The thesis analyses and evaluates current situation of Pivovar Jihlava, a. s. by theoretical knowledge. The thesis contains analyses of internal and external environment of the company through which are specified strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Based on obtained information, measures are suggested to lead to development and improvement of the current company situation on the market.

The aim of this diploma work is to create a marketing campaign of TA Hydronics product operating in the B2B market. The theoretical part will deal with the first characteristic of the concept of communication, followed by analysis of the current situation of the company, marketing and communication mix, which is diffused by new trends in communication. Next section will follow the implementation and monitoring phase. There is a characteristic of TA Hydronics at the practical part. A further part will focus on the marketing campaign proposal, with the transition to marketing situational analysis, including analysis of the internal and external environment.There is a control stage at the end of this work.

Next, it goes on with the analysis of employee evaluation and performance appraisals in the chosen organization with the focus on the relationship of the performance evaluation, their merit pay and fringe benefits. At the end, the practical part is compared with theoretical knowledge. Following recommendations are also proposed, which should contribute to the improvement of the current system of evaluation and remuneration in organizations.

Subject of this thesis is the problematic of personnel management focusing on the area of attracting and choosing employees. Theoretical part of this thesis is orientated on recruitment and selection of workforce and different methods of these procedures. This part has been written as a recherche of the literature. Practical part of the thesis focuses on concrete activities of recruitment and selection of workforce in company called TECHNOGYM., Ltd. The result of description and analysis of individual personal activities is the suggestion and recommendation for improvement and optimalization of this process. The aim of this thesis is to propose solutions which could help TECHNOGYM to recruit the most appropriate candidates from the labor market that would fit to demands of required work positions and so help to the most effective running of the company.

My dissertation is focused on description of characteristics which are connected with competences. The main aim of my work has been to set up the manager competences. After the analysis among the students of Faculty of Management we found which competences were obtained during our studies and which ones we had already had when we came to faculty. In my theoretical part I described the manager as a personality including all his competences, their development and the methods of developing. Practical part deals with analysis among the students of Faculty of Management, evaluation and presentation of the results in the form of the charts and graphs.

Thesis deals with the topic of managerial competence in small and medium-sized companies. The theoretical part describes typology of companies, divides them according to their size, structure and explains in more detail the concept of the manager and his personal characteristics. After that I focus mostly on the previously mentioned competencies, types of competencies, their development, use in past and also characteristics. The end of the theoretical part is dedicated to the competency model. Practical part of the thesis is based on interwievs, by which I am trying to ascertain the views of small and medium-sized companies on issues of competence and their need and importance for managers.
