Simulated Verification of Complex Technology Project

In the introduction, doctoral thesis as a complex technological project uses the summary title Stability of production. Stability of production is defined as a maintaining the required properties of the system over a given time period. Stability of production, based on the literature study included: – generally known systems and concepts, for example Process Stability, System Stability, Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing, etc. – less-known systems and concepts, for example Maintaining the fidelity of the production program, Stable order-sequence concept. The practical part of the doctoral thesis is focused on the less-known concept: Stable order-sequence. The task of the Stable order-sequence is to follow the sequence of orders given by the planned production program in the course of the production and at the end of production. Maintaining the sequence of the orders has a positive experience in the logistics activities between the final producer and its suppliers. As it was found by the planned experiment for a full factory plan, the sequence of orders in the material flow of original equipment manufacturer is influenced mainly by: – the cause of the removing orders from material flow, – the effect of the causes LIFO stack vs. branched material flow, – the effect of the causes LIFO stack vs. branched material flow vs. the removing from the material flow. By the analysis of Stable order-sequence, it was found that the methodology of the concept contains deficiencies. It does not state how to choose for example the size of the time period, time interval, data editing etc. By this lack, the subject can skew the results in the evaluation of the indicator PFT0 up to 4 %. Or by using of suitable adjustment, the value of the indicator PFT0 can be improved more than 50 %. To test the concept of a Stable order-sequence in practice has been designed technological project with the support of discrete-event simulation. It was about the implementation of new management logic to the stack behind the welding of original equipment manufacturer. The new logic of management was designed with an emphasis on Stable order-sequence concept, to arrange the orders in process according to the planned sequence. On the base of the functionality verification of the new stack logic, it was found that the logic affects the sequence of the orders, but not fundamentally. In tracking the hourly intervals for 25th calendar week 2013, the value of PFT0 was not improved in 37 cases, the value remains in 30 cases and the value was improved by the value of the median 18,68 % in 30 cases orders.
Production of gas valves on the automatic line

This thesis deals with the evaluation of manufacturing gas valves on the automatic line and the design of CCTV systems to detect errors at assembly in Honeywell Czech Republic Ltd. The aim of this thesis is mutual comparison of the respective proposed options of the camera system, their optimal selection, and the evaluation of detected errors of the line by using Pareto Charts. An integral part of this work is a brief description of the automatic line for gas valves and the history of Honeywell Company.
Technology for PC-box side production

The project developed as a part of continuing master’s program in the field of M-STG Mechanical engineering technologies introduces a technological proposal of producing a side panel of computer case. Based on the research of published studies on the topic of surface forming and methods of production of shape openings in sheet-metal, we chose the variant of production of parts using punch press and press brake and selected appropriate material – steel with protective zinc and aluminum coating. Based on the research of published studies on the topic of computer cases we processed analyses of shape designs and chose optimal variant, for which we prepared calculations of production costs in comparison with other proposals.
Solution and proposal of material handling in industrial production

The purpose of this study became the theoretical interpretation of the technological projection region, handling technique and material flow used in industrial production. In the practical section is presented the concrete company where we change the method of manipulation transportation. This change is suppported by economical investment return of this capital cost.
Experimental verification of powdered plastics coating with painting shop layout

This thesis deals with an experimental verification of powdered plastics coating on a component with a painting shop layout. Part of this thesis is looking for the best kind of a paint which meets the wishes from the company such as specific dielectric strength or cladding thickness. The selective variation is drown up into the technological project. At the end of the thesis there is a technical-economical evaluation of the project, focusing mainly on the efficiency of the investment in new mechanical equipment and on the economic return.
Technology project and layout for holder

The project conceived within engineer‘s studies of branch 2303T002 is showing holder produce technology using by the company UniTools Press CZ Valašské Meziříčí. This holder is a part of car seat-adjusting system dedicated for Peugeot 308. According to the literary research, next part of this project is submitting two diferent solutions of produce technology and then it chooses the best one. The best one is chosen with the help of weight values table. The holder is produced in associated tool on press Arisa 400 with nominal force 4000 kN. The holder is manufactured from the roll of sheet steel S355MC (thickness 3mm). In the last part this project is suggesting the modification of produce technology in order to increase tapping tool working life and to increase the production productivity. This thesis deals with technological project of production of rotating parts, more design layout of the workplace light machining - turning in the company TOS KUŘIM - OS, a.s.. Workplace design is based on both the requirements of company and the principles of technological design. Part of this thesis is the design of three variants of machines arrangement, which are evaluated. Selected of the best option is further elaborated in detail the calculation of capacity, drawing documentation, and economic-technical evaluation.

This Diploma thesis is aimed at testing centre at the assembly line for boarding steps and ramps for rail vehicles. This project describes various activities and issues associated with the testing of these products. The project also evaluates current testing processes and proposes optimal future state and recommends solutions necessary to achieve this. A new design of a testing centre is also developed.

The aim of the thesis is to elaborate the technological project for non-rotary (plate) parts production based on requirements of TOS KUŘIM – OS, a.s. The literary studies from the area of machining technology and technological designing are in the first part of the thesis. The evaluation of the contemporary state of production and dividing of products into groups is made in the next part. The following part of the thesis is dealing with the design and analysis of designed variants of disposition, choosing the most suitable variant, its optimalization and evaluation by the help of capacitive calculation. The drawing documentation (material flow included) and technoeconomic evaluation is elaborated in the final part of the thesis.
