I wrote about it's importance, function and possibilities of it's development. My work is divided into three parts. The first part contains general informations, definitions of basic terms, the relation of emotional intelligence and cognitive intelligence, and it's comparison with social intelligence. In this part I also mentioned debatable factors affecting EQ. The second part of my paper is the most important. Here I have done a survey of what is the function of emotional intelligence during childhood and nurture, and in education process (the influence of EQ on achievement, success and motivation in education, how schools work with EQ). The last part is about EQ in adulthood. Here I was thinking about the function and importance of emotional skills in the meaning of successful career, comfortable relationship and well-balanced attitude in postproductive period of life.
