Cost analysis of low quality at the selected Manufacturing Company
Uherka, Dominik ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Rozehnalová, Jana (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is cost analysis in XYZ CZ s.r.o. with aims of reducing warranty costs and improve product quality. The introduction describes fundamental quality management systems from which I have selected data to be analyzed and propose the most appropriate solution. Then I conducted AS-IS analyze of the company XYZ CZ s.r.o., a description of the current situation in the company and a cost analysis. The data obtained from the cost analysis I processed with the help of quality tools and their evaluation was carried out, which was followed by the design of the solution. In conclusion, I conducted a technical - economic evaluation of the results achieved.
Virtual commissioning of palletizing / depalletising workstation
Čefelín, David ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealt with the virtual commissioning of a palletizing line, which is palletized using an industrial robot. In the theoretical part I describe the applications, divisions and effectors of the industrial robots and the reasons and the benefits of palletizing. Furthermore, the issue of virtual commissioning is described, including sensors, that are served for the proper operation of the workplace and the virtual simulation. In the practical part I describe the future workplace, creating a simulation and the program in the RobotStudio software.
Design of belt grinder
Man, Lukáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This Master’s thesis concerns the construction of Belt Grinder. The research part deals with types of designs used in Belt Grinders, grinding technology and analysis of grinding/sanding belts which are used for grinding. With use of qualitative methods as Fault Tree Analysis and Quality Function Deployment, the whole topic is taken apart in more detail, so the topic of Belt Grinder is easier to understand. In the next part of the work, the necessary parameters are calculated and then the construction of a Belt grinder for flat surfaces and rounded grinding are modeled. This is followed by a risk assessment analysis, including forms for estimating and subsequently proposing measures to reduce these risks. Part of the work is also the technical and economic evaluation and estimated costs for the implementation of proposed structure.
A system approach to valuing forming machines
Šůstek, Roman ; Mareček, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Kledus, Robert (advisor)
The dissertation deals with the innovation and concretization of methods for valuation of a wide group of machines, which consists of forming machines with an emphasis on the creation of a system of substantial quantities in the performance of price and parametric comparisons. The thesis is focused on identification of forming machine in relation to the design of their suitable subdivision, in terms of its design solution and execution of functional groups, definition of parameters describing its properties and consideration of the importance of justified parameters in the determination of the initial value of forming machine. The large variability of forming machines with different characteristics, together with the unavailability of price data, often leads to a subjective approach of an expert in solving valuation problems and thus to a possible omission of essential facts. This approach tends to make it difficult to verify results and for this reason also to question expert opinions. The result of the dissertation is a proposal of a procedure for solving valuation problems, in relation to the expert object and expert problem. Substantial conclusions are incorporated into the application form in the form of tables.
Design of the bottom housing manipulator of the toner cartridge
Horák, Jiří ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on bottom housing manipulator of the toner cartridge concept, construction and economical analysis. This manipulator should be potentially integrated into the toner cartridge assembling and filling prodution line. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on manipulation issues and object manipulation. Practical part consists of conception desing part which is followed by multi criteria decision analysis. Next part is focused on Construction and pneumatic scheme. Economical analysis is also part of the thesis. The diploma thesis also contain 3D models of the manipulator and drawing documentation.
Innovation of the existing feeding device solution in the context of an automated and robotic workstation
Porubský, Radek ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a new version of the production and assembly node, which is part of an automated and robotized workstation for product assembly. The main objective of modifying the original solution is to eliminate the problems of the existing solution and apply innovations to make the work process of the equipment more efficient. The main modification of the original solution is the replacement of the bowl vibratory feeders in combination with linear vibratory feeders by a flexible feeding system with camera and robot. The paper describes the process of designing a new solution for the node, which eliminates the problems of the existing solution and at the same time comes up with new innovations. By solving the problems of the original solution and introducing the innovations, the reliability, speed and smoothness of the working process of the machine is improved. The work includes, among other things, drawings, risk analysis and costing.
Increasing the productivity of the design process
Chaloupka, Michal ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the topic of increasing the productivity of the design process in a competitive environment. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to the explanation of the methodological approach, which is called the Brno Design School, which is based on a systemic approach standing on three key pillars, which are defined in the theoretical conception. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the proposal of a new methodology in the design process, which is presented on a specific example of a CNC machine tool. In the methodology, technical and economic criteria are proposed by means of which the different design options are evaluated. The aim of the methodology is to bring simplicity to the design process, thereby achieving savings in time, financial resources, and competitive advantage.
