in CMT and support the importance and effectiveness of rehabilitation in improving gait quality in CMT patients. Myofascial trigger point and sensation of vibration
Hurtová, Petra ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee) ; Čech, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main objective of the work name d "Myofascial trigger point and perception of vibration" was to evaluate the influence of local nociception in the form of myofascial trigger point over local vibration sensitivity. The subject of the research was trigger point in upper fibers of m. trapezius. Vibration sensitivity (vibration extinction threshold) a bove trigger point was measured using graduated Rydel - Seiffer tuning fork 64 Hz, its sensitivity was measured by pressure sensitivity (threshold of pressure sensitivity) using a palpometer. Following postizometric relaxation reduced this sensitivity. Thus treshold of pressure sensitivity was increased but perception of vibration above trigger point was not influenced substantially. Thus decrease of its sensitivity did not substantially influence perception of vibration above it. In the case of people with soreness of neck longer than 6 months, decreased vibration extinction threshold and tresholds of pressure sensitivity of examined trigger point were found. We assume that in case of these people, chronic nociceptive input influenced vibration perception ability through activation of antinociceptive systems in CNS which i.a. change processing of mechanoceptive component of somatosensoric information in CNS. The reduction in range of the dorsal flexion of the ankle joint as a symptom of children patients with CMT 1A
Judlová, Tereza ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee) ; Haberlová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis "Decreased Ankle Joint Dorsal Flexion as Initial Symptom of Children with CMT 1A Disease" is concerned with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and its early symptoms in children. The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the knowledge about the CMT disease on the basis of a research of available literature and it particularly focuses on specific characteristics of the disease in children patients, initial symptoms of the disease, development of the disease in childhood and the importance of functional changes of the ankle join in patients diagnosed with CMT 1A disease. The experimental part of the paper analyses initial symptoms of ten children in age range from 3 to 10 years diagnosed with CMT 1A disease. The thesis further critically evaluates the heel standing test as an easy diagnostic method in the early stages of the CMT 1A disease available for children from three years of age. The research also includes qualitative analysis of initial symptoms and comparison of the experimental results with a control group. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Verification of the effects of Vojta's reflex locomation in patients with peripheral paresis of the facial nerve
Dvořák, Martin ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis summes up findings concerning the pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnostic, and the therapy of peripheral paresis of the facial nerve, with accent on physiotherapeutical methods of treatment of such disorder. Here is also a description of Polyelectromyography that could become one possibility how to objectively judge the differences in the activation of mimical muscles in patients diagnosed with peripheral paresis of the facial nerve during various kinds of mimical movements. The practical part is concerned with and is talking about the use and application of my knowledge of the theory in practice with providing therapy to my patients suffering from peripheral paresis of the facial nerve by applying Vojta's reflex locomotion. The immediate effect of the therapy is here objectively and in detail analysed and described. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Obrazová databáze navržená pro rychlé a robustní vyhledávání snímků
Horáček, Ondřej ; Flusser, Jan
The task of the paper is to find originals of modified images, tipicallz stolen and republished on the web. Our problem is specific in terms of the database size millions of photos), demanded speed of the search (seconds), and unknown image modifications (loss of quality, radiometric degradation, etc.). The proposed method is based on image preprocess for normalization, retrieval of candidates from image index, and the candidate verification. Based on wide experiments, it was shown that the success rate of the search depends on the level of image modification.
Recognition of Partially Occluded Objects After Affine Transformation
Horáček, Ondřej
A method dealing with recognition of partially occluded and affine transformed binary objects is presented. The method is designed for objects with smooth curved boundary. It divides an object into affine-invariant parts and uses modified radial vector for the description of parts. Object recognition is performed via string matching in the space of radial vectors.
