Artmarketing - marketing at the theatre

The main accent of this text is dedicated to a research of a marketing mix in the theatre (including produkt, place, promotion and price). Each of the marketing instrument is always analysed considering the specific of theatre. Next part of the text is dedicated to an audience and its behavior. In the last but one chapter the theatre planning is beeing described. Next to its improtance (setting the mission and goals), the text aslo describes the planning process. At the end, the brief description of some general arts marketing principles is defined.

Theater and its Audience

The inception of the work defines used notions in connection with theatre-goers (public, mass public and theatre, audience, onlooker). The following chapters are devoted to onlookers educational programs, theatre-goers club, and are supplied with examples from history and present of Prague theatres as well. The pivotal part of the work brings universal view at audience development. It describes possible motives and even barriers of theatre visit rate, segmentation of onlookers, and concrete instruments how to evolve the relation between theatre ? onlooker. The semifinal chapter describes Prague theatre-goer scope. At the end there is shown the problem of Divadlo Na Zábradlí theatre-goers. The whole work is completed with statistic dates and results of research ?Theatre onTV?, whereof was used eight questions of the authoress of this work.

Representation of Theatre in News-Reels

Bachelor thesis ?Representation of theatre in news-reels? research appearance of the theatre and the theatre themes in individual editions of the Czechoslovak news-reels, which developed between the years 1945 and 1989. This work introduces us to the news-reels history, process of its manufacture and structure of news-reels. It briefly describes cultural-political background in Czechoslovakia during this period. This thesis lays out the database, which includes brief descriptions of the shots containing theatre. The thesis ultimately explores this database and proposes its further development and possibility of usage. It also emphasizes the question of audiovisual recording of theatre, its importance and exploitation.

Theatre on the frontier

The subject of my bachelor thesis are problems of Czech and Polish interrelations in the frontier region Tesinske Slezko. I endeavoured to record a development of contradictions between two nations and sketch problems of Tesinsko region, which has locally big influence over political and cultural field and mainly over human relations. This thesis is farther focused on the only bilingual theatre in Czech Republic ? Tesinske divadlo in Cesky Tesin. My aim was briefly outlined its historical development from its beginning til the year 2007 and brought closer working principles of this theatre with two ensembles ? not only cultural principles, but also economical and organizational ones.
