Recruitment, Selection and Retention of the Employees in the Trade Company

The thesis focused on the characteristics fields of personnel service namely recruitment, selection and retention of employees. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse and evaluate the state of recruiting, selecting and retaining in a domestic trade company in the context of internal and external influence and subsequently, to formulate conclusions and recommendations for reducing employee turnover in the trade company. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on current theoretical knowledge regarding employee recruitment, selection, retention and turnover. The practical part analyses the state of HR activities in the studied trade company, with an emphasis on two different groups of employees, according to the type of their occupation. Following the analysis, we evaluate the assessed facts while maintaining a differentiated approach to different work positions. Finally we recommend which changes and activities should be implemented to improve unsatisfactory personnel processes and to eliminate the undesirable progress of employee turnover in the trade company.
Talent management

This thesis deals with talent management. Its aim is to identify the best practices in talent management based on secondary and primary research of selected talent management programs. The theory is focused on definition of strategic HR management and especially talent management as one of its priorities. It is followed by explanation of the basic concepts of talent (such as high-potential, high performing and key employees) and talent management. Further descriptions of talent management process as well as TM challenges are included. The practical part is divided into two main sections. The first one is related to research in four companies and evaluation of their current talent management programs. Due to the fact that Generation Y is still more and more included in talent pool, the second part covers description of work life from its point of view. The final section contains a summary and the best practices.
Work motivation and employee satisfaction

The goals of this thesis are: analysis and evaluation of emloyee satisfaction in an education company, identification of factors with negative influence on employee job satisfaction and to present reccomendations to remove or at least mitigate possible negative consequences on employee motivation and to improve it. To obtain results a survey among employees using a questionnaire and an interview with a member of company top manamegent have been carries out.
Analysis of Recruitment at Auto Jarov, Ltd.

The thesis analyzes the process of personnel recruitment at AUTO JAROV, Ltd. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the theoretical background of the process of recruitment, there are required process steps listed and characterized. The practical part deals in detail with the specific analysis of the process of recruitment in the company AUTO JAROV, Ltd. The practical part also includes a chapter, which contains a SWOT analysis of recruiting graduates identifying strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats. On the basis of this analysis there is a recommendation to increase the efficiency of getting graduates into the company. This work is based on the study of literature and on valuable information and documents provided by Mgr. Lenka Kočárková, the personnel director of the company AUTO JAROV, Ltd.
Efficiency of recruiting employees for ExxonMobil

The thesis focuses on the evaluation of the efficiency of recruiting employees in ExxonMobil Corporation. The main aim is to evaluate methods that are used to reach MPT Experienced hires. The theoretical part describes the recruitment process and the traditional and modern methods of attraction. The practical part introduces the reader to the situation on the labour market in the petrochemical industry, presents ExxonMobil Corporation and evaluates methods of attraction, which are used in six selected states of the European Union for filling positions with MPT experienced hires. In the end the ideas that could contribute to the development of regional sourcing strategy of MPT experienced hires will be suggested.
Influence of corporate culture on employees’ motivation.

This work is focused on defining the relationship between corporate culture and employees' motivation on the example of EVRAZ ZSMK. The work includes analysis of corporate culture and recommendations for improving the current situation. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part describes the basic concepts, definitions and classification of culture in the organization. The practical part deals with the evaluation of data obtained from internal documents and through a questionnaire survey. The goal of this thesis is to create a system of personal recommendations for EVRAZ ZSMK and also demonstrate that the corporate culture has an impact on employees' motivation.
