The importance of marketing communications for a company

The diploma thesis is focused on the marketing communication of selected political parties and movements, which participated in the election to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. The thesis provides a comprehensive approach to the use of marketing communication tools of political parties and movements during election campaigns. The thesis contains a definition of marketing itself on a general level to classify marketing communication within the field and to understand the context. Subsequently it is focused on marketing communication tools, which voters had chance to see and through which the parties tried to get voters to their sides. The important aspect of composing communication tools of the election campaign is the financing, as political parties and movements have to respect legal restrictions on the political parties funding and election campaigns. These restrictions were firstly applied in the election to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. The thesis describes basic limits as well as the administrative office exercising the supervision in this area. Subsequently this thesis provides summary of all marketing communication tools along with the evaluation of strengths and weaknesses of each political party or movement....

Potential-driven On/Off Switch Strategy for the Electrosynthesis of [7]Helicene-derived Polymers.

3-([7]H elicen-9-yl)-thiophene hybrid monomer was electrooxidized in acetonitrile by cyclic voltammetry with anodic potential limits of +1.5 V or +2.5 V, resulting in a conductive and non-conductive polymer, respectively. The electrochemical findings were supplemented by microscopy investigations; UV-Vis, fluorescence and vibrational spectroscopies, ellipsometry measurements and computational chemistry. The electrodeposited polymers could be used for the further development of materials applicable in organic electronics and sensing technologies.

Web User Interface for a Information Extraction Tool

In this work you can read about the design and implementation of the JavaScript application, which serves as a user interface for the data extraction tool. The application offers an environment in which the user manages extraction tasks. Tasks are created using interactive graphs. This functionality is achieved through the current modern trends in JavaScript applications that are described in the work. In particular, it is a React library and Redux state manager.

Letošní ročník byl dvěma nosným tématům, které jsou pro NTK aktuální: problematika vyhledávání a zpřístupňování obsahu vzhledem k vzrůstajícímu množství informací spolu s fyzickým objemem sbírek a problematika indexování netextových dokumentů.

Cílem účasti na mezinárodní konferenci Plone byla seznámení se a zaškolení do nové verze aplikační platformy Plone 5, která dnes představuje nejmodernější framework pro vývoj serverových aplikací v prostředí jazyka Python. NTK má za úkol vyvinout a nasadit novou, generačně pokročilou verzi služby elektronického dodávání dokumentů pro účely své i pro účely národního projektu Centrální portál knihoven a Plone se jeví jako vhodný kandidát pro její platformu. Výhody frameworku Pythonu jsou úplná otevřenost kódu, vysoká míra abstrakce a snadná přenositelnost.

Role of forest in water regime and local climate

Nowadays human society is dealing with comparatively essential problems, such as lack of water and chmate changes. Forests are able to use a great amount of solar radiation efficiently to change liquid water to water steam alongside climate cooling down. Scientists Makarieva and Gorshkov made up a theory which claims that forests are also generators of air humidity. The process is absolutely necessary for replenshing fresh water on land. This theory is based on gradient of pressures among different places. Air flows from places with lover evaporation and higher pressure (ocean) to locations with higher evaporation and lower pressure (forest). In this thesis are described basic mechanisms of theory of biotic pump. Simultaneously there are stated several examples of deforestation, which resulted in significant reduction of precipitation in that area and reduction of accessibility of water for human society. There are also mentioned several examples of attempt to revitalize desertificated area, where the effort is to make cultural landscape to imitate natural vegetation. These projects are primary based on retaining rainwater.

Legal and economic aspects of foreign direct investment considering Egypt

The purpose of this thesis is to look at economic and legal aspects of foreign direct investment (hereinafter also referred to as FDI) on the example of Egypt, which is one of the key economic and political players in the Middle East and North Africa. The paper is composed of two parts. First part is dealing with the theoretical aspects of FDI. Chapter one is introductory and explains the nature and role of FDI in global economy. Next two chapters address the important issue of definition of investment and investor. The legal definition of these two terms is usually the key issue in the international documents concerning foreign direct investment. Fourth chapter deals with the bilateral investment treaties, which are so far the most relevant instrument governing the international investment. Chapter five deals with the unsuccessful attempts to establish universal international treaty concerning investment, influence of the Lisbon treaty on given issue and international organizations in the field of international investment. Chapter six concentrates on the issue of investment treatment standards. Seventh chapter investigates the most common causes of investment disputes and eighth chapter suggests possible means of their resolution. Long-term Preservation of Web Content

This work describes the long term preservation of digital documents, particularly websites. The aim of this work is to give an explanation of the long term preservation, to define the differences between various approaches and to describe long term preservation of web content possibilities such as migration or emulation. It also explains risks and challenges of these strategies. It discusses new problems which the long term preservation aim leads to. It also describes possible solutions as well as it describes the situation in selected significant foreign institutions. The main aim of this work is detailed analysis of long term preservation strategy in theNational Library of the Czech Republic, which is the only institution engaged in the preservation of Czech web. The process of data preparation, metadata creation and data storing in the long term repository of the Czech National Library is thoroughly described, including examples and their explanation.
