Heat Pump in the Heating System
Andrš, Matěj ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of heating of a newly built family house. The theoretical part introduces heat pumps and deals with their basic characteristics and types of heat pumps. The calculation part describes the specific design of the heating of the building and the design of individual components in the heating system. A ground/water heat pump is proposed as the heat source, where heat will be extracted from the ground using deep boreholes. The heating of the building will be done by underfloor heating. The hot water will be prepared in a heat pump. The technical report then describes the design and technical requirements.
Solar hot water storage tank
Vyhlídalová, Karolína ; Vranayová,, Zuzana (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The solar hot water storage tank is off great importance in the solar collector array. It allows transformed energy accumulation thus deals with the inconsistency between supply and demand. The suitable design of the storage tank can improve system efficiency. The storage capacity represents the balance between the amount of stored hot water and the tank's heat losses. The design of the storage capacity is based on three hypotheses. The coverage of hot water demand by solar energy, the ratio between storage capacity and solar thermal collector area and the prediction that the storage capacity corresponds to one- to twofold hot water demand. The purpose of this thesis is to share an understanding of the solar storage tanks design and to improve the design through numerical simulation, experimentations and general calculations. It also focuses on the confirmation of the used hypotheses and determination of the best way to design the solar storage tank for general practice and further potential discussions. The simulation model has three variables – the storage capacity, collector area and the number of occupants. The intent is to find the interdependence of these three variables. The purpose of the simulations is to modify the design of the solar tank based on the mutual influence of studied parameters. The modifications are performed based on the users' needs.
Energetic evaluation of civil buildings
Pliska, Roman ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The first section of this thesis describes possible energy savings in family houses. Subsequently, possible energy savings are applied to, and a system revision is presented for, an office building, along with a calculation of the return on investment for the described variant based on notice 480/2012 Sb. The final section focuses on the measurement of the indoor environment at an administrative building (CO2, air temperature, relative humidity) and their assessment according to the current legislation.
Energy assessment and certificate of energy performance of buildings
Bidmonová, Renata ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the energy assessment and elaboration of energy performance certificates of the building. The building is an apartment building in Vítkov. The theoretical part deals with centralized heat supply. The calculation part contains a more detailed description of individual relationships and calculation procedures that are used to process energy performance certificates of the building. Furthermore, proposals for measures to improve the energy performance of buildings. In this part there is also a proposal of individual equipment of the new boiler room and thermographic measurement. In the project part there is an energy assessment assessing the building in two variants with individual heat sources. The evaluation is carried out from an energy, economic and environmental aspect.
Energy performance of kindergarten
Mahovská, Adriana ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis elaborates two energy performance certificates of kindergarten in the variant for the current status and the new state. The theoretical part deals with solar collectors. Computational part contains specification of building structures and power systems. It always includes a comparison of the default and the new state. The economic assessment is determined by the return on investment in revitalization. As part of the mandatory analysis of alternative sources, a proposal for a solar system for partial hot water heating will be established. The project part contains two processed EPCs (building energy performance certificate) for this building.
Logistics Concept with a Focus on Material Flow Management
Lojek, Jindřich ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the material flow analysis in the company. Various methods of analysis are used in the analytical part, in order to determine whether the component is meant to be stored in the shelf or whether it will be picked at the request. The practical part will analyze the material flow of a specific production line. The appropriate changes in the material stock in the production area will be suggested based on the analysis. The quantity and the method of material ordering from the warehouse will be defined for the material stored in the shelf.
Heating type of hotel building
Rulíšková, Pavla ; Ambrožová, Iva (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes design of hotel and restaurant heating. The work is divided in several parts. The first part presents theory of cascade boilers. There are described the basic parts of this systems, their design and regulation. The second part is devoted to calculations. There are calculation of heat losses, design of radiators, design of heat source, pipe dimensionig, hydraulic assessment and desing of safety devices. In the third part is attached technical report and drawings of radiators connection a and drawings of boiler connection.
Designing an environmentally advanced building
Dubisová, Daniela ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The goal of the master project is to design the reconstruction of an environmentally advanced building. The building is of administrative character with a multifunctional part on the first floor. It has four floors. The first two floors will be used as a co-working space and the other two can be rented to a permanent company. There is also a conference room in the building. The work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the architectural and structural design along with the fire safety design of the buildings. The reconstructed building has a reinforced concrete existing bearing system, which remains unchanged and will be supplemented with a cavity block masonry cladding with insulation. A vegetated roof is proposed. The second part deals with the concept of the building environment technology. Retention tanks are designed with usage of rainwater for flushing system in the first two floors. A total of 112 photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof. Air-conditioning is designed in all zones of the building, cooling is in the multifunction room and the administration room. The chosen heat source is a hot water pipeline because of the close distance from the supplier Teplárny Brno, a.s part Špitálka. LED lighting is designed in selected rooms. The third part consists of the assessment of various options for modification of the building cladding constructions with the aim of better thermal insulation capabilities. Four methods and their combinations are considered. Based on certain factors, it is evaluated which methods are recommended for the building.
Evaluation of energy consumption of the football changing rooms
Kabzáni, Matej ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of energy intensity football dressing rooms. The result is energy performance certificatee and subsequently energy report. I suggest some measures for improving the energy characteristics of the building, or to improve the building envelope or to reduce heat consumption for heating HW. Subsequently these measures were economically evaluated.
Systems of energy efficient buildings
Šlampová, Kateřina ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is systems of energy efficient buildings with a focus on the building envelope. The first theoretical part describes the quantities that we consider when designing the building envelope. The second half of the theoretical part is with reference to the experimental part of the thesis focused on a special type of vertical perimeter structure, namely walls with live vegetation installed from the outside of the structure. The second, practical part of this work, deals with the design of heating and hot water supply for a multifunctional building. The design is elaborated in two variants - heating by means of radiators in the first variant and in the second variant by means of floor heating for residential units of the solved building. The third part define an experiment, which had the task of comparing the measured quantities on two types of vertical perimeter structures, namely a structure with growing greenery from the outside and an identical structure only without a layer of greenery. At the same time, the task was to check the possible influence of the applied greenery on heat losses, and thus the design of the heating system.
