Street art, stickers and graffiti

This bachelor work is concerned with graffiti and street art. It is focused on these phenomenons, what they are for us, why they appeal and how they influence our culture in the space of graphic design, illustration and the other way around. I try to create my own street art and place it in public space, I show on example of my illustrated book how much I am influenced mysem.

Hánlová, L.: The Human animal: Aggressive behavior of pupils in Art education /diploma thesis/, Prague 2011 - Charles University, departmentof art education, 135 s. (Appendix: student questionnaire, analysis of data collected by means of the student questionnaire, photographs of artwork made by 6th grade students) This research study is concerned with the problem of aggression among children in school. It is intended as a qualitative study; opinions of the schoolchildren regarding aggression serve as the main material for the research. This is considered on three levels: in nature (among animals), in society (among people) and also among the pupils themselves. The metaphor of the human animal is used to describe the aggressive behaviour of a person, as well as a starting attitude towards aggression. This is here understood as a naturally good quality of people. The study is presented as an active study of 6th grade pupils. I also hereby present the idea of the socially preventative didactic project in artistic education with the theme of aggression; thus also presenting its history and results. I conceive the research within a framework of a grounded theory, and therefore in the conclusion of the research I construct the theory of aggression in artistic education. Castellology as a historical-cultural inspiration source in art education

The dissertation thesis "Castellology as a historical-cultural inspiration source in art education", is dedicated to the historical discipline castellology and its developing aspects shared with art education and general education. One of the main parts of the thesis is the finding of historical connections between ancient disciplines and their intentional and functional influences in a social sense. In terms of historiography there are also some articles devoted to selected authors, whose influence was fundamental to both disciplines. The thesis surveys not only a historical point of view, but also the contemporary situation. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the theoretical part. From the information gained in terms of historiography, it was necessary to include research on a teacher's personality. The empirical research surveys the frequency and usage of themes and subjects connected with castellology in the lessons of art education by pedagogues at secondary school level in the context of their personal interest. The investigative and the theoretical parts are dedicated specifically to the Czech environment. In both cases foreign settings are only briefly covered.

Graduted work "Cosmological Themes and Geometric Conception in islamic art" is about relationship betweewn religion and cosmological themes in philosophy opinions and their influence to fine art. Theoretic part is about signs of islamic art and give a simply look on religious, science, philosophic, generaly cultural and art influences of islamic culture of "Golden Age" to global culture. The next part is about cosmologie. Third part is about influence of cosmological themes to geometric forms in individual examples of fine art. The last part is about expresive interpretation symbols of cosmologii and geometry. Practic part have video form of own dance creative, which is expresive interpretation influenced by theme od diplom work. Pedagogic part is koncept of Art Project for second degree of Basic School (High school) , which is partly documented and reflected in practic works

This work is about contemporary vizuality and especialy about photography in art education process. I think that picture and photography today in art education concepts is very important and can to children help to decode many latent symbols and informations. My work will give some keys for understand very difficult problems, which are saved into reality. Look at the real scenes of world and at pictures is the same as walk through the photographic gate. This GATE contains many other wals which way the children can use. Photography can be one of many ways how transformed and think reality, how discover mysteries of life and how touch a part of real time. Children and vizuality is one big area for art and art-education at school, especialy on basic school. Good teacher must be good manager of thinking - in this area of goog thinking during the (photo)picture. 1 feel Photography as fundamental problem in univerzity program of art.
